The desk guy suggested that I take it elsewhere as he (personally) thought it may be transmission related. Took it to another local shop and it indeed was the axle. Don't work on a car if you don't know how to repair that model. But, why let making money get in the way? duh. I later took it to another shop who said I need a new starter.Problem solved. But, I now see his point and the old man was very right. Expect to get an attitude if you go in. Expect them to think that THEY gave you a great favor by simply working on your car. Guys, keep your receipts. Use a credit card. Drive the car on the highway, look under the hood the day you get it back. Document it. Take pictures before and after. They are a "likeable" company. By that I mean, when you walk in the door, they either "like" you or they don't. If they don't. You need to leave. LEAVE! Take a gander at the gaudy rings. Maybe he doesn't know how to buy diamonds? Maybe he just doesn't know? Maybe he loves spending money on gumball machines? But wearing two such rings is something that only Liberace would do and people actually liked him. To my knowledge, robbie doesn't have a piano in the office. Liberace had more hair than robbie even if it were kept in a drawer. People take notice and will go somewhere else. The tires come from a central warehouse and are ordered usually on the day you come in. It should be the same price at the next place down the road for tires.
