Well stocked store and great selection of women's clothing, accessories and jewelry. Based in the demographics, this locations seems to have more of the higher end items and "designer" clothing and handbags - but you still have to search for them! Whenever I am at a TJ Maxx, I visit the jewelry counter to find unique pieces of sterling silver at fabulous prices. They have many designers from Israel and India that creat well made earrings, rings, necklaces and bracelets that are not the typical styles that everyone has. It's always worth looking through this counter for silver, and also on trend pieces. At this location, I found a gorgeous bracelet that looks like 6 separate bangles but it's one large piece. It's a substantial "signature" bracelet that is surprisingly lightweight. For $79, it's mine! Also found a lightweight black sweater with a black and white leopard print shirttail hem. I could get lost in this store for hours! This place is really cool, I like the huge selection of things they have. They have such a vast selection of things and such good prices too. The customer service is ok, it could be better around the holidays when it could get busy. But I do like coming here, I like the bathroom selection they have, the pans at discounts, I could go on. I bought a plastic bottle on Wed. (11/29/2023), but the hanger was broken on the first day I used it. Went to the store asking for return on Fri. (12/01/2023). A senior cashier lady asked for receipt, and insisted that no return without receipt or a price tag (to prove the item was bought from TJMaxx). She even said this bottle might not be sold at the store. I offered to find the same bottle at the store, but she refused. Then she asked her manager, who said the same thing (receipt or price tag) at first. I explained that price tag was removed before first use and couldn't find receipt. Manager was very rude, said I couldn't understand her, kept interrupting me, and even once asked me not to talk. I had to try my best to calm down. Eventually I found a same bottle at the store proving it was bought right there. Finally got refund, but was really angry with their attitude and rude behaviors. read more

Since my last review this has become my favorite TJ Maxx Store. I've been to others but they don't compare to this one. I think because this TJ Maxx is located in a better area, so the quality and selection has become much better then it used to be. You can pretty much find anything here. The clothing is definitely good quality, stylish with many designers to choose from. Like Free the People, Michael Kors, Tahari, Ellen Tracy, Ralph Lauren and more. I just want to mention every week new merchandise comes in. During the holidays there is definitely an abundance of things to choose from, but right after the holidays the merchandise can be less to choose from until it's restocked. The clothes are all laid out on racks according to sizes like XS, S, M, L, XL, and big women's sizes 1X- 3X. There is a nice shoe, jewelry,bedding and bath department with many cute items for sale. There is a good selection of kitchenware and gadget department. My favorite thing is the unique spice isle. Over the years I have found all kinds of interesting spices like Himalayan pink salt, Greek seasoning's, Sesame Teriyaki, Turmeric, Ginger Citrus, Shallots, Honey Aleppo Pepper, Scallions, Leeks dry seasoning and more, . I tend to find unique olive oils, pastas, and sauces I can't find elsewhere and the best part is the inexpensive prices. Today I even found several flavored packages of gluten free gnocchi for $3.99. .The brand that I really love is called Victoria. The only other place I saw this brand was at their sister store Home Goods, and online. The online prices are much higher. TJ Maxx sells great designer handbags, wallets, and backpacks of all shapes and sizes at a much lower price then you can get at the mall with a coupon. If your into designer makeup, designer shampoos and conditioners then this is your place. There is something for everybody. It really depends when you come, because this TJ Maxx changes week to week. The staff here is always friendly and helpful. There is plenty of parking and what's great is they always have at least 7 registers open for checkout so the lines move quickly. If you need to try on clothes they got you covered, they have a large women's dressing room. I find myself always coming here first instead of going to the mall to find gift. I think in the past four years this store has gotten so much better then it used to be. read more

This location has merchandise that someone sewed and attached designer labels to non designer clothing. I tried on what I thought was a Theory coat - the label and tag said Theory - but the buttons said Elie Tahari. I also saw the same thing with a sweater that had a Tory Burch label and tag but looked really junky so I looked at the material/care label which had a different brand on it. read more

This is one of the better TJ Maxx stores. Like most of the TJ Maxx/Marshalls stores, the mens section is fairly small. The store is kept very clean, the staff has always been friendly and helpful. Its hit or miss at these stores - sometimes you find great deals on high end clothing in your size, other times the selection is sparse. read more

TJ Maxx - Department Stores Near Me - Gillette, New Jersey

For me this TJM is a hit or miss. I don't find it to be as well stocked as the Marshalls down the road. Its in a shopping plaza that is 1/2 empty - a lot of the stores are closed, closing or irrelevant. The only reason to come here is Home Goods, Old Navy and Kings. I will pop in here when i come to Home Goods hoping to find some find but i often walk out of the store empty handed. They do have a jewelry case that has some decent affordable pieces that would otherwise be about twice the price. i had done some gift shopping here for sons girl friends so for this i give it 3 stars. read more

Gillette location is by far the worst store I've been to and I would shop here often for certain cute items you can find sometimes.They exhibit poor customer service and they don't ring stuff up right whether it's a purchase or return. Some workers seem to be having a bad day and it definitely shows with their nasty attitudes. Also the store isn't the cleanest or neatest even when going during first open time. I would not recommend shopping here what so ever to waste your time. You may find stuff but find yourself dealing with a unhappy coworker that just messes up your entire shopping experience. read more

I love that this store is a "Runway store" (carries high end designers), but unfortunately that is where the upscale experience ends. The customers have as little respect for the Runways items as the rest of the store, throwing things around after they are done looking at them. As for the store itself, they are not exactly equipped for the high-end merchandise. They didn't have a box big enough for the $250 necklace I bought last time, and, more recently, when I asked for my $200 blouse to be "left hanging", the cashier crumpled it into the bag and threw the hanger in after it. I was at The tj maxx location in gilette, nj this morning. I purchased two outfits and wanted to exchange for a smaller size. I used my new tj maxx rewards card so I had a 10% off for my purchase. I was exchanging for the exact same items except for the size. The cashier who was also a manager is Janet S. She with a scowl told me to enter my credit card myself into the pin pad cause I have yet to receive my physical card. Then she told me she could not process the exchange and will have to ring my two items separately. I asked about the discount being applied she said no discount. I explained that it's the same items only smaller size and I wanted to exchange not return. She says she can't process it because u had other items on my original purchase. She was extremely annoyed. I said then I don't want it. She said fine and snatched the items off the counter. She clearly was not in a good mood or wanted to be there. My purchase was $90. Not a huge sum but if she loses a few customers a day like this this location will go out of business. I was really excited to use my card and truly loved my purchases. She ruined a wonderful shopping experience. read more

I would say this location is pretty bad for tj maxx.. I don't know what it is, I never ever find anything at this location. They carry a lot of the higher end items due to the area but it seems like the main items that come in for men are not high quality at all. Its all the off brand items, the name brand ones that do come in are really horrible.. I go to the bridgewater location and find a lot more name brand items. read more

Not a fan of this particular store. I have been here so many times with my wife and I have never been able to get anything. The men's selection is absolutely terrible - one of the worst I have seen. My wife does get stuff from time to time here, but I have had no such luck. I know these stores are hit or miss, but it has been a total miss for me. I also feel like the men's selection is very unkept. By that, I mean that the stuff is almost never in the size order that they have listed by the signs and there are literally clothes thrown all over the place. I am sure you can get some good finds here from time to time but none for me. read more

TJ Maxx in Stiriling is newly renovated. I always walk out of there with something, even if I have no intention on purchasing anything. I think the store is well organized and they have a great selection. I purchased a Michael Kors bag for $125 there! That left me a happy customer :) read more
