Very dated. It shows wear and tear and is really dirty. Carpet is filthy and bathrooms have grunge around fixtures and partitions. Staff is nice but the sound is poor and quality of picture was grainy. It was very cold in the theatre. Not sure we would go back. Price was fair. read more

Probably the worst movie theatre I've visited. Staff is never friendly and today gave cold popcorn- renewed it but chose to talk about me after. Seats are all ripped up and there's tape all over them- not maintained at all. Just drive the extra 30 minutes to Knoxville- not worth your money. We decided to watch a movie on our last day of our vacation in Sevierville and we decided to come to Governor's Crossing. It was a great experience and we felt that the seats were roomier than other movie theaters with reclining seats. My favorite part of our experience is that they had drink stations and we were able to get our own drinks. This saved time and we were able to seat our movie on time. The facility was clean, including the restrooms. The matinee prices were reasonable as well. We had a great experience in this movie theaters and we will return the next time we are in town. read more

I didn't expect this quality of theatre in such a small town. There is plenty of parking and it is easily accessed from the two main roads through town. They have stadium seating that recline much like you fun at those super expensive VIP ones but at an affordable price. Purchased the tickets online and it was super easy to get in. This location has some neat features that you don't find in most theaters. They have self serve icee and popcorn butter. They have a selection of flavors to sprinkle on your popcorn for a little added kick. The concession prices are a little higher than other places but overall it is worth it. read more

I really love this movie theater, everybody is just so nice and friendly, these kind of places need to be everywhere. First of all the place is super nice, you can buy your tickets and your popcorn at the same time, so no double lining up, prices are not bad at all, they have good deals for packages with drinks, popcorn and candy, and that is a plus for sure. Then you get to the showing room and the screen is big, and the seats are super comfortable, you can recline them and the amount of space is just amazing, seriously super comfy, bring your own blanket lol. I don't know why I love this place! It's overly simple and a little underwhelming but I think the world needs a little of that in movie theaters these days. If you don't look it up you will easily miss it but there are pretty decent reclining chairs as the only thought that goes through my mind is there probably not cleaned regularly and they make a lot of squeaking noise getting it to the right position. Once you're past that Landmark though you have a pretty comfortable ride and easy viewing. Don't get too close to the front row in the upper deck as the railing might interfere with your viewing experience if you lay back too much. You had my precaution now go have fun. This was one of the best theatre experiences I have had in a while!!!! Me and some friends wanted to see the movie "Get Out" so we decided to look up movie theaters in Pigeon Forge and found this one only 7 minutes from our cabin. It's a little tucked behind some main streets, so you won't see it simply driving on the main strip. Anyhoo, we got to this place and it was very clean and the snacks, drinks and popcorn was so inexpensive- I also loved the fact that you can choose what salt you want on your popcorn! Like butter, regulars and kettle corn!!!! Super cool. The best thing about this place were the reclining chairs!!! It was a perfect way to spend our Thursday night on vacation! If I had time, I would have come here once a day to watch a movie!!! Totally worth it. I will be coming back here EVERYtime we come to Pigeon Forge!!! read more

I was recently in Pigeon Forge for a Thanksgiving trip and tradition is for us to see a movie. I was excited to find this movie theatre in the area. First, I want to say that I love the prices. Their night ticket prices were cheaper than a matinee ticket in Atlanta. I wish I could take their prices back home with me. It was weird because there were no ticket booths outside. I was confused on if I was standing in the concession or ticket purchase line. To clarify for the rest of the confused individuals out there, it is one line. It's a cool concept because you can buy your ticket, choose your seat, and get food all at once. The only reason I am giving them four stars is due to the seats. They were not comfortable at all. If I'm sitting watching a two hour movie I need to get comfortable. Also, our theatre made me feel like the theatre used to be a laser tag place with the bright colors and design. read more

Second time here for me, first time I came they still had Construction going on and you could hear Them hammering and drilling all through the movie. Waited 25 in the WRONG theater... The Pleather seats were nice however the leg rest needed more padding, the theater was very clean and welcoming! Wonderful surprise Dr. Pepper Icee! My family and I have been here before with no issues. Only on this one occasion did I find myself disappointed. Do be aware that if you end up in the bottom part of the stadium seating, the first 3 rows, that you will not have recliner seating as the rest of the theater will have. But you will still pay the recliner seating price. And do remember to choose your seat online before going during the busy season (never had that issue previously, guess we just got lucky this time). Cashier was rude and acted as if she had other things to do, with no one in line behind us. Looking all around like she couldn't be bothered. Positives: fix your own drink (Pepsi products), butter your own popcorn, quite a few choices of flavored popcorn shakers available. Clean bathrooms with numerous stalls. read more

While the idea of recliners at a movie is a great one, they weren't all that comfortable. You can't control the leg portion without also moving the head, so by the time your legs are good you're practically laying down! Also in the middle of the movie I bumped the button with my leg and started moving. It might be better if there was a lock option to prevent this. The theater itself was very nice and clean and I did love the leg room that the recliners provided but they weren't anymore comfortable than any other theater. I appreciated that the ticket prices weren't inflated to go along with these special seats. It was $6.50 for any movie before 6 pm and $9 afterwards. read more

Preface: Normally I'd give you a 5 star, but inconsistencies in the customer service really bug me. The facilities are top notch, and unlike any other cinema in the area. Probably tired of hearing from me by now. I've had such mixed experiences with this place I can't help but to pass along the word in hopes that the general manager will see them. Showed up late to a 9:55 showing on Sunday night (@10:15), so 8 to 10 minutes of trailers means I was missing 10 minutes or so of the movie. Doors locked. Young dark-haired Guy in a red oxford opened the door after about 5 minutes of me knocking trying to get someone's attention. Told me the POS system was already off and the drawers were counted, so they couldn't let me buy a ticket. He was very polite. Believe me, I know I'm a pretty sad case having to come watch a horrible remake of Point Break by myself on a cold, late night to ease the pain of existence, but really......you couldn't sell me a ticket or just take my cash? read more

I loved it. But they have horrible customer service. Their site was acting up and I had hit the right day I was going to see a movie and it sent me to a different site. But I was under the impression that I was getting the tickets for the day I wanted. Then I got there and I had accidentally set them up for yesterday. So I wanted a refund so I can get the right tickets. The manager was the rudest person I have ever met. He wouldn't give me a refund for a movie I didn't see. So they took my money. For no reason I paid $40 for nothing. I am furious. I didn't put up a fight. It's not worth it. But I will never put anymore money into this place. That's one thing I do not put up with is horrible customer service. I put well over a 300 dollar into this place in just movies. And they can't give me one simple refund for something I didn't even get to enjoy. read more

This theater was amazing for so many reasons. 1.... shows before 1:00 = $5... $5!! Now that's a great deal! Then the combo deals were good prices and all the drinks regardless of size come with free refills! And the machines are out in the open room so you get them yourself and don't have to wait again in line?! Another plus!! During the movie I went to get refills and I was back in 2 minutes and didn't miss any of the movie! Another plus... Icee's are the same price as other drinks!! Ohhhhhh Yeah!
