After back and forth visits with Mavis it was finally discovered that not only did they excessively overfill the oil level but they also did not use the manufacturer recommended type of oil. Before this visit there were no issues with the vehicle, and now due to their mistakes on a simple oil change I am left with a damaged vehicle. They refused to repair the damages as well. Take your time and business elsewhere to a facility with more competent staff who can actually do an oil change appropriately.

Additionally, the owner that sits in the back is grumpy and sighed that he had to get up and came to the counter when I was there to pickup my car. But, I now see his point and the old man was very right. Expect to get an attitude if you go in. Expect them to think that THEY gave you a great favor by simply working on your car. Guys, keep your receipts. Use a credit card. Drive the car on the highway, look under the hood the day you get it back. Document it. Take pictures before and after. They are a "likeable" company. By that I mean, when you walk in the door, they either "like" you or they don't. If they don't. You need to leave. LEAVE! Take a gander at the gaudy rings. Maybe he doesn't know how to buy diamonds? Maybe he just doesn't know? Maybe he loves spending money on gumball machines? But wearing two such rings is something that only Liberace would do and people actually liked him. To my knowledge, robbie doesn't have a piano in the office. Liberace had more hair than robbie even if it were kept in a drawer. People take notice and will go somewhere else. The tires come from a central warehouse and are ordered usually on the day you come in. It should be the same price at the next place down the road for tires. Here's how it went: The Good: -- They are professional. Each interaction with the people was good. They are helpful, explain what they are doing, and answer all questions. -- The service is relatively fast. -- Waiting areas are pretty clean. -- Easy to schedule an appointment online. I got one for my brakes same day. -- Decent selection of tires. The Not So Good: -- Expensive -- Expensive -- Did I say expensive? Let me qualify this. -- Tires are about 50% more than a place like Walmart or Costco where you will get a similar product with no noticeable difference and similar warranty. -- I got my brakes (all 4 wheels) done about 2 years ago at a different shop for about $800. Mavis charged me $1100 for 2 wheels! -- you can go to auto zone and get all the parts they used for about $450 vs the $670 they charged me -- Labor is a set price for working on a set part. It is NOT per hour. $416 for labor that took a total of 1 hour and 20 minutes. To put this in perspective, that is the same as a junior airline captain. Bottom Line: We went to Mavis out of convenience and necessity. We will NOT be going back. Save your money and go someplace else.

Preston was very courteous and advised me that he would be able to help me. I try to do "simple things" myself but when I realized that you had to go through the tire fender area, I went to the professionals. Good thing I did! After replacing the buld, it still wouldn't work. Chris had to connect the computer and reset the system. Apparently, when the bulb blew, the computer shut dow the "port" and it had to be reset. After being reset, the light came on and worked properly. These guys are great at what they do!! I will continue to use these guys and have already shown my 17 yrs old daughter how to use their service as well. The staff is always helpful and courteous.

All I know is that I paid $60-something for a "new" (definitely not new) tire. I didn't mind because the other three tires are 2 years old, so this was just on par. Service was really fast.
