I love shopping here. They have so many cute things and the prices are reasonable. Home Goods has a fantastic display of pillows and other accessories to "freshen up" your home. I always find something I love when shopping here. Parking isn't a problem and there are always shopping carts available for loading up on treasures. The check out process can be a bit trying. There is one line, and lots of cashiers. Sometimes the line wraps around the men's department! The cashiers are fast and courteous. My cashier today was Anna, and she wrapped every item individually for me, and even dusted off a trash can that I purchased so the pillow it was going in the bag with wouldn't get dusty! So I came for the 2nd time in a year. Last time I was here for only a moment to pick up a new sauce pan. Today I was here longer. All the staff are masked. But they don't require customers to be. So basically putting staff at risk. They had a lot of "help wanted" signs posted. I'd imagine those might be easier to fill if they had a mask policy for all too. The store is packed full of stuff, and early in the day was well organized. One star because of the "bad for staff safety" mask policy. Seriously TJMaxx, think through those decisions. Tj Maxx is a store that has a little bit of this, and a little bit of that. You have designer clothes and items for women, men and kids. You have a small section of novelty items, which you will find spices and a few home decor items. They are affiliated with HomeGoods next door, they offer a greater range of home items. The prices range depending on what your looking for. I found that while some designer clothes are super cheap, a small novelty end table is very expensive. My wife and kids love this place, I am not a fan of Tj Maxx. I never once found anything for me, they just don't carry the style of clothes I'm into. read more

I finally made it out to the Home Store section of TJMaxx in the hopes of finding all those odds and ends that I I was hoping to find in person rather than on line. It didn't seem to be especially busy so up to the door we went. The sign requested masks be worn through the store , no problem, and while inside they required social distancing be maintained over the intercom and in person by the staff at the check out line. The store was chocked full of merchandised. It was no easy feat walking down the isles. Turning the cart required four way stops and mirrors! And plenty of u turns if there was merchandise left at the end of the isle or other shoppers in the isle. I was successful at finding a few items that I needed and that created a terrible quandary. Do I really want to stand in that line that seemed to go on forever. Assured by my daughter that the line moved fast , I took my chances. It was incredibly hot in there because for whatever reason there was no air going in the store. That combined with wearing the mask that was requested of us, and I thought for certain my face was going to melt off. My daughter is rarely wrong but she was she admitted wrong and the line that wrapped outside of the actual isle three more times, moved very slowly. The clerk who we did finally get to check us out was very friendly and efficient. They had three fans blowing on them!!! Paying for the merchandise was the coolest few minutes in the entire experience. Usually going into tjmaxx is the rabbit hole of retail shopping, but it was just to uncomfortable to get lured in by anything in there. read more

This is where Barbie always ends up Maxxing out her credit card. It's connected to the HomeGoods that is here, but we're not very big fans of this particular TJ Maxx. It's big but it doesn't have the best selection of men's stuff. Especially not sexy athletic men's stuff that shows off my muscles, which is the only reason we really come in here honestly - for me anyway. Barbie found a few couple of things that she liked, but nothing that she wanted to buy. I like the ones better in Houston to be honest. And this one, and its plaza, is busy. It's also extraordinarily busy at all times of year it seems. And the drivers in the parking lot can be maniacal. read more

This is my favorite of all the T J Maxx locations!! This one has the whole gigantic homegoods attached to it, and you can just wander right in and it's wonderful. My mission today, however, was to help my friend find some items she was looking for to bring on a cruise she's taking. Specifically- sunglasses and a small purse. For purses, I love this store. You get a mix of styles, brands, & sizes, and they color coordinate the racks! She found a cute one for $16.99 that is everything she will need. The sunglasses selection was also very nice. We found her two pairs for $20 total! This is a great place to find your favorite brands and designers for less! read more

They moved this location from the corner of Sheridan & Niagara Falls Blvd all the way down the Blvd near the Outback Steak House /Tullys/ Target area and let me tell u what a mistake that was. The store is maybe 1/10 of the size now it's claustrophobic in there the home goods part is tiny and everything else is so smooshed together it makes shopping very unenjoyable. The parking lot is always jam packed and much smaller than the other location area it was previously. If I could give 0 stars I would. I highly recommend you just take a ride out ro the tjmaxx on transit. This store on the Blvd is now a headache ready to happen it's so small in there and I willl say that again its not a good fit for that new location the store needs more space read more

I think this TJ Maxx/HomeGoods has by far the best selection of any of the stores around. The staff is also wonderful. If you go early enough after they've put out the merchandise for Rae Dunn (and no, you can't call for this info which is completely fair and understandable since it's against their company policy), you maybe able to get a few cute pieces! I also adore one of the associates! Every single time I go into the store and I'm in the checkout a little earlier in the day and not later in the evening (which is always a goal), I literally cross my fingers when I get called next to the next cashier it'll be Diane! She is an absolute ray of sunshine. She is extremely kind, very knowledgeable, listens to all of her customers (even when I go on little tangents about how excited I get about Rae Dunn being in stock!) and saying she is an asset to the company is an understatement. She is truly a wonderful soul and makes each and every one of her customers feel special. read more

