I have been a Tires Plus customer for years, they can't always squeeze you in but they do their best and are upfront on what is going on. Went for an oil change on 5/29. First they were short of staff. Then got it done in an hour and half.Didnt notice it for 4 days when I asked my brother to rinse the condenser to see if my air would get colder. When he opened the hood the engine cover was gone. There is no accountability for errors there. The manager called about the cover to Hyundai without giving them the VIN #. Went on to tell me it didn't have a factory engine cover which is a lie. I have goggled this myself. When I asked him to review with person doing the oil change his comment was neither here or there. So someone there got my engine cover. I will report this to Better Business as well. I may be a woman but I am not stupid. read more

I asked if they could install my spark plugs and ignition coils, I did not know that bc I have a 3.7L v6 instead of the 3.5L, it needed an intake plenum gasket so they told me, so I bought it at Autozone, along with my coils and plugs, they said yes and they installed it for me at a reasonable price of $160, granted I did get a discount bc I work for the Autozone that delivers them parts read more

Removed caliper bracket bolt to intentionally sabotage my car and didn't fix. Paid $800 for nothing repairing the problem I was having before going to the shop. Instead watched the bolt removed and thrown into the trash can. read more

At 10am with one car and 2 technicians in the back the new manager Ericx told me (without even looking down at his screen) he could see me at 12, 2 or 4pm. W. Bystrom I have done business with Tires Plus on Calvin Rd. for many years. About 14 months ago I bought a full set of tires for my 08 KIA Sorento... Fine... Last February my 99 f-150 needed work on the ignition system. I specifically told "Mike" I believed the issue was the relay switch on the firewall. I was told it was the starter after they looked at it. I believed that to be a complete line of B.S.. I asked for the starter core back because it had been replaced just a week before that. I paid my bill and took my starter to "THREE" places that bench tested the starter that was in my truck. All 3 places show my starter to be in great shape and they gave me the read out paperwork verifying that the starter was fine. I returned to "Mike" to present my findings and paperwork about the starter. He was at first defending the work Tires Plus preformed. He quickly reversed his stance when I asked to see the read out when they bench tested my starter. He said they didn't bench test it... WTF...!!! Are you kidding me replace a starter without testing first then claiming its the problem. What kind of mechanic does that? The kind that cheats the average customer. I often work on my own vehicles but it was the dead of winter and didn't feel like doing the work at that time. Can you guess what the problem was......????? MMMM... it was the relay switch as I first pointed out. By this point I have no trust in "Mike" or your "parts changer" in the shop. I tried to get "Mike" to do the right thing but "Mike" is more worried about protecting his back side then admitting fault and making things right by the customer. I after trying to reason with "Mike" I was only offered a $34 in store credit. That brings me to today... The KIA that I bought 4 new tires for had an issue with the wheel. So I called today and got "Mike" on the phone. I told "Mike" I have a loose wheel and a loose tire/wheel that I needed the tire moved to the loose wheel. Mike asked if the tire was new. I said I bought a set of 4 from you about a year ago. Mike told me he could not do that unless the tire was new. What in the world kind of policy is this...??? I asked what if the tire needed a repair? Do you force people to buy a new tire because of a nail or slow leak? Things just don't jive. So I went in to pay "Mike" a visit to get my $34 of credit back on my card. "Mike" told me that I had no credit on account. The $34 is meaningless at this point. What is not lost on me is that "Mike" is perfect for the type of business you run. It is incontrovertible that "TIRES PLUS" is a bottom line kind of business, if we screw over a few here or there it's ok... I will make it my point to tell this true story every chance I get any time car repair comes up. My wife will do the same. I have read your replies to other 1 star reviews and they are basically the same line over and over. So don't waste your time on me unless it will be something of substance or value. W. My tire needed a patch and Phil at the front was super helpful and accommodating. He was very friendly and made she I knew exactly what I needed and what I'd be paying for. But I was super disappointed because while I was sitting in the waiting room I witnessed Dave the manager belittle and treat Phil like he had no idea what he was doing after he had ordered a part for another customer. Dave came out of his office and questioned Phil on why he would be ordering things that way. He talked down to his employee and was just down right rude to him. I hope this is not how "Dave" treats his employees everyday. I'd love to use this company again but if Dave is there treating his employees like crap I don't know if I'll be able to do that. read more

