Loved our visit to pirates voyage!! Our food was amazing! Definitely worth getting good seats if you know your kids will eat their food! Fried chicken was so juicy and delicious! I'm not a fried chicken girly but my plate at this dinner show really hit the spot. Dessert was great too! Our server Abi was attentive and great all around! Our friend got to even be in the show!

We had a fantastic time! JT was our server and was very helpful and fast. This was our first time going to the show and I enjoyed EVERY MINUTE. The tricks and choreo were fantastic the whole ensemble were great to watch. We went to the last show of the night and it was hype. Food was better than I expected, hot juicy and fast!

Booking & Entry Experience: This experience was a lot to unpack. When booking, we were told to arrive at 6:30 PM for the 8:30 show, but once we got there, the security guard told us we couldn't enter until 7:30 because an earlier show was still finishing. When we explained what we'd been told, he scoffed and acted like we were being ridiculous. We said we'd wait in line so we wouldn't miss the face painting, and he basically laughed and said, "You're really going to wait here?"--like we were wasting his time. Within 10 minutes, a line started forming behind us--so no, we weren't the only ones trying to be early. But from the start, the security guard gave off the vibe of being on a power trip. He kept yelling out loud directions, calling VIPs forward, and telling everyone how the metal detector process would go. When it was my turn and I set off the detector, I stopped to follow what he'd been shouting for the past hour about needing to check anyone who set it off--and instead, he snapped at me to "move along" multiple times. I stood there confused, like wait, aren't you the one who said you needed to check us? It just felt like he wanted control but no accountability, and it made the whole entry process way more stressful than it needed to be. Check-in Process: When they finally opened the doors, we were told to line up on the right for check-in--then had to push through a crowd to get in another line on the left to actually go inside. VIPs were let in first for photos while general admission waited (and waited). Lots of line-cutting, no one managing it, and no staff helping guide people to where they were supposed to be. Pre-Show Area & Face Painting: Inside, the waiting area was packed and cramped. Bar lines stretched all the way to the entrance, and the restrooms had only 3-4 stalls, so lines were out the door before the show even started. The face painting station was a mess, with no clear line and only three artists, one of whom was also doing checkout. But once we got to the front, the designs were adorable, and each child got a matching flag or accessory--my daughter got a tiara for her mermaid design, which she loved. Ordering Extra Items: There's a QR code at your seat to order extra drinks or bar items, but it doesn't work until the show starts--and cell service inside is terrible, so good luck with that unless you're on Wi-Fi (which no one offered info for). The Show: Now, once the show started, everything changed. It was fantastic. The stunts, aerial work, diving, and synchronized movement were nonstop and very physically demanding--you could really tell how hard the cast worked to pull it off. Kids from the audience were even invited to participate, which added a sweet, personal touch. As a mom of ballet and gymnastics kids, I was blown away by the timing, coordination, and athleticism. Food & Service: The food was decent--not amazing, but more than enough for the price, and allergy accommodations were handled perfectly. Shout-out to TYLER, our server, who truly went above and beyond. Friendly, fast, and completely on top of things--including making sure our dairy-free meals were correct. Even though I was seated next to all the pitchers (which made things awkward at first), Tyler handled it like a pro and made sure everything went smoothly. Exit & Restrooms: Leaving was another pain point. The bathroom line after the show was horrendous, again due to limited stalls. It's something they really need to improve for such a large-capacity venue. Bottom Line: The show is outstanding and the performers are incredibly talented. But entry was a mess, the security guard created more tension than safety, and the pre-show logistics were chaotic and stressful. If you go, arrive early, lower your expectations for organization, and just know the actual show is worth hanging in there for--especially if you get lucky with a great server like Tyler.

Great experience! The server-Dave--was so friendly, and all of the food was good! The show itself was an absolute spectacle all throughout, and featured all sorts of stunts, aerobics, acrobatics, and animal tricks. It was so fun for all ages. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the odd lady that came to sell us our picture was really rude and said "Yikes" when we said we were from GA... Other than that, this was great and I'd definitely come back!

The food was surprisingly really good. It was a large amount and you won't leave hungry. We got a choice between desserts: chocolate cake with coconut on top or an apple turnover. I got the apple turnover and it was flaky and warm. The show itself is very fun! The acrobatics were awesome and the animals added a nice touch. There was never a point where I found myself bored. The service was good and our server made little jokes here and there.

After a long drive in from Nashville, my stunning partner and I decided to catch a dinner and show at the Pirates Voyage. If you are from Southern California, you likely know of Midevil Times, but instead of knights, you get a two teams of pirates. We opted for the premium seats, but honestly, we didn't see too much of a difference from the seats behind us. The staff was polite, and helped guide us to our section. Once seated, the server for your area will greet you, get your drink and dessert orders, and you'll wait for the show to start. You'll get your drinks in mason jars and your soup in a soup mug? The biscuit paired with the creamy vegetable soup nicely, but don't expect anything extraordinary for this meal. Everything is at the level of a primary school cafeteria, just so you know what to expect. The fried chicken breast had almost zero flavor and the crispy breading was a bit soft. If not for the creamy veggie soup for me to dip the chicken into, I don't think I would have been able to finished my piece. My lovely dinner date took one bite and that was it. The ham was decent, but the corn on the cob and the mac and cheese were sub par. We ordered different desserts so we can try each of them, but those were also a disappointment. The chocolate coconut cake had the texture of a dish washing sponge, and the flavor was lacking. The apple turnover had an expected Apple cinnamon flavor, but the pastry wasn't particularly flaky. The show was somewhat entertaining, with a lot of singing, acrobatics, some friendly competition between the crimson and sapphire pirate teams, and a sea lion or two. I can see how this kind of dinner and show can be entertaining for a family with young kids. I don't know if I can recommend this dinner for adults though.

