HORRIBLY RUDE, AND SHADY SERVICE. RATCHED ARGUMENTATIVE EMPLOYEE AND MANAGER. My AC started blowing warm air suddenly and o went to Firestone to get my fuses checked. The Firestone Tech was out for several days and the front counter manager suggested i call Tires Plus. He mentioned both places were owned by Firestone. He had mentioned he would charge me a basic miscellaneous fee for my fuses. Some Auto Zones and shops do this for free and it takes very little time. So i figured $10 was about right. I called Tires Plus and started speaking to a man who was very nice and when i told him what the issue was and asked for payment he started to say it would be a miscellanous $10 dollar fee (same as Firestone) but he hesistated and told me to speak with the front counter lady. I knew what this meant. She had to obviously be a trained sales agent and she was probably incentivized by a commission. Never the less i was transferred to her. The woman who answered the phone came off very pushy and overbearing. She kept stressing the fuse check was an 'electrical system' check and she upped the price to $25.00. She was at this point speaking very quickly and she also said they needed to do a pressure check and i believe she said this fee was $39.00. She then said they would do the pr3ssure check first and then do the fuse test. I asked her if Tires Plus accepted Firestone Bucks and she said no. I asked her if she would check with the manager which she agreed and while she was checking i looked at the coupon sent to me by the corporate office and it stated they were accepted. She came back to the phone and told me the manager said no as well. She then became very hostile and argumentative with me and demanded i call their corporate office and tell them they did not know how to enter the coupon. Why couldnt she call her own corporate office? Its strange to demand a customer do it. I then was transferred to this so-called manager (a half-arse manager if you ask me) and she too was rude and she also demanded i give the Tires Plus Corporate office a call and tell me they didnt know how to enter the Tires Plus coupon. I hit a deer last week and crunched the front end of my car. I came in today on the fly when one of my tires started showing it was low and I got a brake light warning. I was afraid that it was a deer-related issue and I'd have to go through insurance to get anything done. Getting out of the car and checking it all out is very difficult for me as a double amputee and I don't have a tire gauge. Anyway, I rolled up and a very nice gentleman came out. I explained the situation and he checked my tire and found out was low but not really low enough to indicate that it's been punctured. He aired it up and sent me on my way in 3 or 4 minutes and asked for nothing in return. I'll definitely be back when I need work done! read more

My dad knows his way around a car, so we only went here as a last resort when he was in the hospital. One mechanic was obviously lying to my grandmother and I get to more money. My dad caught them trying to swindle my mother and I another time. They can't be trusted and I suggest finding a locally owned mechanic. read more

My husband and I have been going to Tires Plus in Orlando, FL for 6+ years now. We recently entrusted our local store to change out the clutch on our Honda Fit. The following week, my husband drove to Georgia, where he is relocating to for work temporarily. On the way up, his car started to backfire and shake while the check engine light came on. He made it to his destination and went the following day to the Peachtree City location. It had nothing to do with the newly replaced clutch, which we were worried about. Instead, they 'fixed' the problem and my husband went home. He didn't need to drive for the next few days while he was there, but when he hit the road for Florida again, his car once again started misfiring and the check engine light kept going on and off. He was 2 hours south of Peachtree City, and still 4 hours from Orlando. He stopped at the Macon, GA location and received the most amazing service ever! Lawrence Green, the store manager was extremely helpful and made sure that my husband's car issues were fixed so that he could safely drive home. The Macon location was super friendly and accommodating given the situation and history we had had with Tires Plus recently. One of the workers had to spend 3 hours to drive to Atlanta and back to get the part that was needed for the fix. The store manager had said that they would stay open as late as was needed to get him back on the road. We've been so fortunate to find such amazing mechanics at the Orlando and Macon locations and will continue to be loyal customers. Thank you!. read more
