I wanted a ring designed for 3 generations of diamonds, my grandmother's, my mother's and mine, to eventually pass down to my daughter. I went in with a design in mind and Frances perfectly created on paper exactly what I envisioned and described. Aaron then created the ring perfectly! It's so beautiful, and I love it!! Everyone there is so sweet, so very good at what they do, they take the time needed to get things just right from design to finished product, and the cost is very reasonable, imo. It's easy to tell they take pride in what they do, as they should because they're all excellent at their job, they're genuinely nice, good people there, and the result of all they provide is an extremely satisfied and overjoyed customer! :-)

I went to several jewelers in the area (GM Pollaks was the worst, I felt like I was on a used car lot with a shady dealer) I learned a lot about what to ask for, what to look for and general pricing levels. I had a loose diamond all selected at one jeweler, but decided to check Day's before making the purchase. I was helped by Amy, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was also very patient with me as I spent almost an hour examining stones and asking questions. I ended up buying a larger, higher clarity, diamond set in a white gold solstice setting for the same cost of a loose stone at another dealer. They've also be very helpful with followup questions, complimentary cleanings, etc. One detracting point, the white gold setting of the ring seems to be yellowing faster than it should. I don't believe it has to do with Day's since I ordered the setting from a catalog. It could also be related to other causes, skin contact, etc. We just had it re-coated with the rhodium. If it does it again in a short period of time we will look at getting it swapped out. One above and beyond highlight, I took my mother along with me to look at rings (which I'm sure made her day), while looking at the rings, my mother examined hers and noted that it was dirty. Amy promptly offered to have the ring cleaned for her while we were there.

I have never experienced such poor customer service as I have with Zales online. When I saw that an…read moreitem I wanted was 15% off I decided to buy it only to see when I went to finalize payment on paypal that the 15% off was gone. I called customer service only to be told that there was not 15% off but if I could screen shot the page Zales would honor the discount. I was told to press a print screen button but my keyboard does not have that button. SO, the phone rep said that I could not use discount. When I wrote a letter to customer service they replied by telling me that I had put the item in my cart when there was a discount which was NOT TRUE.....This was my 3rd issue with Zales customer service. I will never trust Zales and I will certainly NEVER buy from them. Apparently Zales doesn't care about their customers. BUYER BEWARE!
