TJ Maxx Cranberry Twp., PA
Mac R.

I've run hot and cold on TJ Maxx for years. Lately I've been on a hot streak! Over the past few months I've found some great bargains in this fun little hodgepodge store that seems to be stocked suddenly with some really great bargain home goods, exercise goodies, clothes for both men and women, purses & my new favorite, discounted pet toys & products. The store and in particular the fitting rooms seem cleaner and better lighted than in years past. Thumbs up that they also fixed their old check out nightmares of years past by offering next available cashier check out lines.

fall decor already.

Time to open guys.... You have an open air entrance. It can't be this hard to open. You should have been ready to roll several days ago.

I occasionally visit this mall for something different to do. I cannot do all of my shopping here, but I enjoy some of the chain stores. Furthermore, the mall is in good condition and seems to be safe. I imagine that residents of Cranberry Township do a lot of shopping here.

There are a variety of stores including but not limited to: ALDI, Hallmark, Five Below, Dollar Tree, Petco, Marshall's, Home Goods, ULTA, Carter's, OshKosh B'Gosh, American Eagle, Kirkland's, Michael's and more. Fast food/restaurants located here include Wendy's, Panda Express, Jason's Deli and more. The reason I cannot give this shopping center a 5 star review is that there are often SO many panhandlers that seem to get away with begging for cash in parking lots and in between the Panda Express and Wendy's where the traffic light is located. The panhandlers work in shifts as part of a group of usually young men but sometimes women too. They often have big dogs or pit bulls with them. This turns me off of shopping here. It makes me feel unsafe. Gumberg Associates owns this property so I will try reaching out to them and the Cranberry Township Police are aware as well and have asked that anyone who sees this activity call 911 and contact them to report it.

This mall also contains several local home-improvement businesses that can be useful to homeowners (e.g., handyman, heating and cooling, Bath Fitter, appliance repair, cabinets, and grout repair). A few businesses offer recreational activities for physical fitness, including a swim school, trampoline park, and indoor cycling. Many other businesses include a Verizon, salon and spa, UPS, jewelry store, candle store, etcetera. This mall does not have a large grocery store, but other nearby malls do.

They recently refurbished their patio area and put in a fire pit and outdoor stage for live music. August 28-30 they had several outdoor family friendly events. They had some special activities for kids during the morning & early afternoon. They had a few food trucks. From 4-5pm Max Schang's Trio of Blues played on the stage. (Best Buy Cranberry Township PA) So much to say here:…read moreWe needed to replace a 6 year old LG TV that failed, we can no longer physically install a big TV by ourselves. 1. We did not price check, and make sure to include not just the installation cost, but also the cost of removing and disposing of the old TV. So in total, we probably over paid. 2. We accepted the BestBuy credit card and did not attempt to use the "store credit" that was promised, which had to be used in a certain amount of time. 3. We went to the store to make a second payment, specifically to pay off the balance of aprox $450, and we were told by the Best Buy employee that the TV was now paid for in full. A few days later when we got a bill for $40 we thought this bill was incorrect because we had been told at the store that the bill was paid in full. We should have inquired, but we did not, as the $40 was for accrued interest and a late fee because the payoff had been paid two days late. Approximately a month later, we got a phone call from Citibank that we now owed them over $82. Citibank demanded on the phone that we pay either with a debit card within 24 to 48 hours) or immediately give them our checking account number and bank routing number. (We questioned even if this was a legitimate phone call as they would not accept payment with a different credit card) At that point, I went to the BestBuy store and paid in cash the $82 amount (which was all interest and penalty fees). Then I asked the manager of the store if I could cancel the credit card at the store and he said that is not allowed! He gave me a phone number and asked me to go to my car and call from the car. At that point, I was eventually able to get through to the Best Buy credit card representative and close the account. If I would've just used one of my existing credit cards to buy this TV, I would not have had to go through all of this, (which has now probably reduced my credit rating) My Summary: As you look at the reviews for this store, use the sort feature and sort by the latest reviews so that you are looking at other recent reviews that were left here within the past year or so. Then you can make up your own mind about whether you want to give this company any of your business, and/or open any credit with this company.

When my screen saver cracked, I returned to Best Buy for a free replacement. I was told that the store no longer stocked the size that fit my phone, and that I would have to contact the manufacturer who warranted the screen saver, who happened to be 1 1/2 hour drive from me. The manufacturer also stated the screen saver was free, but it would cost $20 to install it! When I advised Best Buy of this and sought reimbursement, the manager basically said "tough shit", they could not help me. Needless to say, we will never shop their again!