Came in to look for a traveling jewelry case for a bridal shower and spent 2.5 hours here. Mostly because this TJ Maxx is connected to a Home Goods, and you can walk back and forth between stores (they also share cashiers). The store was very well organized, and even though I didn't find what I came in for, I found a lot of cute summer outfits. Associates here were friendly and the register line moved very quickly. I love to shop at stores like TJ Max and Marshalls but I have made a mental note NOT to shop this location!!!! To many times I have been in this store and go to cash out only to be faced with a wait of easily 20+ mins , this is unacceptable in my opinion their is no reason the line should wined all the way from the register down to barricaded impulse aisle pass the cell phone accessories into men's clothing. Many times I have left my items , due to this and at this type of store if you don't get it when you see it. It's gone . read more

On my first (and last!) visit here, I ran across an incredibly rude cashier who insisted that all the prices on the sale items I found were wrong; she basically refused to acknowledge the "Clearance Sale" prices that were clearly posted on the racks. She insisted that I wait at the register for fifteen minutes while she verified the sale prices with not one but TWO managers before she'd check me out. Bottom line: IF YOU DON'T WANT TO CHARGE REALLY LOW PRICES FOR SALE MERCHANDISE, DON'T POST THE LOW PRICES IN PLAIN SIGHT! read more

I love both TJ Maxx and especially HomeGoods but this location is beyond awful. It looks like they've been vandalized it's so chaotic and impossible to navigate. I decided to give them another chance and never again. Other locations are joyful to shop at, this one is under staffed and mismanaged. Also you can plan on spending a very long time in line. Happened upon lots of recently marked down clearance which was a plus, the line I waited in on a summer Tuesday evening took over 30 minutes..... ridiculous. I've only gone here once and it will be my last unfortunately. I found it overwhelming (the women's clothing section) and not organized or clean well at all. No racks drew me in like my local TJ MAXX does and it took me 10 minutes to find the small rack of bathing suit cover ups because everything just kind of mushes together. If you have the patience to go through this, they have A LOT of clothes but I prefer something a little smaller and more organized. read more

This is my favorite TJ Maxx in the Buffy area. A disorganized dirty mess of goodness. The one on Transit Road is a wee bit cleaner, but the selection here RAWKS! So this is the TJ Maxx location I have been shopping at for pretty much my entire life. My mother used to take me here, and I would stock up on tons of cute things! I never really bought things at the mall that often because the prices were so much higher than TJs. It is definitely more work to find something you like, but that is what I feel is thrilling and fun about this store. There are so many items to chose from--many are high quality items/designer names for amazing prices. The last time I went in, they were remodeling. The store feels enormous now. It was not finished yet, and the sound of drilling was making me crazy, but i know it will be worth it when it is finished! It seems to be better organized by department, with more inventory for each! The cash registers now are similar to other Marshall's and TJ's, where everyone forms a line and they call you up. I am sure they'll re-do the fitting rooms too. Very exciting! Make sure you give yourself adequate time to shop if you plan on heading for this TJ's location. It took us hours to explore and shop--with amazing deals left and right! Even if you are not planning on shopping around, that's usually how it ends up. Even my boyfriend likes to shop here (and Marshalls), and find good deals on the men's clothing. read more

I had a pretty good experience minus it was a little warm in the building and a lot clutter want to choose from in a lot of boxes and bins and people in the isles doing what they probably should've done before opening..I had a little issue at the register the cash register lady was very nice the manager came over and she was also very nice young and polite and very nice.I have shopped there before however sometimes I've been in there and it has been a disaster the bathrooms are extremely clean today thank you.All I could say if I could give a word of advice is remove some of the clutter out of your isles it's hard for people to get around some of that stuff especially handicap.Thank you for your assistance at the register register to the young lady and the manager and thank you to the girl who I think is a janitor for your assistance. read more

It's TJ Maxx, and if you don't know what TJ Maxx is ... it's a discount, last-season clothes that didn't sell in regular department stores. The way styles change, last season stuff isn't really a big deal unless you're a super clothes horse. This one is attached to a Homegoods, and they share the same register, so you will find housewares as well as clothes here. It's a decent place for what it is, it's a wonderful place to find bargains. It's a bit chaotically organized though. I went in recently to find a dress, and it took me a very long time to find them. They were tucked way in the back, behind juniors and children's sections. So overall it's an okay place, doesn't stand out from an average chain, though. read more

I went here to start off my Christmas Shopping. I had no idea they had recently remodeled. The store is really organized now and it doesn't feel overwhelming with stock anymore. The selection is so much larger than it has been in the past. There are so many gift items now. There is an aisle with ONLY BASKETS in it! An aisle with ONLY THROW PILLOWS! The recent expansion that they did is a 100% improvement on this store. The gourmet food selection is twice the size now. They seem to have more gift set type items and more home decor too. The women's clothing selection seems smaller that the previous version of the store but there is definitely less crap in it. I will always wish TJ Maxx had more shoes. When I do find a pair that I like here they are always at a good price. read more