Stadium seating. Very close quarters. Bumping elbows at the tables.

I'm giving the show 4 stars. The food was good. Fried chicken, ham, biscuit, creamy vegetable soup, Mac and cheese, corn on the cob and an Apple turnover. They take your picture as you're walking in BUT, if you want to buy the picture, it's $45. Without the little envelope frame, it's $35. We loved our pictures but not enough to pay them $45 for it. That's ridiculous! It's pretty much a 1 and done. We've seen it and enjoyed it but, not a "must see" again type thing.

It was an amazing time. From the gift shop to the acrobatics. The food was super tasty and the sea lions seem like they are paid well. An overall great experience. Even as an adult.

Enjoyed the dinner and show, highlights included watching buccaneers dance on poles and getting blinded several times. An angry tropical man set water on fire. The chicken was very good and I contracted scurvy. The bathrooms were haunted. Overall, I give this one a 5 out of 5.

I visited Pirates Voyage when I was in Pigeon Forge 2 weeks ago. I was with my family and I made sure that we booked this dinner show in advance as I wanted to see a Dolly Parton show and this was the best one I found out there although there are other Dolly Parton shows. They have a really large parking lot so you won't have any issues with parking. We arrived a bit early, so we had to hang out outside for a little bit, which was hot lol. Getting in was a breeze. Once you enter, there's a bar that offers specialty drinks in a special mug if you want. We decided to have a pre drink before the show, so we got the special skull mugs they have which was pretty cool. I got one of their colada drinks, which was decent and refreshing. The drinks were okay, nothing crazy. We did upgrade our seats, which ended up with us seating at the very front middle section. Once our whole section was seated, our server came right up and took care of us. He got us our drinks, and the show started. Food (5/5)- Please do not expect a high end food as this is not that type of place. The food was really good and the best dish they had was the fried chicken. Not only was it a good portion, it was cooked right and very tasty. I enjoyed my whole plate. The bread and soup, the mac and cheese, were all really good. Show (5/5)- very entertaining. The performers were amazing and stuck to their roles throughout the show. They brought kids on stage to interact with the performers and animals. They also have a souvenir shop inside the building. This was all in all an amazing experience. I believe any sit you choose has a good view. This was definitely worth the price.

I visited the pirates voyage dinner show in August 2024 it was mesmerizing. The ticket says to arrive at 6 but the doors open at 5:40, you can get there as early as 5. I arrived at 5. On the inside lobby there are themed merchandise items for purchase, and multiple games that you can play with your family, I highly suggest you arrive early to enjoy the experience. The show itself lasted 1 and a half hours take or give a few minutes. I'm not gonna spoil what the show consists of. I went with my mom and I am 23 and we both enjoyed it. If you have kids this would be a great show! There was a lot of action, a good storyline, and the cast were very talented. I would suggest getting tables on the left or right side. We were seated in Section D row seven, which appears to be the center but the show is geared for the red and the blue teams on the left and right! They serve food during the show, chicken breast, ham, a cream vegetable soup, corn on the cob, mac & cheese and a bread. You have two choices for dessert. The food was very tasty, but just be advised that you do not have a knife if you need to cut the corn. I definitely suggest this experience for you and your family! If you have little kids that have sensitive hearing, there are Flash bangs that are used during the show which could be slightly disturbing for the kids, but those are mostly utilized at the end of the show.

Such a great atmosphere. Insanely impressive actors and really great food. The water in the middle was so cool with people walking the plank

Ask the Community - Pirates Voyage

Is it worth it to buy tickets online instead of at the location/city? I've been told there are coupons for the dinner shows at various locations in Pigeon Forge. I don't know if I want to wait to buy tickets, especially if there's no savings.

No savings on line. But if you're going on a weekend, you may want to be sure tickets are available and get them beforehand.

Is this show appropriate for preschoolers?

I would think not. That's a bit young for this show.

    Do you need reservations?

    Yes

There were A LOT of people there though, so there wasn't much social distancing going on. Like a previous review said, in the gym, there was a black fabric on the bleachers creating space, but it didn't do much for social distancing to be honest. People were sitting all on top of one another. So, I went upstairs and distanced myself. The food was GROSS!! The cafe opened at 10 am & we were starving. We purchased a cheeseburger combo with fries and a Gatorade along with chicken strips. The food LOOKED good, but it definitely didn't taste good. The chicken strips were HARD AS ROCKS & cold. The fries were cold too. Later, we tried pizza hoping it would be better & the crust was hard and dry. I don't expect a 5-star meal. I just expect their expensive food to be edible. We were there all day & I didn't have any issues outside of the food. There was also a Kona Ice vendor & a flavored-nut vendor there too. My son enjoyed the Kona Ice & the prices were reasonable based on size.

Parking is insane, like most college campus stadiums. The seats are packed in so closely that people trying to get to the aisle to visit the loo, or enjoy a short and fast line at the concessions, must get pretty intimate with their seat neighbors. The upper deck is brutal. Miss me with those tickets! If you can get just under the overhang, though, you can have shelter from the elements even if you have an obstructed view. There are, literally, seats placed behind huge concrete supports and I've had tickets there. Had to laugh. Despite all of that, it's amazing.
