They will take more in "premiums" than the government will for taxes. Lack of transparency. Dishonest practice.

Ahmed is a great guy and gave me excellent service and He was very knowledgeable and very professional

TitleMax gave my father a loan with a $118% rate on it, he's 80 years old and his wife was sick with a brain tumor he borrowed 8,500 dollars the payment is 875.00 dollars a month when he pays it off he will have paid $34,500 interest over 48 months I think Tony Soprano would be ashamed of The Vig on this loan, how can this be legal? Definitely a predatory loan there definitely needs to be somebody regulating this read more

I made a lump sum payment on my loan yesterday . I log back into my account today to pay off the remaining balance only to find they have removed the payment option and add over 4 dollars of interest to my balance . I call the office to find out why the payment option had been removed? Of course they had no answer as to why it was removed . So now I have to wait until the payment option is activated again on my account and each day another $4.00 interest will be added to the balance . Avoid this company they are true con artists in every way imaginable. read more

My elderly mother was scammed by a man online. He needed $3,000 cash to get out of jail. She only had her car to borrow against, so she did. He disappeared after she sent the money. Soon after my mother was hospitalized with dementia. She had no money, on Social Security. We put her in 24/7 care as she could not walk any more. Two family members reached out to Titlemax to purchase her car for the fair reasonable asking price. They have been nothing but SUPER RUDE. We tried to ask them to understand the circumstances. We are not paying $5,000 for a $2500 car. It's like a 2009 Kia 4 door, with 60,000 miles. Seriously, $5,000!!! Some money was better than none. We told them come get the car. They wouldn't come out to the area where the car was to get it. It's been sitting for 2 years in the exact same place. Now, she is dying. We may have an hour, a day. It just makes me so very sad that her little car can't be given to one of her grandchildren. She would want that. So Titlemax you live with what you did and never get the item you loaned money out for to a poor elderly lady who was scammed. Pray on the poor! read more

The General Manager, Alex Landolfo is the consummate professional. There is a TitleMax on every corner but I would travel one hour if needed just to experience the great customer service that Alex delivers. Doing business with Alex is like talking to a friend. I'm extremely disappointed with TitleMax #40289 in Plano, Texas due to the lack of professional behavior with Kale'Ana Grant but I will handle this separately. Despite the unprofessional behavior of Kale'Ana Grant from TitleMax #40289, I will continue to do business with Alex Landolfo. read more

Please don't go to tittlemax for a lone cause they tell you that they will work with you and they act really nice to you until your tittle is in their hands then they turn into monsters.they don't care about their customers and they don't care if you had covid 19 or in my case newmonia.i had newmonia and couldn't work for a week but that didn't matter to tittlemax and I wasn't that late and I was going to have my money in 4 days but that didn't even give me that so I had to come up with my money.Lori will have you to write a review on your first day and she will write the review herself cause she thinks that people want believe us on the second review,For people who does not know you can move your tittle to another tittle place even though tittlemax has your tittle.all you need to do is go to tittlemax and get a copy of your tittle and a paper of your payoff.go to national tittle pawn cause they are the best ones to work with read more

Hi All, I was skeptical at first about doing this, but title max made it super easy and stress free. I would recommend do this if you're in need of cash. A little tip, if you take advantage of taking pics before you go to the store it makes it much easier in the store. LXRPET to get an extra $50 when you open a new account. David read more

I am here to implore everyone reading this. This place will bury you. There is absolutely no reason to charge a person 116% interest on any loan. That is just taking advantage of someone who is in a desperate situation. It is sickening that this is legal. Banks don't even charge this or come close. I would never do this again. read more

STAY AWAY!!!! TURN AROUND!!! Ratting -negative zero stars!! DO NOT TAKE OUT A TITLE LOAN!!! Warning! You are broke now. Imagine being double broke when you have to pay your monthly fee plus interest and possibly a late fee. I advise you to get a loan from a family member or friend before getting a loan through a company like this DO NOT DO IT!!! Hoping this message gets to somebody who is in a vulnerable situation before making a bad decision and taking out a title loan that will potentially affect you way more than not having cash on hand now. They say that they will not report to the credit bureau's however if you do not pay they will report you within 30 days and it will negatively affect your credit. read more

TitleMax really help me out and go above and beyond when I'm bad spot great staff good people working there

Rip Off- I am begging you = do not get a loan from any title loan company. Actually I can only speak for Title Max, but believe they are all the same. You need $1700 but your car is worth $15000 and paid off. They tell you that you are better off borrowing $10000 even if you pay it back the following day. LIE! If you are a day late they will have someone come and tow your car, even when you talked to them and told them why. They tell you they won't take a check or credit card, just cash certified checks or money orders. They won't take a debit card over the phone. I was out of state with a sick parent and did Bill pay having my bank fed ex them title max accepted those checks. However, they did hold the first two for one week, the third for 6 weeks. This allowed them to accrue more interest! Interest is slightly over 108% APR the daily interest rate is over 29%! If you take out a loan for 10k and pay it off in 6 months it will cost you over $5000. Do Not do this! Pay anyone else 30% they can't make that investing now so if you are a good risk, you should be able to borrow the funds. DONT GO TO ANY TITLE MAX! I am not saying the people are bad, but the company makes them do the job and follow horrible rules. read more
