The TJMaxx in this store is amazing and probably my most favorite in Virginia. They are several places to eat or relax within the mall and as well as restaurants surrounding the mall. They have a wide variety of stores for all ages and genres. Located close to Liberty University which is nice for on campus students or family visiting the students. Upon entering the store, I immediately felt overwhelmed. Soooo much stuff and it's all over the place. Not a good sign. I loss interest quickly. This store doesn't have its own identity, unfortunately. It's like a mash up of several different stores. I didn't like it. Left out without making any purchases. I don't think I will be returning. I overheard two customers expressing their surprise and unhappiness. I wanted to try on a pair of pants at 8:40 PM and was told the dressing rooms closed at 8:00 PM. Totally ridiculous! I dropped the pants and immediately left! This used to be one of the best clothing stores in Lynchburg. Now I don't even shop here due to the policies as mentioned, rude employees and lack of selection. I can definitely see why they are struggling. Take your business elsewhere!

Your basic needs are met: produce, baked goods, dairy, canned food, and regular grocery items. There is also pet food, paper products, some toiletries and ice. The self check out was convenient. I didn't see many employees but I didn't need one.

If the shopping carts were A. conveniently available or B. didn't look like they were growing a new strain of ebola, I would've been there for an hour and a half and filled an entire cart full of stuff to hide from my husband. The graphic tees are fun and I really wanted one of them but I felt I would be appropriating if I bought it. Hats--love. Cheap clothing--love. Graphic socks--love. I would've probably ended up buying about 10 rugs, another cart full of household items, toiletries, and toys. I couldn't even torture myself by looking. I'm going back. Next week.
