My sister and I had reservations for this museum, but it was closed due to a snowstorm. Luckily, it reopened the next day and we were able to attend. Titanic Museum Attraction is a ship shaped museum featuring over 400 artifacts from the real ship and offers a very interactive experience. You can walk the Grand Staircase and even touch 28 degree water, which was freezing cold. Upon entering visitors receive a boarding pass from a real passenger and follow their personal story while exploring galleries filled with authentic items and learning about the ship's construction, sinking, and the lives of those aboard. It took us about two hours to explore everything. A beautiful museum suitable for all ages and definitely worth visiting.

If you like the history and story behind the Titanic, this place is worth a visit. It's different than a lot of the other museums. Maybe it's the documentary style of telling the story and the access to artifacts, but make this feel different. Lots of historical pieces to view and a well produced tour within make this a word they stop on your trip to the Smokies.

Family Christmas vacation and this is an amazing place to visit. The replica of the titanic was fantastic. The tour inside makes you feel you are on the boat, it is truly a great experience, if you are in the area this place is a must. There is plenty of free parking on the premises. Have to say you need to get the tickets days before to guarantee the entrance. Amazing place have fun.

First time was visiting from Loris, loved it great history and friendly atmosphere and great hospitality. Can't wait to see it again

Great for all ages! Very personal experience featuring actual people with real stories of their voyage, real letters, real things found, you can feel the water and how cold it was, try to steer the ship away from the iceberg (they only had 37sec warning), it had a part where you can see how tilted the ship was while it sank. The staff was super knowledgeable, they answered any questions. Super cool experience! Our 12 year old and 6 year old were just as entertained as us

Finally made it aboard the Titanic toting a group of little history buffs! There were so many well preserved artifacts within the museum and much to read along your journey. Every passenger is given a boarding pass with the name of an actual passenger of that fateful journey...upon conclusion of the journey through, you will see whether your passenger survived or not. It's a lot to see and read...that being said you can get bogged down in here with people huddled around certain items, seemingly unable or unwilling to move along, which will create quite the traffic jam, so definitely plan 2 hours here. Also, I think guided tours are offered at certain times...I would highly encourage such if offered.

My family and I visited this museum about three years ago. Still one of my all-time favorite places to go. When you walk in they give you little passports and at the end of your visit, you can find out if the person on your card survives. All of the Furnishings and items on display are just amazing! Only sad thing is at the time that we visited. They didn't allow pictures inside on the staircase.

Overall it's a good attraction but it's definitely more for the adults who have the desire and patience to read everything than the little kids. It's not incredibly interactive so my 11 year old niece enjoyed it "enough" but didn't have as much fun as some of the interactive museums we went to. It's done very professionally, tastefully and beautifully. Staff were kind and helpful overall. Seems a tad bit expensive, but it was not out of the ordinary for PF.

What a great experience. You learn details about the titanic and the passengers. You become an actual passenger too. My 5 year old loved learning about it. There's a lot for them to touch as well.

We just went to the Titanic Museum two days ago and was surprised to see the great reviews based on our experience. We are military so we waited to purchase tickets until we arrived so we could get our discount. There's a small sign in the ice cream shop window telling you to purchase tickets inside. We missed that and an employee at the museum had to direct us to the sundae shop. Adult tickets were $39.99/adult and kids were $14.99. I believe military discount took $5 off each ticket. As we entered the line, each of us was assigned a passenger. I was given an adult woman, my mother was given a child, and my 4 kids were each assigned a child. The artifacts and information were very neat to check out. It was interesting to see the special dishes for the Jewish passengers and I learned that there were dogs on board. Having read and watched a lot on Titanic, I didn't feel like I learned anything new, aside from the dogs being on board. There were indicators that an audio tour was once available, but we didn't see this being offered at all. I'm sure that would've made the experience better. Overall, we felt like it was very overpriced for the value of the experience. My older two kids enjoyed the experience and putting their hands in the water. It was a one and done for us though.

