6/18 /24 I paid for lifetime warranty alignment service. 6/25/25 I requested the tires to be rotated and an alignment. When I went to pick up the car I was told I had to pay $10.69 because they looked under the hood even though I did not ask for anything else to be done except the rotation and alignment. I was never charged this on previous visits. I was told this is part of their package and I had to pay it. This additional cost was not revealed to me when I dropped off the car. I was also told that I would need 4 motor mounts. I took the car to Aamco and told them what Tires Plus recommended and charged. The Aamco mechanic said I only need to replace one motor mount. I do not trust Tires Plus and therefore would not recommend them. I will not return. read more

This has been my go-to tire shop. I've been going to them for years because they are always fair and friendly. They are honest about the time that it will take to get the job done - so if there is a significant wait, they will let you know up front. In all honestly, I've rarely waited any significant time here. Often I have been able to drop the car off, walk down the street to breakfast and it's usually been enough time for them to get the job done. I've replaced tires from this location and they have always been fair priced. No one wants to deal with tire issues, but it's good that when you need to that you can rely on someone not to play games or try to be unfair to you This last time I went was for a persistent leak in my rear tire. I assumed I would need to replace the tire to be hones because I was loosing half the pressure within 12 hours. They took the car, checked it out and were able to find a tiny needle like nail in the tire and patch it. That trip was pretty inexpensive. They advised me about the wear on the tires and roughly when they estimated they would need to be changed. I appreciate the friendly and honest service here. read more

Do not deal with this Tires Plus location unless you like dealing with what I consider to be dishonest, lying, thieves. I broke the parking brake linkage on my 2003 Silverado and took it into to a shop on Forsyth for an estimate. The shop evaluated the entire truck bumper to bumper and provided a detailed list of all problems. The estimate came it at over $1000 which included replacing all the parking brake cables. Couldn't see that, so took it to Tires Plus, which gave me an estimate of approximate $250 dollars, which turned into a final charge of$442.97. While at Tires Plus, the truck mysteriously developed a serious radiator leak, a leaking master cylinder, and a leaking power brake booster. None of these problems were evident before, and the previous shop identified only a minor leak at the power brake booster. Repairs to all the new problems were estimated at $2029.17! Brakes on the truck were fine until I picked it up from Tires Plus. The brake pedal now goes nearly to the floor when pressed. Be on your guard if you go here. It's impossible to prove conclusively that these problems did not occur simultaneously while the truck was at Tires Plus, so can't really do anything about it except vent my anger on Yelp and warn people about what I think are their unscrupulous business practices. read more

The staff are all friendly and they were honest, which was appreciated. As a young (looking) woman who knows jack about cars, I'm always nervous at places like this as I'm definitely an easy target for selling unnecessary services. I get nervous when I need to get a tire patched as I'm afraid they are going to tell me that I have to replace the tire. And not only that, but I can't replace just one, I have to replace two to make them balanced. That was not the case here and they just patched my tire as requested. I was out in under an hour which, again, was appreciated. They are doing fundraising for the boys and girls club of central Florida and asked me if I wanted to round my total up to the nearest dollar as a donation. I like that as well and gladly contributed. I like when businesses give back to the community. read more

Went to fix a flat on Sunday. It was 15 minutes to closing time. I was passing through as I live 4 hours away. Inquired about putting a patch on the tire and the said they could do it on Monday. This place is great mostly because it is very close to the house. I can take the car there, drop it off and walk back home. Only issue I have with this place is they have begun a practice of always calling me to tell me what else is wrong with my car. The first two times I thought it was them just doing their job. The next two times had me thinking this is a way for them to do additional business. They used to have a manager by the name of Steve and he would tell me when things needed to be done or when they could wait a bit. I have been going to this location for 25+ years and the guys are always polite and factual with me. I have worked on my cars for years so I understand about cars. The guys at front desk know me by name when I walk in the door. How many place can you go where the lead mechanic has been there 24 years? Jim is knowledgeable trustworthy and reliable. Stephen Matt and front staff have also been there between 15-25 years and don't play games or tell me stuff I don't need. They will also tell you this item is not critical this can be put off till next visit. Yes - they are not cheap. if you want ASME certified mechanics - this is the place. Even some of front staff are certified after turning wrenches 20 years before moving to front desk. in 25+ years I've never been mislead or felt cheated. I've been surprised by repair cost since I'm old and my cost estimates are behind the times but the job has always been done correctly. Never have I had to go back because something wasn't right. I also love their 6 months same as cash. When I lost a transmission they towed the auto to professional transmission repair shop and then guaranteed the work for minimum of a year (transmission shop only guaranteed 3 months but they carried a year) I only have two mechanic shops in Winter Springs and Casselberry I trust. This shop is severely lacking in knowledge on cars. After two visits and $1500 they have only caused problems and have not resolved any. I originally came in for an oil change and inspection. I also informed the Service person, Tom or Andrew, that there was a bit of bounce when reversing without pressing the gas but this was a minor issue and not much of a worry. They recommended replacement of a motor Mount and a control arm bushing. After the work was complete, I noticed the original issue with the bouncing was still existing but now there were new issues... now when I drive on the highway (over 60mph) the wheel starts to shake and also the check engine light came on. Neither of these problems existed before my first visit. Upon bringing it back, I was provided a long list of recommendations but ultimately they were unsure of what was causing the wheel to shake. They advised that replacing a sensor would fix the other issues. I authorized the work and am now at two visits and over $1500 paid. Now, less then a week after the second visit, the wheel is still shaking and the check engine light has come back on.... At this point I will be bringing my car to another shop as I have lost all confidence in this shop resolving any of the issues. read more

