What a way to start off your weekend! Discovered a very flat-to-the-rim tire on hubs truck! Waaaaaaahhh! Called Tires Plus to see if they had the proper tires in stock & they did, Yaaaay! & they gave me an estimate. Roadside assistance provided the required flat bed tow truck & towed the vehicle. Tires Plus changed the tire, price was as quoted over the phone so no surprises AND no hard sells either, & was in & out in a jiffy on a Saturday afternoon! Service was polite, friendly & efficient making me a very happy customer.

Failed patch

SCAMMERS!! Stay away from this shop if you value honesty. Instead of just telling me they tried to patch my tires, they told me they couldnt work on them. I went ahead and took the whees of the car because they gave it back to me leaking more air than i had dropped it off. I found that instead of them not working on the wheel like they said, i fould 3 failed patch jobs which ruined the new set of tires i had. Manager got on the phone and just couldnt understand the situation and asked me to bring it back---- no thanks!

This place has gone down hill over the years. Set an appt, arrived on time, rep told me it will be ready in an hour. I walked around Annandale for an hour. Came back only to see my car wasn't even touched! What's the point of setting an appt and telling the customer 1hr after they hand you the keys if you aren't going to do the work? They asked if I would like to reschedule. Like I would ever come back here again after you wasted an hour of my time. Let alone have not even having the common courtesy of calling the customer to tell them.

They scratched my rims replacing my tires. They need to completely eliminate the scrathes or they need to buy me new rims.

The store manager Steve was very helpful and accommodating for me as I was a walk-in.

Ben took my call and kept me calm and focused while we tried to figure out what exactly was going on with my suv. After a few minutes on the phone we thought it was best to have it towed to the nearest shop a few miles away (by the way, this was an evening/after hours call). Ben helped get me a tow and offered to send me a car to be driven home. I opted to walk down the street to a local restaurant to take advantage of my stranded situation (that's an entirely different story). Back to my review. The next morning the Nielsen team helped me understand what was going on with my suv, the options available to me, and provided a detailed break down of the costs associated with the five years of neglect and work needed to be sone to my suv. The number was a big number but there is a cost associated with having skilled technicians on staff to do the work and do it right. I was ok with this and they were kind enough to work with me on the price. Through the entire process, Ben and his team kept me in the loop at all stages of the service, until my car suv was ready for pick up. I recommend anyone looking for a hard-working, honest team to service your car or SUV to look no further than Ben Nielsen at any of his locations. My wife and I often use one of their locations in Alexandria on Colvin street because it's closer to home, but when my Audi broke down, skyline became the best option. There's no financial incentive for me to give this review only the gratitude, gratefulness, and my overall desire to thank the team for what they did. Thank you Ben and the Skyline team!

Sometimes the work is fine and sometimes its not. Too often I drive out with a new problem that I did not have before. A year ago this happened with the Steering Gear Box, which started making a grinding noise as soon as I left the lot. I had to bring it back and pay for a new one. Today, I brought it in for a few minor issues and an inspection and oil change. I also asked them to look at the rear end because I was sometimes experiencing a light "clunk" when I would drive over bumps. They told me the rear differential was making that noise. It seemed odd to me that the rear differential would be the cause. So I told them it was not a big enough issue at the moment to justify $3,000 for a new rear differential. I drove it home and - voila - the rear differential is now making a grinding noise (it was not before). The clunk is still there, but that is not on them. I am not going back because I never know if I am going to drive out with more problems than I came in with.
