    Mushroom and Pepper Pizza

A really, nice, modern cafeteria. Although I'm not an employee at the hospital, I've found myself here my fair share of times to appreciate the cafe's existence when in need of a quick meal. The Tisch Cafe can easily be found by following the blue path (left of the main entrance) all of the way to the end. Inside, you'll find rows and rows of tables, chairs and booths that can accommodate quite a large crowd. The food served inside is pretty typical of what you would find outside on the streets. There are stations for made-to-order sandwiches, pasta dishes, pizzas, meat and sides and salads. If you're in need of a beverage, they have it all, whatever you're into. Free water can be acquired at a water dispenser to the right of the cafe area. I've had the opportunity to try their pizzas and salads and both were really good, especially the pizzas. Although the personal pies here don't look that big, they actually hit the spot and fill you right up with the very last bite. The fact that the hospital is located on 1st Avenue, away from much of civilization west of it, it is easy to find yourself at the cafe quite often if you're in the area. And to be honest, it's a really, really good option!

Been to a lot of hospital cafeteria's but this one is probably the cleanest and updated modern one I've seen. Prices are city prices, half a sandwich or wrap is like $3. Sushi is like $8 for a tiny roll. Drinks are $2 - $4. There's a deli station, ramen, and boston market style station for your food choices and of course pizza for those who are on a budget. Lots of outlets for plugging in and charging your phone or laptop. Some have usb ports, while others have the regular outlets. Lots of seating and tables to hangout and chill.

There is really nothing much to say about this cafe. It's in a Nyu main busking and there is not other cafeteria that you could go. Does it get the job done yes it does the sitting is good but the fod is just regular and prices are high for hospital. Went there Monday night and had stay with a friend for broken legg, I tried to get some food. Did we really like it know but it gets the craving done. I should have order form outside, I could get it cheaper and better probably. The people are bey friendly and help you right away . They do have dunkin donut coffe, which I really don't like it at all . It's convince for the people you have to stay over the night in the hospital that they could get some food in emergency if needed.

This cafeteria is made so nice. Fresh and delicious food. The prices are super reasonable. Good thing, you do not to be a patient, visitor or employee to eat at this place. It has wide windows looking at 1st ave. Extremely clean, nice staff.

I'm just going to say that the cafeteria was a great place to eat lunch and relax. Thanks it makes the hospital a step above most others.

Clean af! Great, fast service. Great food options for a hospital cafeteria and good coffee options. Moderately priced however.

Best pizza ever, and that's not a joke. The burrata pizza is heaven on a plate. Also the new taco bowls are good. Also the forbidden rice.

You need a password (easy to find online), and you go through a hidden door down a staircase. But it feels more like a novelty than anything else. NYC has way more iconic speakeasies, so this isn't somewhere I'd go out of my way for more than once. Nothing wrong with the vibe--it's Times Square, so you already know what you're getting--but it's definitely a one-and-done kind of spot. The drinks are good and super fun, but they're very extra (smoke, presentation, all that), so between that and how packed it gets, it can take a while just to get one cocktail. Didn't try the food. Overall, go for the pics and TikToks--it's perfect for that. I'd recommend checking it out once, but I don't really see it being a repeat spot.

They have a big patio which is really nice for our rare beautiful weather days. Luckily it was one when we ate here! Our server was fun and cooperated with my uncle's crazy jokes. The staff here are very attentive and proactive, and there is a high level of service. We had the focaccia and fried asparagus to start and both were amazing. I had the rigatoni, which I wasn't sure if I'd like because it was pea-forward, but it was surprisingly really good. The ramp pizza was also very tasty, I wanted more of it, which I also didn't expect because I wrote it off as being a super green/healthy pizza. We had a bunch of desserts. I don't usually see cookies on a dessert menu, but these cookies were so good. Perfectly baked. The bourbon cake was really good too. Bartenders were cool and drinks were good. Because it was a Sunday and it was pretty busy, we decided to get a table before the restaurant filled up. The waiter was super cool and did not rush us while we waited at our table. I got the braised short rib mafaldine and I gotta say it was one of the better pasta dishes I have eaten in a while. Very thick and flavorful sauce along with the nice texture of the mafaldine pasta and nice and tender meat made this such a great dish. Very generous portion size, too. Even when we were finished and we stayed and talked a bit, we weren't rushed by the waiter and he let us continue to stay and talk. That was pretty cool of him. Also came by several times to drop off water and check if we needed anything else. Some negatives are that the place is pretty dark and kind of cramped. It is also pretty loud, so you will need to speak pretty loudly to be heard at your table. Overall, I loved the braised shot rib mafaldine. My friends also liked their dishes, which included the steak, late night spaghetti, and Mediterranean salad. If I'm back in the area, I will be sure to come back here.