A must see in Pigeon Forge. I personally loved the boarding passes you receive upon entering the titanic. These resemble the passengers who were on the ship and you had to follow your path to find out what happened on your journey on the Titanic. A lot of information and historical content. A lot of somber reflection. There is an interactive area where a part of the ship is "sinking" at different angles, to give an idea of how steep the incline of trying to hold onto the ship was. An area where you can put your hand in a stream of water resembles the temperature when the boat sank. Feeling the water at such a low temperature is a very heavy hearted experience

We initially got tickets for the Titanic Museum in Pigeon Forge because the weather forecast for this day was supposed to be rainy for our trip there. When the day actually arrived, the weather was actually quite warm. I have to give them credit as we were not able to make our initially arrival time; we gave them a call and was able to reschedule us for a later show time. Getting into the parking lot was a bit of a headache with the insane traffic on the parkway. Once we got in the parking lot though, finding a spot was a breeze. You just line up, they take some pictures for souvenirs and hand you character cards. These are actual profiles of people that were on the Titanic so it does make you feel like you played a role in the story. My lovely partner for this trip got Charlotte Wardle Cardeza, one of the richest ladies on the Titanic. I got a 3rd class 11 year old Syrian boy by the name of Husayn Mahmūd Husayn Ibrāh īm: he didn't survive. In any case, the first floor of the exhibit is a no photography floor and covered a lot of the historic facts and timelines of the trip. There are some actual pieces that were brought up from the Titanic including flatware and menus. You start to be able to take pictures once you go up the grand staircase. From there you start off with the 1st class exhibit where you can find the fancy clothes and higher end quarters. The 3rd class quarters was pretty cramped and was definitely another world from the 1st class. There is a display from the captain's bridge, the atmosphere on the deck when the iceberg was spotted including the freezing temperature. You then run into the wall of passengers where a staff member can fins the name of the card you got at the beginning and give you a little history of your character. You get a full room display of the movie towards the end that can be a bit nostalgic. Once you are done, you exit into a gift shop where you can get a bunch of souvenirs. Overall, the museum was a bit interesting. Taking pictures was a bit difficult with the number of people walking around, but it is possible to get a few quick shots. If you are interested in the Titanic, you may just enjoy this museum. There's also an ice cream shop next door if you are in the mood for a treat.

Is it cold inside? Like what is the temperature in the tour

Yes it was little chilly I thought.

How is this different than the one in Branson, MO?

Actually it is located at 2134 Parkway in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee!

Is there photography allowed in this Muesum?

Unfortunately, no. I was disappointed with that. They tell you upfront that no photography is allowed, but when we got to the Titanic replica that was made of LEGOs, there was a sign that said you could take pictures of it. I still highly recommend… Read more

How long roughly would you spend in museum?

Depends on you. We took about 1-1 1/2 hr. There is an audio that is played in every room, and lots of items to see. It's very nice!!

    Is there free parking?

    Hey, Lauren! Parking is free.

Can you eat here or is there a time of year?

You can't, but there is a Hatfield and McCoy dinner theater across the parking lot (but I think you have to drive to Music Rd). I heard it was a good show but we didn't have time. There are also a few restaurants on Parkway if you want to see what's… Read more

Do I have to reserve a ticket or can I buy them at the entrance?

You can purchase them at the door, but our resort offered tickets at a reduced rate.

    How much are the tickets?

I think adult tickets were around $30, but they should be cheaper online.

How much is a child's admission?

Ages 5 - 11 are $13 online. I don't know how much it would be for kids if you buy them in person. It looks like buying online saves a little money.

I was worried that there wouldn't be any new exhibits but I was surprised and happy to find the opposite to be true. They have definitely expanded and updated since my last visit. If you enjoy true crime and/or history this is a great spot to visit. On the crime side of things they have a wide range of crimes-not just serial killers or murder. (They do have a Ted Bundy VW beetle and 2 John Wayne Gacy clown costumes on display). They also have areas for financial crimes, etc. History wise they start off in medieval era, then the Wild West, mafia to present day. Nice exhibit on 911. The rooms are designed to be progressive thru the years (the Middle Ages were messed up!!!). So the pacing is well thought. We went in the off season and it wasn't crowded. A great place to go on a "weather" day. As a side note, the staff made a point of stating that all but four display items were authentic and not recreations.

