I enjoy Dillard's selection of men's clothing, as the first floor is vast and filled with all varieties from dress to casual and active wear along with shoes, accessories, cologne and more. I swing through on occasion, mainly when I need to scoop up something in the business professional department. Pricing is hit and miss, and quality and design really fluctuates based on price point. The store is clean and in decent condition. Service is hard to come by, as they are not staffed super well, even on the weekends. Overall, standard Dillard's location. Nothing special, nothing terrible.

Right now, fall decor is on sale. I saw some great deals on center pieces. Time to get things while they last. I enjoyed looking through the matching Christmas PJs. Service is awful, if you receive any at all. Rarely staff on the floor to assist, and when they do assist, you are a clear bother. Register staff are no better, and are actively on their phones will ringing you out. It is shocking, especially for Target, that they allow this level of service. This location is notorious for having stock issues, whether it be disastrously stocked shelves with items in wrong places or completely empty shelves. Additionally, and one of the biggest pain points of this location is the amount of goods that are now behind plexiglass, requiring an associate to come unlock for you. This is a stock and service issue, as there have been many times the wait has caused us to simply leave. No one should have to wait 10+ minutes to get an item from the shelf. If you are going to have items that require staff assistance, then you need to staff appropriately. Cleanliness and condition are not much better. Bathrooms are rarely clean, empty containers and trash strewn throughout the store...Conditionally, this Target needs more than a refresh, a good demolish and rebuild would be best. I honestly hate to be so harsh, but this Target is awful.

I have learned in the past few years that early weekend mornings are always the best here. From number of registers, friendliness of Associates, shelves stocked, better choices of meats, etc...So, you will rarely find me here anytime other than 9a - 10a on a Saturday or Sunday. I will say that outside of that time, this location is absolutely chaotic with unfriendly/unhelpful staff, few registers open which creates massive lines, even at self check, along with a cart riddled parking lot. So, schedule your visits with care. As with many other retail spots, a lot of items have now been placed behind locked doors, requiring assistance to get open. While the cosmetics and electronic departments are usually staffed well for this, if you ever need undies or undershirts in the men's area, good luck. Overall, this Walmart comes in clutch when needed. I have learned how to maneuver this location to ensure a solid experience each time. It is a solid 2.5 stars.

Gosssip, condescending conversations labeling people as "It" needs to cease. I didn't respond to the needless banter that wasted my time in line but it's unfortunate for me to have a conversation about disrespect with my suspended nephew and grown people do it to each other everyday...and to people they don't personally know. The clerk was kind to give me free sunglasses for Aiden after she figured out I may be competent enough to understand the conversation she and a couple shared in front of me. I like the idea of the Idea Hatchery. This stretch of Woodland is full of 'hidden' businesses that…read moreblend in with the older homes on the street. Because of the name, I guessed the Idea Hatchery was a shared workspace or a writing collective. It *only* took me [redacted] years to get out of my car and walk in to see what's what. Flanked by an antiques shop and an art gallery (if you've done Tomato Arts Fest you know right where this is), the collective's appearance is a bit nondescript but that makes the discovery all the better, no? Inside the threshold are eight uniquely (east) Nashville businesses. As an incubator, the Hatchery is a perfect spot to test out concepts and gain sea legs before opting for a bigger location or an expanded footprint. It's a great go-between from online/out of the house to stand alone brick and mortar. I believe this is the spiritual parent to the Shoppes on Fatherland. Right now the current occupants tend to skew a bit 'female' in what they do (fashion, art, etc.) but that's not to say that there isn't a lot for a number of demographics to choose from. Selfishly, I'm hoping that some sort of food/treat business takes up residence in the shops. Toffee? Taffy? Shaved Ice? I can keep going folks. Actually, an old-timey, regional candy store would fit in well. Boom. I just found your newest tenant. Sort of. East End has a lot of fun businesses to explore. Next time you're in the neighborhood, scoot just a bit past that (locally) famous intersection and get a taste of what the area has to offer. I think you'll enjoy what you find. We popped in looking for some furniture in the form of a dining table set and we ended up leaving with a candle, some outdoor lights and a cooler...none of which we were after or truly in need of. Back to the table...they had a table we loved, but they had it due to some damage on it and unfortunately the scratch was a little too deep to fix so we sadly passed. Most of the items are new in package, but they do sell second life items that feature some variety of damage. Nothing glaring, but enough to be noticeable on most of these items. Overall, The Yard Sale Store was a cool spot to spend some time on a weekend afternoon. While we do not find ourselves in Mt. Juliet too often, when we do...this place with be on the radar!
