I dropped my car off at 7am am this morning with an appointment. I asked if my car would be done around 3 or 4 and was told it should be. I called and 2:09 and the person told me it's almost done, and they were putting the tires back on. I took the uber back to the shop after an hour and my car was outside, and the time was 4:30 pm. I thought great the work is all done. When I went to pay the said they just got the parts, and it won't be done until 6pm. I asked if any work was complete and the guy said, no. Do NOT TAKE YOUR CARE AND LEAVE IT!!!! I waisted money on the uber after dropping it off and picking it up. I was the first person there that morning before the guy turned on the lights!!! read more

Woke up to discover I had a nail in my tire. I was able to schedule a same day appointment to have it patched. Paul couldn't have been any nicer. I was asked if I would like to spend an additional $10 for them to go over my vehicle and I declined. While waiting I heard them call multiple people and tell them all that they needed "Cabin Air filters" at a cost of $60+. **Side note: the cabin air filter is located in the glove box and cost roughly $10 and takes 5 minutes to replace**. Now I get approached with an $800 proposal of work. The proposal was for a: -fuel system cleaning (unless you are having issues this is not needed) -inspection (my inspection isn't up till the end of August and it's July 15th) -cabin air and engine filter (both are K&N and do not require changing just cleaning) These sales tactics are not only wrong they are predatory. If you don't know the basics of car maintenance you will be 100% taken advantage of by this establishment. They also display their hourly rate of $170 per hour which is ridiculous for a shop that most likely doesn't have any factory trained service technicians. To add insult to injury I discovered a fresh scuff where the technician scraped my vehicle. read more

Tire Plus at 403 W Street Rd Warminster, PA 18974 employs stereotypical chauvinist mechanic extortion pressure tactics to the point of being coercive predators. My wife took our car in for a new tire because one has a leak knowing that we would have to get a pair even though the other one is fine. While she was there, they stated several patently false claims as fact, including: our front wheel drive vehicle was AWD. They used this to say that all four tires HAD to be replaced. The two tires that we weren't looking to replace are evenly worn and have at least another 10,000 miles in them. This is either gross incompetence or willful deceit. Wouldn't want anyone changing the tires that can't tell the basic difference between a AWD vs 2-WD. Also wouldn't want to support anyone looking to force unnecessary waste just to line their pockets. Ultimately, they were going to charge us $800 for a $300 job. Will also be filing a complaint with BBB for this blatant dishonesty. read more

I brought my car in on Sunday for a battery and oil change. the guy behind the counter said they have three options and would give me a call to review them. when we asked around what time it would be done he replied "before we close".... ok. at 4 pm I received a call to pick up my vehicle. no other correspondence or calls to approve the battery that was used, pricing information, approval of work.... I get there to pick up and had to ask specific questions to get him to provide the pricing information, no joke like three times and he kept telling me different costs but not the total that i was paying for while he insisted that I just put my card in. the battery this dude selected for me, without my approval, was twice the cost of other batteries I had been quoted. when I brought my concerns to him he said " DO YOU WANT ME TO TAKE THE BATTERY OUT" with this stupid grin on his face. Overall this guy was a complete asshole and as someone who works in customer service, you should be as greatly appalled as I am that this person is working for you. I came to this location specifically because I had had good experiences previously. I feel ripped off, taken advantage of, and spoken down to because I am a young female. I took my car in to diagnose a jerking issue. without calling me they did 461$ worth of work. changing spark plugs and an ignition coil. While the labor is reasonably priced the markup on the parts it's ridiculous. I expected to get a call of an estimate and when I got a call saying it was fixed I thought that it must have been relatively low cost since they didn't ask before doing it. i was in sticker shock when I saw the bill and paid it cause I felt I didn't have a choice now that the work was done. read more

Great service. I had a bad flat tire and needed a new tire pronto. They had the tire size in stock and were able to fit me in. Additionally I knew I needed new brake pads but was holding it off. Mark told me they are currently running a special for $50 off brake pad install. This makes pads and labor very competitive. I went ahead and did it. Also they didn't try to "upsell" me by suggesting new rotors or any other "must have" items other shops may try to tack on. So they are totally trustworthy, and I will definitely bring my car back in the future for tires and minor maintenance. Definitely appreciate what they did and their pricing. read more

