I usually go to solo techs because they take better care and do more detailed work, but I really had to get my gel x removed because it was really bugging me. I came in here. They used a grinder on the same parts of my nail over and over. I was a little skeptical, but it's a nail salon so maybe it was ok? My nails felt WAY thinner afterwards. 3 of them broke/chipped within minutes of leaving because I was going through my purse. I really wished I took a picture. I went to get my nails done somewhere else and the nail tech noticed right away that I had some redness. It hurt when she used a grinder on a light setting which only shows how sensitive my nails were. The heat spikes were INTENSE on me which normally, wouldn't be that bad. All I came for was for a removal and to have my natural nails again, but they were pretty damaged. read more

I can only comment about waxing (not nails). Their wax is so hot, that my eyelids were burnt on 2 different occasions. Yes, I was dumb to keep coming back because Titanic Nails is a very convenient location for me (I go to Stater Brothers all the time for groceries). On the last occasion, I made sure they triple checked their wax that it wasn't too hot. But, they gouged my eyelids with the tweezers (see photo) after waxing my eyebrows. read more

I have been admiring everyone's beautiful nails and TODAY, I went to John at Titanic Nails armed with a photo with a "fresh (to me) nail look" and MY nails look even BETTER than the photo!!! I received an education of the creation of the ombrè application/style. John is an incredible professional and AMAZING (nail) artist! After viewing the photo, he mixed a number of powders to create the exact color, adhered a NEW, FULL SET of tips, applied the ombrè powder, filed, sculpted, buffed, and completed the look with gel. Edit to say they called me back to try to fix them. No one explained that I needed a new set or these things would happen. My regular nail lady would just do what I needed and charge me. I do appreciate the owner reaching out and having me come back to redo my nails and replace my thumbs. Owner is very sweet and very much cares about her business . the older women however isn't very pleasant. Came here for the first time because my mother in law comes here. I asked for a fill and color change. They charged me $45 for the design and fill. I went back to try to get everything fixed and she start say it was my fault that I wanted a fill and it a whole new set. Then said I couldn't have a refund on my nails. Another coworker said she would out a full set on for me but I would have to wait until she was done with the women she was helping now. I call before and asked if there was time for me to come, they said right now. The women who also did my nails was really upset that I was there to get them fixed. No stars for the poor excuse of a nail salon. My first and last visit. I walked In without an appointment. I was assigned to Tammy. I choose the $42 pedicure which included callus removal, 10 minute leg massage, hot towel, paraffin wax. All sounded great, however is lacked the wow factor! What upset me the most is that buffing the nails is an EXTRA charge! This should be included in the normal pedicure. That's a shame!! Stay away from this rip off place!!! read more

They served me coconut cookies and a choice of a free beverage ( I picked the mimosa) which I can't complain, it was pretty good! I hadn't been here in a good while (I'm someone who does my own nails all the time so actually decided to treat myself for once). I had gotten them done literally a month before the quarantine and lemme just say they came out sooo cute. I just got a simple gel mani on my natural nails & they lasted for a good while without chipping or lifting. I come here often enough to be frustrated that each time I come I make an appt and each time I come I have to wait 20 to 40 minutes past my appt time for my service. There is no point in making a reservation here. They were about to start me then the lady next to me asked if she could add her daughter and they had me wait .
