Located next to Kung Fu Tea, Titan Cigar is a dark, mysterious, and rather sophisticated spot to puff-puff on the finest stogies and accompany them with the finest alcoholic beverages. I, myself do not indulge in cigars, but I have friends who enjoy them. I came in on this day to purchase a few for a gift. I was greeted by Taylor and she was truly a lifesaver. I can tell she really enjoys her job because she gave me a thorough explanation of the origin, history, flavors, and what partners well with specific cigars. Her assistance was most appreciated. Titan has a wide variety of cigars to choose from, as well as beverages to pair with them. After my history lesson and browsing around this unique cigar bar, I can absolutely see myself coming back here for future gifts. Visited Titan Cigar Lounge & Shop while hosting a friend and left a bit underwhelmed. It seems more like a neighborhood or members-only lounge, as the space for regular guests felt very small. There's also an outdoor patio, but since it's winter, that's hit or miss. They don't offer flavored cigars, which was a bummer, but we tried what was available to support and the prices were reasonable. The cigar had a great pull, though the aftertaste wasn't great. That said, the space was cute and the staff was very nice. Glad we tried it, but it's probably not a must-return for me. read more

Our initial s erver was GREAT. I wish I knew his name but it escapes me at the moment. We are all wrapping up to leave and have one last good convo about sports. Some guy who I have never seen since I've been going to Titan comes out from the back and says, "Hey respect our people out front, this isn't (another cigar lounge in the area). We were confused at first as we were not loud and the convo was conducive of a cigar lounge and respectful. The first guy started packing up and said the guy killed the vibe and said he was not coming back. I followed suit as I have never experienced these actions before when I have gone there. There were some first timers in the group as well who seemed offended. Needless to say this was a bad first impression. I don't know if the guy was related to the owner or what but surely his actions lost some customers. Very bad experience...equivalent to be being hushed in a library...but it's a cigar lounge. . If I cared enough I would find out his name but I don't care enough to do all that research...just taking my business to another lounge in the already crowded cigar lounge business. So, I have been looking for a spot to chill relax and have a cigar, and let say I think I have found said spot. This place is quaint and low key. It's not too far from where I live and more importantly they carry the brands of cigars I typically smoke. It was not crowded and the patrons that were present were very welcoming. If you walk too fast you'll walk right past Titan Cigar. It's located right next to Zu Coffee in the Waugh Chapel shopping area. Outdoor seating is available if you want to bask in the sun/shade as you enjoy your stogie. I've seen different flyers for the various events they've put on but finally went in with a friend who is a cigar smoker. The young lady assisting didn't ignore me, she even asked if I had an interest in a cigar/cigarillo for women. I appreciate her not forgetting about me and showing me around the shop. There is a patio area in the back. Various cigars for sale and accessories too. It's a very intimate setting but the fung shui is intact to make sure you're comfortable while you're there. read more

Update: Avoid this place at all costs! If you are a person of color trust me. This place is run with the utmost disrespect. Never have I been to a place that doesn't even uphold their own rules. The owner doesn't speak to concerns or issues he may have with the customers. Instead he emboldens an inadequate manager by the name of Natasha or Natayla, her name changes on the day. Avoid this place! Spend your money elsewhere! As a customer you only take so much. Their rules don't make sense and clearly are directed towards folks of color. If this place were to shut down tomorrow it wouldn't be missed. They still don't clean up properly due to COVID-19. They still are trying to strong-arm customers with a bogus $25 entry-fee. I will never step foot in this bigoted place again to spend my money on a place that doesn't want me or folks of my color in there. AVOID THIS PLACE! Where do I start? Let's start with the fact that this establishment is full of sh*t! They have the audacity to now have a rule that reads, "Due to the COVID-19 restrictions you must make a purchase of $25 in order to sit in the outdoor lounge." That is a cover charge. We are living in global pandemic and this place is making seem like it's our faults as the consumer. Not only is this rule wrong it's laughable. They are expecting you to pay $25 immediately when you walk-in to smoke a cigar. That's outrageous! If you feel the need to have a cover charge then do that and be upfront with the customer. Don't put it on a sign on the register and make mention of it when it's time to pay. Don't say due to COVID-19 restrictions that's strong arming patrons for money. If I come there and buy cigars and want to smoke one on the patio, I have every right to do so since I purchased them. Secondly, the place sucks with customer service outside of the gentleman Polo who works there some nights. The main manager Natasha is a cold-hearted woman who doesn't have an ounce of customer service in her body. She ignores patrons unless you are the same hue as her. And lastly speaking of COVID why is it that we as customers must bring in our cleaning supplies in order to feel a sense of comfortability? They don't clean up with any supplies to wipe down the ashtrays. They instead use a paper towel and that's it. Do yourself a favor. Avoid this place unless you like feeling unwanted, strong armed for 25 bucks just to sit down, have to bring your own cleaning supplies to disinfect your area and be treated like crap! This shop is definitely a unique creature in Maryland. No one would ever expect to find this spot out along route 3 in Gambrills, but there it is. It's a cigar shop, that also has a liquor license... and they stay open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays. They have outdoor seating in front of the shop as well as a lounge in the back. Both spots have big screen TVs for your viewing pleasure. The shop itself is one big humidor and the selection of cigars they have their is OK. There are some cigars I typically see at shops that I did not see here, but at the same time they had some lines I don't often see out at other shops. The cigars were quite overpriced though, so keep that in mind when coming here. The crowd here is fairly friendly, but there is a definite "regular crowd" that will be checking you out if you decide to hang out here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm going to have to jump on the bandwagon in one of the rare instances in my life and agree with the other reviews. Is the place on the expensive side? Yes. Is it oddly located in a strip mall in Crofton? Yes. Do they sell nice cigars and provide a nice environment to smoke them? Yes. Back to the prices. While they are a little on the expensive side, there is a reason for it. They do have a location where I can imagine their lease costs are fairly high (location location location). They do have a rather unique and limited market, meaning they don't move large volumes of merchandise. They have a nice environment set up for you to also enjoy. The only true negative I have to say about this place isn't actually about the place itself. It sits behind Caribou Coffee. This means you have to make your way past hipster teens sitting outside to actually reach Titan Cigar. They don't give you any trouble. But they always seem to be there. read more

The spot is a little hard find, but that's what I like about it. You go there to smoke, drink, and socialize: no posers. They have a Good selection of cigars: no food.
