I came here looking for an appropriate Mother's Day gift this past weekend and luckily was able to find a few solid items in their homegoods section. A ceramic butter tray, personalized wine stopper, and a series of small dishes meant I wouldn't have to make multiple stops (success!) The clothing aisles were in a moderate state of disarray, while the shelves of assorted kitchen knickknacks weren't much better. However, where this store falters in cleanliness, they make up for in selection. Nichole C found an awesome purse at a bargain price (she actually found *3*, but only bought one, thank christ). Checkout was tedious; there were only two registers open on a Saturday evening and the employees weren't exactly moving at lightspeed. This added up to a long wait in line, with some customers impatiently tapping their feet, others a mixture of annoyed sighs and assorted eye-rolling. There's a few shady businesses in the Winston Plaza shopping area but this Marshall's isn't the worst of the bunch......that dubious honor goes to the ghetto-tastic Dollar Tree and their "steak-shaped meat conglomerates". Stop in and take a look, you might find a gem or two on the shelves. Just don't make a habit out of coming here.

I moved to a different section and while looking for a pair of an earrings she was behind me. Asking me to buy her kids stuff. I was scared and said I will when I'm done shopping. I noticed she kept asking more and more young women. Like 16-20s, it was very uncomfortable she was eventually asked to leave.

Technically this shopping emporium is in suburban Rosemont, and hardcore shoppers from out of town have been known to make some last-minute purchases here before flying out of nearby O'Hare Airport. Most local shoppers drive here, and grouse about the cost of parking to shop here. We arrived via the free shuttle bus that makes a circuit around Rosemont hotspots and connects to the Rosemont CTA Blue Line station. We are not huge shoppers, but we enjoyed checking out a variety of stores and eyeballing the public art installations. There were deals to be had if you wanted them. We also enjoyed a couple of free treats from the wonderful chocolate shops, and there is a decent food court if you need a bite to eat. Amazingly there is also a 7-11 where you can get a beverage or snack, and the prices seem to be the same as those in standard 7-11 stores not embedded in shopping emporiums.

During my purchase, one of my items was accidentally scanned twice, which I unfortunately didn't notice until I got home and checked my receipt. Another issue was the way the transaction was handled. While my payment was still processing, the cashier turned around and stopped assisting me. When the payment finished, instead of handing me my receipt like she did with the customers before me, she simply told me to grab it myself from the machine. It felt dismissive and unprofessional. I already tried resolving this with the store manager ABBY, but my concerns were dismissed, so I'm now reaching out for further assistance and hoping this issue is taken seriously.

It's kind of a hit or miss; I've had good experiences and not-so-good experiences. No matter what time of the day you come here at, I swear this Walmart is always busy. I've never seen it slow on any day or any time. The parking can be kind of hectic because of this, too, but I usually just park in the back anyway to avoid it (gotta get my steps in). This Walmart is BIG and has everything a Walmart requires - food, clothes, toiletries, electronics, decor, seasonal stuff, etc. Sometimes I find their shelves empty and running out of a lot of stuff. Sometimes I find their shelves fully stocked, it's really up in the air when I come in. I've usually always had a good experience with the staff though; they're pretty helpful and nice. The worst experience I had was when my sister and I bought a TV here for our apartment. We bought a TV and had a good experience with the employees; however, when we opened up the TV at home there was a huge crack in it and it was not a workable TV because of it. We went back to customer service and it turns out they re-sold a returned, broken TV. They said it should have never been on their shelves. It was just a whole ordeal and took kinda long and then we had to buy another TV since that was the last one within the price range we were looking for. I've been to better Walmarts and I've been to worse, this one is okay if you're looking for simple items!

There were so many people from children to adults waiting on Mr. Claus himself to arrive my Helicopter. There were activities for the kids to enjoy. There was a free hot chocolate stand set up. Face painting, and free activities for kids. If you spent $25 or more purchase from any merchant store at Winston Plaza. You were able to get a free photo with Santa. The kickoff started at noon and Mr. & Mrs. Claus landed safely and in fashion. This was a epic experience for the family.