Okay so every time we use tires plus (Jist this location) there is always an issue and their timing is awful. We were promised our car back today between 2-3. We are understanding people and if something is going to take longer all it would have taken is a simple phone call explaining what the issue was. We didn't get a phone call until 447 pm and they told us they close at 5. So now we have to wake up extra early on a Monday morning and drag my toddler along because it was poorly handled today. My biggest issue is always the timing and the communication. read more

totally crappy customer service. I made my appointment on line and accepted the date given to me by the website. I arrived about 15 minutes early and was advised by the manager Paul(in a very nasty way) that I would have to wait as there were 3 people ahead of me. I didn't even get a chance to give him my name or any info. After about 30 minutes I was able to check in with him. This is when he tells me that they don't have any tires that would fit my daughter's car, but I could come back in 2 days and they could sell me a more expensive set of tires. Had a tire leaking, brought it into their shop at 0920 Saturday AM. They had two techs on duty, one job to do. THE MANAGER SPENT ALL HIS TIME ON HIS CELL PHONE, surfing, not talking, and even so, his cell phone is not the shop's service number. Other than greeting the other two customers who came in while I was there, he did nothing to supervise his employees. Left my keys, went to breakfast. When I came back, they had my car on the lift, hood up. Why? I needed a flat repair. Tech looks under the hood, then starts depth guaging my tires. Why? I know my tires are all good. I tell the manager I expect the FLAT to be fixed. Nothing else required! Tech pulls the wheel and then DISMOUNTS THE TIRE? WHY? Turns out TIRES PLUS fixes flats from inside the tire. Thorough, but I'd never seen a flat fixed that way in over 50 years owning and driving my own car. Of course, the Tech had to remount and balance the tire, before reinstalling it on my car. So I got charged not just for the tire repair, but mounting, balancing and associated labor. Car was finished 70 minutes after I brought it in. Tires Plus WILL NEVER SEE ME IN THEIR SHOP AGAIN! read more

This place has done a complete 180! They are nothing like they were last year. They are rude, never acknowledged me when I walked in. They didn't have my information ready in the morning even though I called the evening before and made an appt for an oil change. On the phone the previous evening I had a great conversation with the young man. We discussed the things I wanted done to my car; it ended up being a list. When I walked in the following morning, mere hours later, the guy behind the counter had absolutely no clue who I was or what I wanted done. When I called to check on my car, he said, "What did you want done?" I wanted done what I told the man last night I wanted done! I assumed he recorded it all. I had a massive problem with my tire while driving right in front of Tires Plus. I pulled in and explained that I had just had my car's State Inspection completed the day before in Montgomeryville Jiffy Lube. The mechanic was engaged immediately, they put my car on the jack and found that the front left tire lug nuts were totally loose, likely hand tightened only the day before. No charge, the manager Michael Kelly was great, the whole team was great and they did not charge me. I was shocked, and I will definitely be back next time I need anything done on my car's tires, brakes, etc. Thank you! read more

Last night I had a flat tire and am here now getting a new one. For the middle of the day on the Monday I am enjoying the atmosphere here. I was clearly not looking forward to spending an afternoon at a repair place but Tires Plus would be my number one choice if this should happen again. I never look forward to having my car repaired but unlike most places this waiting area is well lit and had a very relaxed atmosphere. The man I spoke to was very upfront about how long this would take, completely professional and relaxed which helped the whole process move along. read more

STAY WELL AWAY!!!!- I went here last weekend to inquire about dropping my vehicle off to have a nail removed (from the center of the tire, not near the wall at all) and have the tire patched or plugged. Our regular Mechanic is closed on weekends and this place was pretty close to us. Dropped it off Sunday night and Monday I got a call to say they cannot repair it because the wall was damaged. I got quoted almost $300 to replace the tire with a "Bridgestone Tire", bare in mind my 4 tires on the car were from another manufacturer. They only sell two brands of tyres. I contacted my Mechanic who we have used for years and was advised to avoid mixing tyres from different manufacturers on a vehicle (I was already aware of this) and to just drop it off to them. I phoned Tire Plus back and told them not to repair or replace my tire. Collected my vehicle that evening and took it to our Mechanic. Mechanic called me the next morning!! "Wait for this folks"!!! He told me the tire was repaired and there was absoutely no damage to the walls of the tire, it was in perfect condition. Guess I was "lied to" just to get a quick sale. I had an appointment for Wheel alignment, went there and gentleman name Peirce said (General Manager) I do have an appointment for WA. Told him I called yesterday (12/19/18) and made an appointment, he asked who did I spoke with and I said did not ask name of the person, who I made an appointment. Mr Peirce was so rude and said you have to make another appointment and come back. Mr Peirce said he answered the phone and do not remember making any appointment for my car (which was lied). Mr Peirce was VERY unprofessional and rude to me and told me he can refund my (life time wheel alignment) money right now, do not need customer like me. Went in today for a simple oil change advertised at $19.99 and got just that, which is exactly what i wanted. The guy who helped was straight and to the point he said i may need wipers in a few months and was not hassling trying to make me change them now. I loved that! I was in and out within 30minutes!!! I cannot rate this crew highly enough. I had the bad misfortune of having two flat tires within the same week, and both times I brought my car here. The staff is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Even though they were busy both times, they had the new tire on my car and everything ready to go in under half an hour. I am thoroughly impressed. I hope I never have a flat tire too far from this location--I can't imagine how any other shop could live up to this one! read more

