People in Tucson have the biggest opinions on the internet, word to deads. Sad to see so many gormless or ignorant individuals. Anyway, this lady at selected location,"Shannon" bless her soul, much love for her and her unmatched talent and customer service. Very helpful, unremarkably seraphic, and extremely reliable. Much love for Shannon and her amazing character.

That level of personal service was one of the primary reasons we chose to do business with Vantage West. Unfortunately, beginning sometime last year, the quality of service began to decline. Today it has deteriorated to the point that I no longer look forward to visiting one of your branches. Like most people, I appreciate technology when it makes routine banking more convenient. I have no problem using an ATM to withdraw cash or using online banking for everyday transactions. Technology certainly has its place. The problem arises when customers need services that cannot be provided by a machine. If I need a cashier's check, want to remove myself from my son's checking account, or would like to discuss purchasing a certificate of deposit, I expect to speak with a knowledgeable employee without an unreasonable wait. Those are ordinary banking needs that still require personal service. Instead, it appears that nearly every aspect of banking is being directed toward self-service. While that may reduce operating costs, it also reduces the personal interaction that many customers still value and, in some cases, genuinely need. Recently, I visited the branch at Nexus and Valencia to obtain a cashier's check for a business transaction. I expected to walk to a teller window, request the check, and be on my way. Instead, I found that the teller stations had been replaced by ATMs. I was told to sign in and wait for someone to assist me. I was quoted a wait time of ten to fifteen minutes. There were only a handful of customers in the branch and several employees present, yet after waiting approximately twenty minutes only one customer had been called into an office while the remainder of us continued waiting. I considered withdrawing cash from the ATM instead, but the daily withdrawal limit was well below the amount I needed. Frustrated, I left without accomplishing my business. Two days later, I visited the branch at 22nd Street and Kolb, hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, it was even more disappointing. The employees I encountered were dismissive, defensive, and gave me the impression that helping customers was an inconvenience rather than their primary responsibility. During our conversation, after listening to an explanation of why the current system was supposedly working well, I expressed my frustration by saying, "This is the poorest damn banking service I have ever received." While I admit I was frustrated, the reaction I received only reinforced my belief that customer service is no longer the priority it once was. My concern extends beyond my own experience. Many long-time customers still value personal service. We understand and appreciate technological advances, but technology should enhance customer service--not replace it. There are many situations where customers simply need to speak with another human being. I hope Vantage West will reconsider the direction it is taking. Efficient technology and excellent personal service should complement one another rather than compete. After nearly eight years as a satisfied customer, I would like to believe that Vantage West can once again become the institution that earned my loyalty in the first place.

It took many weeks to get any kind of answers or motion. That should have been my first clue. I became ill, so I excused the delay. Josh reassured me that my business loan would go through, So I sent the $400 fee. I began to realize that nothing was happening, with constant excuses of being in meetings, or out of the office. This is when I demanded that something be done with the loan process to move forward. Joshua called me shortly after to complain to me that he did not feel comfortable doing business with me, because my demand was stressing him out. He offered me a refund. He then went on to tell me about his personal problems, that he cannot handle any more stress. This was by far one of the most unprofessional conversations I've had in this situation. Joshua seemed to exhibit unstable behavior. And as he stated he was overly stressed. I hope he receives help I never did receive a refund, or help with my business loan

Everyone I've interacted with has been friendly and helpful. They recently renovated their lobby so it is extra bright, open, and welcoming...especially with the new automatic sliding door so it is accessible for everyone. This is the only location in Tucson and it also has a 24-hour outdoor ATM and drive-thru windows. They've been around since 1929, so if you would rather keep your money at a not-for-profit institution in your own community (instead of handing it over to giant corporate banks which invest in things that may or may not align with your values)...check out your friendly local credit union!

They have lots of tellers and lots of people who have been there for many years. Overall, I would recommend them highly. The only thing that annoys me, which I am sure exists at almost every Bank or Credit Union. I pay bills automatically. If money isn't there, they charge an exhorbitant fee ($35) for failed transfer. This basically ends up being a poor tax. This last year was hard for me, and the credit union made it a little harder. But it is likely that any other bank or credit union will have the same policy or worse.