I used to take my car here for repairs until they changed management. The new manager likes to find problems with your car that always seem to add up to about $300 in repairs no matter what. Need an oil change? Sure, 29.95...plus we found this gizmo gadget is not to spec and needs to be replaced soon. It will cost about $250, but we have one in stock and can do it now.... so original went it for a window issue,i had already dismantled the door and disconnected the window switches out. i stayed there after turning the car over to them for about 25 minutes. There diagnosis was window relay and brand new switch in total costing 770 dollars. i declined and the charged me about 25 just to literally look at it because when i got the car back the driver side door was still off. The location is convenient as it is within walking distance to some restaurants in case you need to get a bite to eat (Firehouse, Jeremiahs, etc). Awful. I needed two new front tires. Dropped it off at 1:30pm. They told me it would be ready by 5pm when they close. Got there at 4:45pm. My car was still sitting there. I asked for an eta. They said it would be the next car in. Didn't get my car back for over an hour and a half. Staff seemed upset. Manager didn't seem to know what he was doing. They were arguing in front of customers. Scheduled an appointment. Car did't get on the lift for almost 25 minutes. All I wanted was an oil change and tire rotation. They tried to sell me new tires, which I expected due to tread wear on the car. But they tried to guilt me into a more expensive "safer for your family" tire. If a tire isn't "safe" than why sell it? Needless to say I did not buy tires. The oil change took longer than most other places I've taken the car to. The whole process took an hour and 20 minutes. I have been coming to this location for at least 5 years, and have had stellar service every time. Even on the ONE occasion where they took longer than planned on a service, they did right by me and gave me a coupon for a free oil change. The manager Kevin is a straight-shooter and always tells me what is absolutely necessary vs. what can wait or isn't crucial. I have virtually zero car knowledge, and so I rely on the expertise and honesty of the manager/techs, so I absolutely appreciate that I have never felt pressured into any service I didn't want/understand. At this particular visit, the manager honored an old quote I had received for new tires, without me even asking for him to (I wrongly assumed they wouldn't like most other places)! Held up at Tires Plus! NO low voltage light on, NO alternator light on, NO problem with battery, NO warning lights on except the low tire pressure. Went in for oil change and alignment. Then they tell us the alternator is bad. See above notes about "NO voltage light on, NO alternator light on, NO problem with battery" but the alternator is bad. Don't you think it would have shown up on the instrument panel? No, Got to have a new alternator. Never mind the fact that we had an alternator replaced 2.5 years ago. OK we spring for the alternator and ask for the old alternator. NO you can't have it without paying a core charge. That way we can't take the alternator to have it checked. Not happy. And remember the Low Tire pressure light that was on. We asked them to check the tire pressure and that was NOT DONE. We had to go back to get them to do what was on the original ticket. read more

I had to get some work done on my secondary car and I had got a list of things needed done from tire kingdom. I got a second opinion from good year and 3rd from tires plus. Tire kingdom and tires plus lists both matched so I went ahead and repaired the stuff on their list which was front left wheel bearing and brake adjustment. After doing so, the bill ended up being about $1200. When I picked up my vehicle and drove to work the next day, I was greeted with a loud rubbing/grinding noises from front left tire where work had been done. I took it in for them to remedy as this noise was not there before and something they did was causing it. They are now telling me it is the transmission that needs done and the previous $1200 was basically thrown in the garbage. I paid them to find everything wrong and they made sure they collected the 1200$ before telling me it was the transmission. Awful service. Will not use these scammers again. read more

I was very satisfied with the work done on my vehicle until I opened up my center console this morning; after picking up my car yesterday evening, to see that the cash I had stored in there was missing. I know for a fact it was there because the night before I had seen it. This is a warning to anyone that leaves their cars there to ensure you leave NOTHING behind or someones grimy fingers will take it. It was dropped off to than around 3 pm. Called back before they closed at 6:40 pm and they haven't looked at it yet. It sat in the parking lot for 4 hours. Keep I mind that I am getting a new alternator, 2 new tires, an alignment, and CV joints (possibly around $1200 worth of repairs done).