This location might be a big one, but it is by far not the best TJMaxx store I've been too! The places seemed a bit disorganized - the great buys seemed to be lacking and the line - a lot of people must not know a good Maxx from a bad one because the line was very long. Though there was plenty of parking and a large selection, we walked out with the smallest of purchases! I did make a trip to the restrooms and found them to be a bit better then most - that's why I'm giving them the three stars! read more

I think Amanda A. did a perfect job of reviewing this store very accurately! In addition, they are still remodeling. With all of the construction, you'll feel like you're walking through a maze just to get inside- but it is so worth it! The only downfall to this store is the lengthy remodeling process. As of last week, the inside shows an open ceiling and there are construction crews everywhere. With that said, the selection here is better than any other TJ Maxx in the area. The best part about this store is its "Home Goods" collection. I moved here from Dallas, where they have free standing Home Goods stores. The Home Goods products are arranged by category, then color. Many of the furniture pieces are "one of a kind" meaning once they sell out, you may never see it again. So my suggestion is if you see something you absolutely love, you better snatch it up before someone else does. Home Goods is an essential store for any interior designer! As far as their clothing, the selection is HUGE. Even plus size has a nice selection. As for men- there's a good selection there too. However, it seems like sizes end at 2x for men. So, I would not recommend this store for the big and tall. All in all, this is one of my favorite stores in the area. If I'm looking for a gift, this is always my first destination because I always find what I'm looking for. Check it out, you won't be disappointed! read more

The new remodel of this store and Home Goods is wonderful! It's spacious, more organized, and obviously new (read not dirty... yet...). As always though, this store gives me sensory overload. There is so much to look at, dig through, and contemplate. Plus, all of the impulse purchases in the line leading up to the registers makes me wonder if I really over turned every opportunity for a bargain! I found a pair of Levi's on clearance for $10. These same jeans would have cost me $70 at a department store, maybe less if I had a coupon. So I'm happy with my find. Can't wait to go back and be bombarded with bargoons! read more

The cashier Maria really was disgustingly rude and upsetting and I had a terrible customer experience. I asked her if I could help with the return process and she was dismissive and then rudely told me I should have returned to another store! I asked to speak to the manager and she told me I didn't need to! She was impatient and horrible and she should be fired!! Never have I ever experienced such repulsive attitude at a TJ Maxx! I am horrified with such behavior! She poorly represents TJ MAXX and is a discriminating and condescending person!! read more

I LOVE the TJ Maxx, Marshalls enterprise. I have found numerous things at various TJ Maxx and Marshalls stores throughout the years. It pains me to buy clothes at other locations now because I know I can find exactly what I want/need or better for cheaper at these stores. Yes you may need to dig and no you can't find the exact same thing, but the exact same brands, exact same trends yes yes and yes! This isn't my most favorite TJ Maxx, being from NYC my favorite one would have to be back home or this one in Fredonia, NY. I've heard other WNYers mention that Fredonia one too LOL Anyways I think the remodel has made the store more visually appealing but I feel like they have less merchandise now. I remember pre-renovation that I could wander the store forever but now not so much? Maybe its just me. I'm still a fan and I do make the drive out here to find some deals. read more

This is the best TJ Max i've been to in Buffalo. They have everything!! If you are an avid shopper that likes to look and touch everything (thats me). You can definetly spend 2-4 hours here. They have so much goodies here and pretty good deals. The line ups here very long but it goes by fast. The store knows and has their full staff on the registers. Very impressed here. This is a great TJ Maxx location simply because of the attachment to Home Goods. I mean you usually want the best of both worlds on your trip to a discount store. I like this location due to the easy parking and large store. Everything is generally very well kept at this location. The racks are neatly aligned and you don't exactly have to go searching too much here. Only gripe is that this spot has less clothing compared to other spots. I haven't really interacted with staff here but at checkout I have no complaints. In summary, go here for your accessories, home goods, random stuff but if you're seeking the best clothing finds another T Maxx may have this one beat. read more

This is the first time I have been back to this TJ Maxx/Home Goods in a while as I didn't realize they did the remodeling and I have to say I am really impressed. It was easy to get around, well organized, lots of different selection. All the staff member were very friendly even when I was browsing through some stuff in the Home Goods section while they were trying to restock. My parents are building a new house and I saw a lot of stuff that would be good for them to decorate as well as lots of basics that were good for me in my apartment. On the TJ Maxx/clothing size, it was clean and you could tell they worked to keep it picked up. There was quite a disparity in availability of sizing. Some sections there were only 5 single items in XL with two whole racks in another size. Just big disparities. Overall, for the traffic they probably get, I was impressed with how well maintained the store was and will go back! read more

I liked the custom jewelry they had in here. That's because they carried some Juicy Couture pieces!! I don't come here too often because I usually end up at the mall.
