I wish they had more selections for men's bathing suits. I came here to get matching dresses for my daughters and me that I had seen on social media, but they were no longer selling them. I hope they bring back more matching outfits for moms and children in the future! I ended up getting a 40 oz water bottle and a pair of summer sandals. They always have something nice to find. The price for the sandals felt a little higher than similar stores, but they seemed to be good quality. The service was fast. We'd love to come back here again. read more

TJ Maxx is an off-price chain retail store that offers clothing (for women, men, and children), footwear, jewelry, handbags, beauty products, luggage, children's toys, pets' toys, kitchenware, bedding, bath products, home decor, and more. I shopped here with nothing in mind to buy, but I felt most interested in the women's clothing. The racks of clothing were not well organized by size. I found dresses that I liked, and then I felt disappointed that the size was in the wrong section of the rack. I thought that the prices for clothing ranged from being a bargain to still being a bit expensive (e.g., $80 for a jacket). I found a pair of name-brand casual pants to buy. The comparable price was $20, and they were marked down to $15. I waited in line for a couple of minutes before a cashier called me over to her register. I shop often at this Cranberry TJ Maxx location & in the last few months they have just revamped the inside of the store to make it look more streamlined and organized. They also redid the dressing rooms. One of the biggest changes I would say inside the store is that the Make Up department has been organized differently. They do have tons of make up and hair products that are a much better price... Even some things that are currently at Ulta or Sephora for 2 to 3 times the price such as IGK, Ouidad, R & Co, Olaplex, NARS, MAC, Bare Minerals. This location has The Runway, which is not available at all locations. That is the design her section and depending on what you are looking for you can find some Deep discounts on high end designer clothing, especially after it goes on first or second sale. they have a large shoe department. A large pet department. A lot of people like HomeGoods better for housewares, but I found some decent home things here too. I have been shopping at this location probably since they opened and I have to admit I get tons and tons of my clothing here at Deep discount. it is located in the 228 Shopping Center next to the pet store and in the middle of the plaza from Target. read more

I wanted to see if I could take advantage of the tax free clothes shopping so I dashed into TJ Maxx after visiting another nearby store. I didn't really look at any clothes for myself, but I felt the baby girl 18 months and the 4-5 boys sizes were quite lacking. I ended up buying some Halloween books for my kids. The kid book selection was, to me, oddly placed toward the checkout. The selection isn't huge but they had some series that we like at our home, so I picked up a few of those books. The store was large and the staff at checkout were friendly. To me, this store didn't seem better nor worse than my local TJ Maxx locations , so I'd vouch for this being a solid location in the area. read more

I've run hot and cold on TJ Maxx for years. Lately I've been on a hot streak! Over the past few months I've found some great bargains in this fun little hodgepodge store that seems to be stocked suddenly with some really great bargain home goods, exercise goodies, clothes for both men and women, purses & my new favorite, discounted pet toys & products. The store and in particular the fitting rooms seem cleaner and better lighted than in years past. I would say they've had some good selection here for current home trends. That's what I mostly purchase here is home decor and sometimes clothes and gifts. The children's section also has a good variety of clothes. Not a lot of miscellaneous baby stuff like washcloths, bibs. The customer service has been ok but inconsistent (depends on the associate). I contemplated giving this location a 4-5 star based on an impressive associate who recognized that i might need a shopping cart, and she offered to get one for me. Wish I knew her name, but then there are some younger associates at the register who gave me pretty bad service. As in making smart comments and some won't even smile or greet you, but I always do the smiling and greeting first anyway. The other star has been subtracted because I don't know why they have a tjmaxx rewards card separate from a credit card rewards when there's really no perks to the non-credit card rewards other than possibly selling my e-mail address and never failing to send junk emails. The associates at the registers will ask you if you want to join because it's a "rewards card," and then if you do have it, they remind you that you don't really need to show it bc there are no perks. Oh no... I started working near this TJMaxx only last week and have already discovered how dangerous it can be! I had heard from friends that there was a *magical* location in Cranberry but really had no reason in the past to make a 40 minute drive to see if they were right. Well... today I confirmed that they were telling the truth. The store initially does not look as large or impressive as you would expect. However, quality product is packed into this place. Compared to other locations, I felt like there was a lot fewer of those junky items lying around and getting in the way of the good stuff. First, I discovered a purple Camelbak water bottle and some purple Skull Candy headphones. These items will be accompanying me to my office to keep me both hydrated and sane! My husband and I also grabbed some things for the house -- 3 new pillows for the family room sofa, a large basket to hold the numerous blankets in our family room, and one or two other items. (Even though it was just last night I somehow can't remember?) While heading to the checkout, we walked past the incredible Runway section of the store. I was walking -- blinked twice -- and turned around. Did that handbag just have a Chloe tag on it? I looked at the price tag... $999. I then noticed a stash of Diane von Furstenberg shoes on the same fixture. All that to say, if you're looking for a TJMaxx location with amazing product and/or a store that sells Bloomingdale's/Saks brands at a discount, check out this store. read more