I have been going here for quite some time and not only do they do what they say, and at a good price, they are totally honest and up front with me. But I am grateful for that help. I prefer they speak to their employees about retraining and specifically how women are treated in a male-dominated field. Who is giving this awful ripoff joint stars? NO ONE who has been there, for sure. As this is the closest tire place, I have foolishly given it more than a couple of chances. They consistently disappoint and overcharge. Amazed it stays open as they do business so poorly it seems as if they genuinely detest customers. Not just my pretty face, but everyone equally. Had an oil change. Foolproof, right? Guess again. The very next day, heard a clunk/clange/cripes! and saw something drop from car. Pulled over to retrieve a broken plastic cover, and a filthy shop rag wedged up underneath. Took the car back to Tires Plus, informed them they failed to properly reattach the cover plate, which didn't bother them a bit. Brought up the free gift they left (dirty rag) and they vehemently denied even using "that kind" of rags and insisted it "had to have blown up from in Interstate and got stuck on its own." What a load of phooey. The car was driven less than a mile prior to when the plate dislodged showing the crusty rag which OBVIOUSLY CAME FROM THEM before they failed to screw down the plastic covering. Found a nearly flat, new tire and made the mistake of going back to Tires Plus (Plus a big headache and bigger pain in the back pocket.), ask for a simple patch, assuming it was a nail, and the disinterested fellow said, "It'll be um, couple hours." Okey-dooky. Returned two hours later, and was left standing in the rain for another two hours. Asked why my car hadn't been touched and was told I didn't have an appointment so they would look at it when they had time. Why didn't they say that FOUR HOURS earlier, instead of saying it would be ready in two hours? Incompetence in every regard. Drove to the gas station and aired it up, got home and made called Discount Tires (170th & Maple), made an appointment for 3pm, By half-past three, was back on the road and the professional, courteous, competent service was FREE! Discount Tires knows how to treat customers, and they take pride in doing an excellent job. I have finally learned my lesson, and hope you take my honest advice and go anywhere other than Tires Plus. ps. Wish I'd recorded the telephone call I heard while dropping of my car at TP. The clerk was telling a poor fool (customer) how the estimate was going from $250 up to $380 and "can't be sure if that will fix the problem...might be tierods, or...this is a starting point...." I was floored at the load of crap he was shoveling. The steaming pile stunk from across the room. I knew it was total bull, and I am not a motor-head. Atrocious. This business is shady as ever. I got my alternator done there, and after I got the work done I priced it other places and it was triple what they charged. Today I had 2 of my tires slashed so I put my hazards on and drove around the corner to this place and they wanted to charge over $800 for 3 tires. I told them that was really expensive and he said I have 2 options $800 or $700. I asked did he have any cheaper tires and he said he would call a check. He then came back and said $533. I payed for a tow truck to pick up my car, and I paid to take a taxi to another tire shop and got 3 really good tires for under $500. These people take advantage of not only women but of people who are in desperate situation. read more

Unfortunately, when I went into get my tire fixed, they fixed my tire. But when I told them I didn't buy two new tires, they got mad at me. For revenge, they removed the "balance" magnets that keep my tires in balance. When i left there, i was driving down the road and it was shimming and shaking in the front. I pulled over and noticed the "balance magnets" on both front tires had been removed. They were missing. So, now I have to take my car somewhere to get my front tires balanced. Very mean spirited and juvenile of them to do that to me. I just allocated myself $700 to buy new tires in June 2018, but, obviously, I will not be buying my new tires from Tires Plus on N. 132nd Maple in Omaha, Ne. Last week i decided to give tires plus a shot, since my girlfriend had said all nice things about the company close to her house, I had them fix my lower control arm, and ball joint, along with two new tires, and some fluids rounding up to about $1,000. Everything was in perfect condition when I left the store until that next morning I was getting ready to bring my younger brothers to school and my car wouldn't turn over, but there was a check engine light on, after 15-30 minutes of waiting it finally turned over so I gave it a test drive to find out if it is okay, when I go to break it sounds almost like the ball joint will fall out. I went to tires plus to fix my car and left with multiple other issues and when I called them to check out what could be wrong with it now since it never had a check engine light when we brought it, they processed to tell me to bring $100 for a diagnostic just to check the check engine light with no discount. I am VERY disappointe, especially on how they handled the situatio, to no help from there part. You know that feeling you get when your car alerts you to low tire pressure? I'm talking about the feeling that tells you it's probably just a little pressure loss due to a change in the weather... the kind of stuff that happens to footballs on a snowy day. Well that's the situation I found myself in on an 84 degree day. After checking all the tires and finding only one 10 lbs low, I was still telling myself this was simply an anomaly and adding air would make all my troubles go away. Of course three days later the dreaded low tire light was back. Now normally this isn't a huge deal. I bought the tires from Performance VW and they have a road hazard warranty. I could just fill up, drive the 15 miles there and wait an hour while they patch my tire. Unfortunately my recent frustrations with some of Performance's dealerships, during my hunt for a new car, left me in a position of dealing with their questionable ethics or fixing it elsewhere. (See my other reviews) Luckily Tires Plus is less than a mile from my home and they've always treated me fair. I made the decision to spend $25 on a repair with Tires Plus vs using Performance and have no regrets. The Tires Plus service was exactly what you would expect. I finally know what the plus stands for.......it means plus will bend you over and take advantage of you. My sister went here to get AC looked at ,mind you she has no knowledge of cars. They told her the compressor was bad and told $800 for part $400 for labor. Luckily she told me about I did some minor research on the situation found out it was just a $6 dollar AC clutch relay that takes literally seconds to replace. People educate yourselfs and do not take your vehicle to this place .I would not let them even add wiper fluid to my car. It really bothers me that these so called mechanics would take such advantage of people. If I could give zero stars I would. This place is a joke I dropped my car off at 9 AM and told them I needed it to be done by 2 PM or I would need to go somewhere else. They said they would have it done by then no problem. Called at 12:30 and was assured it would be completed didn't receive a call so had to find alternative transportation for my daughter. Called back at 4 PM still wasn't ready and was told will be in next. Finally received a call at 6 PM that it was complete. Next morning woke up and tire was still flat. Went back and let them know and gave them the opportunity to have it fixed. Woke up the next morning tire was still flat. Now I'm going to find a place that knows how to fix a tire I guess. During this whole time I've dealt with multiple people on their sales team and they all acted like any customer that was in there was bothering them and didn't want to deal with them. read more

I bought four new tires and was getting an oil change. They were supposed to do an alignment which they didn't do. They started bringing my car down and realized they forgot to do my oil change. I watched as they rushed through the oil change and I don't think I got all the services for which I paid. Very disappointment. I know I didn't get my alignment but they told me I could come back at any time and get one, well you already had my car for 2 1/2 hours why didn't you do it when you were supposed to since I paid for it. I would not recommend using they I think they provided me half the service I was promised and paid for and it felt like they stole money from me since I didn't get the services for which I paid. read more