We stopped by to see this place and this review is a combination of his opinion from a aviator perspective and my overall value and customer service. My biggest issue was that the promoted a "military" discount that doesn't include military spouses/dependents. It's up to the business if they want to offer a military discount but if they are going to only apply it to active duty service members then say that. I don't think it was a good value personally to pay 23$ to walk around a tiny hanger. I was also under the impression that there would be people to like talk to you about exhibits, answer questions and just overall engage with people on the topic. That is not the case, at least from our experience. Thankful my husband as a lot of aviation history knowledge and that made it engaging and enjoyable for me to know and learn about what I'm paying to see. Didn't help that the cashier made me feel terrible about asking why our total was 23$ rather than the like 16$ it should have been because I had thought the military discount would apply to both of us. Anyway, the point is I I don't think this place was worth the price and really lacks good customer service or really any customer interaction. My husbands opinion was that the exhibits seems haphazardly put together. It seemed like a hanger full of whatever planes they could get there hands on. It doesn't measure up to the other places we've been to. He did enjoyed seeing the two P-47s Warbirds and the Hollywood Exhibit with the list of movies that some of the aircraft were used in as props. Overall he says that it's not a must see for aviation buffs or enthusiasts just a good way to kill time.

What a MADHOUSE! We bought the premium tickets online, never offered the VIP. We came here at 7pm,…read morebecause the email said regular tickets come 730, VIP comes at 7. Unsure we came at 7 they said pick tickets up 720, we returned 2 lines, the only sign saying prepaid tickets proceed through scanners. Went through scanner, nope VIPs only. The security directed us to the long line that wraps half around the building. It's frustrating and we weren't the only ones to experience this. Once in line, you proceed through the metal detector, past security, there is a booth, where the employees ask your name. Once you provide it, they hand you tickets, and you proceed to the photo area. The staff takes your photos to sell to you later during the show. Before getting to the show and seating, you stay in an area where there is a 3 person band playing, and signing. They do country, as well as some classic rock. The band themselves were very good, and got the crowd to participate in their show, calling out where they are from, and being overall interactive. While in the area, they sell refreshments, alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages, popcorn, glasses and so on. At approximately 820pm, the staff directs you upstairs to proceed through the red curtains into the seating. If you buy regular tickets your in rows 4+ going up. These seats provide an overall better view of the arena, it's not so high you can't see, maybe 10 rows to top? The premium seats are first 3 rows, if you have small children who want to be more interactive in the show and have a better view I would recommend these seats. Our waiter Tim, was a great guy, funny, and attentive to needs. The dinner, was served, starting with a roll, vegetable soup. Next came the Cornish game hen, then mashed potatoes, corn on cob and brisket. Overall the food was good, and lots of it! You get your own mini rotisserie chicken, and 1 scoop of each of the other. Before the show starts you pick your desert, our options were apple crisp, or chocolate coconut cake. We got the crips, which came to us hot, and delicious. You can order drinks from the scan code at the table, or the waiter will come by pre show and ask what you would like to drink. Options were coke products, tea (sweet and unsweetened) lemonade, and water. Moving into the show, so first and foremost, i haven't been to a lot of dinner shows. This one however was great, they had horsemanship, races, competitions and more. Once the show begins the show master, begins by amping up the crowd, 1 side is the north, 1 side the south, they have friendly competitions for both sides during the show. They have you cheer on your team, as they race around obstacles, pick up flags and return the competing against the other side. They also do pig races, where you cheer on the north or south, overall I believe there is 10-11 completions, all fun, and gets you amped up. During the competitions they will bring out people from the crowd (2-3 times) and have them participate in the games, and also a little wagon magic tricks. Besides the completion thy putting shows such as riding horses through and around obstacles, a butterfly show (horses with wings, lights and people acting as butterfly's). They also have some aerial displays and parts of the show. Overall a fun experience minus the mass confusion at the beginning, would recommend going especially if you have children. You won't leave hungry, the food I would say is worth it, the show is worth seeing. Things worth noting, it is a little expensive, tickets for 2 can be north of $100, the drinks, for 2 plastic mason jar alcohol drinks with tip $50+. Be prepared to spend a little. 2 show times, 6 pm, and 830pm.

The servers work super hard carrying trays of food, serving you and refilling drinks. You are deemed either North or South based on where you are sitting around the arena.