I love this location, especially for specific designer brands at great prices. However, the fitting rooms are incredibly hot. There is absolutely no air circulating, and I find myself leaving empty handed because of it. It is so uncomfortable to try clothes on in a stuffy fitting room. read more

I stopped into this store to do a bit of shopping on my trip from Maryland to Canada. I didn't find too much, though I focused my attention on housewares and not clothing. I like to shop in this TJ Maxx when I am in the area. It has a bigger and nicer selection of clothes, shoes, handbags, pretty much everything. I love the clothes they carry and buy quite a bit of my clothing and shoes there. It's a great place to buy home decor, kitchen items, and small furniture. you can find great deals on jewelry as well as undergarments, hair products, and bath products. They have great picture frames too. It's a great place to buy gifts for friends, family, or yourself. read more

This location needs to train their employees better. I had a Kate Spade bag IN MY HAND while I was speaking with my husband on the phone. An employee TAKES THE BAG FROM ME and HANDS IT TO ANOTHER WOMAN who bought it out from under me!!! I was AMAZED!!! It took me a good minute to figure out what was happening since I thought she may have been taking the bag off the sensor for me to look at. But NOPE. Bottom line: quite honestly, I don't understand this store, and I don't know if I want to. From an alpha male's perspective, there is very little here in the way of stylish clothing. I come here a few times a month with a friend who swears by this place, and the number of times we want to buy a shirt just to take it off the shelf, just to remove it from society, because of its sheer and offensive hideousness, is astounding. Plus, the clothes here are just so expensive, even on clearance (the XL-size stuff that doesn't look like we're bringing back the 1980's Donna Summer disco, that is. Not that Donna Summer isn't bad, but there's a time and a place and quite frankly I never have the time, nor am I at the place). I don't understand the home decor piece, either. I think the target audience for this store is late twenties, early thirties, but the prices say late fifties, early sixties. Everything in the home decor section just looks sad and ragged, not well-loved like they're intending. Granted, I prefer ergonomic, industrial furniture to artsy-fartsy stuff, but the stuff here looks more like a thrift shop than an upscale retailer (no offense, Goodwill, no offense). The toys section is targeted for infants and toddlers (I think?) and then they have some random remote controlled cars thrown in. I will say that the purses here look all right; I'd be content coming here to purchase a purse for that special someone. They do have Michael Kors, after all. I just went shopping at this location and noticed they now have a small Runway section at the front of the store. Top designer brands like Tory Burch, Vince and 2B Rych!!! Will most certainly go back. Staff was very friendly and they have one of the best jewelry selections of any Maxx I've been in. Check out was smooth and line moved quickly. read more

Fabulous bargains on Runway collection clothing such ash DVF, Helmut Lang, Rag and Bone, Haute Hippie, Chloe, Missoni and so many more designers. Excellent customer service and good management of high traffic check-out. This is also a clean and well organized store. Great home goods as well and awesome selection of specialty items.