My tire had a small nail in it and I took it over to tires plus around to get it plugged. They called me saying my tires were dry rotted and all 4 needed to be replaced. Then I took it to pepboys and they got back to me quickly that the tires were fine and the one with the nail did not need to be plugged and was fixed free of charge. After this experience an a few similar I am never stepping foot in this tires plus again. The one who keeps trying to scam us is Paul. Unless you want to pay for new tires every time you go there then it's the perfect place. read more

I saw some negative reviews for this business on another site and was pretty surprised. I have gotten nothing but professional, friendly service from these people, and I trust them a great deal. In fact, there have been some instances where I've had trouble with my car, took it to them, left it there, they looked at it and told me either that it was OK, or needed work they could not provide, and never charged me for it, AND recommended places where I could take it for the specific issues I needed addressed. They have always been candid about safety issues, what would and would not pass inspection, and what I "should" get replaced as compared with what I "must" get replaced, and have been thorough in their explanations as to why, bringing me back into the bay and showing me (and explaining to me) precisely what was wrong. They have even told me when it wasn't worth it to replace or repair something, or replace or repair it "yet," or what I could do myself that would cost less than if they did it. If they didn't have parts they needed, they'd get them THAT DAY (if it was early enough). I recommend them without reservation. read more

I will not deny a right to make a living and there are hidden expenses in running a business but charging $84 for a part that went for $14 on line was a little extreme. I was then told that I REALLY needed to do about $800 worth of work on my car. Concerned I took it to my mechanic that I trust and the bill came to $112. I had a slow leak on my tire, the low tire pressure light came on. I filled the tire with air the low tire pressure light went out. When the pressure would go low again the light on the dashboard would come back on. This went on for a week before I went to Tires Plus on Street Rd Warminster pa and they told me there was a nail in the inside side wall and I would need a new tire. I said ok go ahead, later when it was time to pay they told me the TPMS sensor was broken. This had been working when I brought the car in for service. read more

Avoid this place like the coronavirus! I stopped in the other day because I heard a grinding on my left front tire. Was on the area I figured I'd give them a try. Figured brake pads and maybe a rotor. I leave the car for the free brake inspection and 2 hours later I get the call. Both brakes and rotors on the front need to be replaced. The struts also need to be replaced. The spark plugs are in danger of penetrating because it's a newer Ford and was told that's very common. It needs a total tune up. Then I'm told all 4 tires are in terrible shape and need to replaced right away. I tell the guy that's funny because 14 weeks earlier we had the car serviced and 4 brand new tires put on. Then he says I should look into the warranty. I drove right over and got the car back. Repairs would've been 2k! What a joke! Went back to my regular mechanic when I got home and he got everything fixed for $240. Scam artists at their worst! read more

I've been here several times. Always getting tires, or prorated tires. I felt that I had got 2 defective tires that started balding about 1 week after receiving them. Eventually having to get them replaced, about 6 months later when I really couldn't wait any longer, I let them know how I felt by screaming in the parking lot that I got jipped~and they offered the possibility of a refund if after 6 months my new tires were in good condition. My tires are still looking good so I will be seeing about that refund TODAY..because I have to get one replaced after hitting a pothole. It will be prorated too, unless it's free due to the orginal defective one. Crossing my fingers and will let EVERYONE know cause I've been told I have a big mouth!! If I have a good visit, I will come back on and give them 5 STARS!! :D read more

Went there to have a flat tire repaired, the guy informed me they did everything possible and found nothing wrong, filled my tire with air and sent me on my way. I drove home and the next morning the tire was flat. Took it to Pepboys they found a nail and didn't even charge me to fix it. Not happy with Tires Plus at all and to think the dude was most likely lying to me and I tipped him. read more
