The carpet aisle is such a mess in ramsey. They have bad cleaning . Can the carpet aisle needs to be organized

Seriously? How does this TJs not have a review. Specifically one by me? I've been here tons over the years. Cannot believe I missed this. In the growing and improving mall, on Rt 17 South near Ramsay is this TJs. There's a DSW, ShopRite, BB&B and much much more here. The parking lot gets super busy and you have to drive very carefully. This TJs is large and well stocked. Because it's in such a populated area it can get picked over quickly, so it makes sense to pass by often and early in the day. They have a large women's clothing section here and a smaller home section. Men's selection is smaller but pretty nice things. It's an upscale area and the merchandise here reflects that. Plenty of parking but it's very busy and you may have to walk. It's A-OK as one would expect from a large chain. 4F read more

I witnessed an employee during her shift grab two items off the shelves before a customer could get to them. Then when asked if they were for sale, she hid them under a pair of pants and rushed them up to the front counter where apparently they were being "held" for someone. That's fine, except I was in ear shot of the whole exchange and the employee joked about how one day she'll find a matching piece to the ceramics. Disgusting behavior, disrespectful and inconsiderate of the business she represents while employed there. A formal complaint is being filed and I'll be sure to follow up until the matter is handled. read more

Screw this store. They refused to give me a refund for a shirt that I had the receipt for, claiming that the tag didn't match the item and basically implying I was trying to screw them over. Somehow I get screwed because they messed up on their end. Dishonest and shady. The inventory has been crappy lately, the lines are far too long, and the management is poor. I used to love this store, but now I'm done. read more

i love this store and there new employees that work at the front. they are very nice and made check out really easy. i did not have a price on one of my items and the young girl went and got me a price for it. the store was clean and had a lot of dresses and makeup which are my favorite sections. i got a cute dress for 19.99 which is a steal in my book. read more

Terrible TJMAXX. Caitlin is highly unprofessional and rude. Definitely needs to learn proper customer service and etiquette. Won't be coming back. You'll find much better customer service at the Paramus location. This woman clearly hates working here and it shows. read more

Excellent store for bargain hunting on stylish women's clothing. I stop in whenever I remember and have time as it's right in my town. I've found some excellent tops, pants, workout clothes and handbags here. Also good for picking up gift cards for your friends or female relatives. I sometimes find kids clothing here but the racks are not that we'll stocked for kids. Good location as it's in a busy strip mall with a Shop Rite, CVS, DSW and many other stores. read more

This TJ is horrible. Not only is it dirty and disorganized, most of the employees are either extremely rude and loud, or don't speak any english. I've never really had a good experience with the staff there(especially the loud mouthed older brunette that thinks she's a comedian) but last week was my last time ever shopping there. Waited online for 45 minutes while 4 older women intentionally moved so slowly. If I didn't desperately need my items I would have left. They would stop ringing up customers mid way through the transaction to put away hangers! At a turtles pace at that. Horrible business. read more

Good selection of clothes but not really that organized. The store was a mess today. If you're willing to spend some time and comb through the racks you can definitely find some good deals. I got three dresses and a pair of sandals today for $47, I was happy with that. This particular location is constantly busy. Today the line was soooo long and even though every register was open, it moved really slow. Also, beware....there are tons of snobby woman that shop here. Bump into you without saying excuse me, eye you up and down, practically steal clothes out of your hands... you know...all those catty things. Parking sucks too. If I wasn't looking to kill time on my lunch break, I probably wouldn't ever come here. There's other TJ Maxx that have better parking, are less crowded and don't have so many snobby shoppers. read more

I love tjmaxx, the best place to shop for a bargain hunter. This particular place is usually clean, however its a bit small. Be careful of the makeup aisle it sucks you in but half the time the items are open and someone has tried them. the lines are always!!! Insanely long so be ready for that. But the multi ethnic group of associates provide good customer service. I also wish the clothes were displayed more beautifully sometimes it seems a bit disorganized and unappealing to the eye. A lot of good finds in the home section and it is very clean and organized. read more

I recently shopped at the TJ Maxx located in Ramsey, NJ this passed week. I was shopping for a piece of jewelry to give to my girlfriend for Valentine's day. They had a great selection and to my surprise I only spent around $100. The blonde haired saleswoman made picking out my gift seamless. She was not only friendly, but also knowledgeable about the products and prices. I have nothing but good things to say about my overall experience and the customer service I received. I will be sure to shop at this TJ Maxx location in the near future, thank you. read more

Just listened to the one male manager (younger guy with a beard not the older man hes sweet) lecture a lady for 5 minutes straight no exaggeration telling her why she should be signing up for their store card after she politely declined multiple times. He then went on to tell her how many credit cards he has and what his bills are per month and his car insurance? Like why?Telling her having a ton of credit cards is good and she had to constantly defend herself as to why she didn't want to sign up. Really ridiculous if you ask me. If he had done this to me he would not have been too happy with how i would've responded to it. Stop trying to force people to sign up for your card, and if they say no drop it. read more

I go here often because it's the only convenient and cheap place to go for clothing. I hate how disorganized the store is - it's really hard to find the things you want, especially when the sizes are all in the wrong order. Moreso, I hate how long the lines get, because it takes an extremely long time to check out. There have been instances where they've paged for the other employees to come and open their registers, and yet they don't show up, even after minutes of waiting and multiple calls from the front end. The friendliness of the staff is 50/50, depending on who's ringing you up/helping you. I dislike their lack of availability in their store as well - I came in looking for a plain, white button down for juniors/ladies and the only one I found was stained with someone else's makeup. That's one of the most basic items of clothing yet I couldn't find any. I go to the Marshalls in Wyckoff instead if I have the option to.I know they're run by the same company, so maybe it's just the management of this store that's disorganized. Just walked out of there after waiting 20+ minutes online and only two registers open. Someone ahead of me asked the manager to open more registers and she smiled and said, "No." Meanwhile, within 10 feet of me, one employee was fixing the makeup display and another was fixing the shopping carts. My girlfriend and I came to this location so she can pick out some work clothes. She found everything she was looking for and was more than happy with what she picked out. We waited on line with our items and came to the first register. As we checked out, we were informed if we would like a 10% discount on our purchase that day. Knowing it was for a credit card sign up, I informed my girlfriend and the cashier we are good for today. The cashier came real persistent and heckled us for another near 10 minutes for us to sign up. After telling the cashier that we are ok for today, the lady looked at my girlfriend and asked "ARE YOU JUST GOING TO SIT THERE AND LISTEN TO YOUR OWNER?" We both found this extremely off putting and racist because my girlfriend is from ethnic background. While I know it is the cashiers job to promote the credit card, we felt extremely uncomfortable and discriminated against for such comment. Being a loyal customer to TJ Maxx in Ramsey, my girlfriend and I found it appropriate that we take our business elsewhere. We don't feel comfortable shopping in a discriminating environment that says brash comments to their customers. If you value a nice and friendly shopping environment, don't come to this store. My girlfriend and I left here extremely upset and harassed while spending a Saturday shopping. We won't be back!!! read more

I love this TJMAX, yes the lines are always long but it is worth the wait. I always find great buys and great stuff. There is more of a selection then other TJMAX's. I have one local but I choose to drive the extra 45 minutes to go to this one. I was looking for a certain dress I had seen in my area TJMAX, I called all the TJMAX's and no one had it, except this one in Ramsey, NJ BANG! This one has it! Good job TJMAX! read more

Asked if an item was still available and the employees looked at me like I was crazy and it was probably because they barely knew english! This is the last TJ Maxx I'd recommend anyone to go.
