I wanted the owner or manager of this business to be aware of a very concerning experience I had today. I came in to have a tire replaced and parked my car on the side of the building. Before leaving my vehicle, I was looking for my glasses in the center armrest compartment. When I found my glasses, I noticed there was a $20 bill and a $10 bill inside the compartment. I went into the store, paid for the tire, and handed my key to the cashier, who gave it to an employee to drive my car into the service area. About 30 minutes later, I returned and found my car parked in front of the store. After getting my key back, I got into my car and immediately noticed that the center armrest compartment had been left open. I checked the compartment right away, and the $30 that had been there before was gone. I spoke with the employees, but they both insisted that no one had taken the money. While I cannot say exactly what happened, the money disappeared while my car was in their possession, which is extremely concerning. This experience has caused me to lose trust in this business. When you leave your car for service, you expect your belongings to be respected and your vehicle to be secure. Unfortunately, I will not be returning, and I want to warn others to remove any valuables from their vehicles before leaving them here. If the owner or manager reads this, I hope you will investigate this incident and review your employees' conduct. I recently came to get new tires for my car. I scheduled an appointment online for 10am. Got a call from the manager at 7:15am saying if I could come in a bit later (was told 11am) because the tires have not arrived but they expect it later that morning. I waited nearby the shop to get lunch and pass a bit of time. The manager offers to schedule a different day but I took time off work so I needed to get it done that day. Tires finally arrive at 2pm and I'm out by 3pm as they pre-prepped my car just needing to wait for the tires. The good is that the manager and staff were quick to work on my car and get me out asap. The bad is that the online system is and my original scheduled appointment were inaccurate and delayed. I can't fully blame the store for the issues and the manager and staff were very accommodating. My suggestion would be to call the store and double check they have the tires or will get the tires by your appointment time. read more

What a way to start off your weekend! Discovered a very flat-to-the-rim tire on hubs truck! Waaaaaaahhh! Called Tires Plus to see if they had the proper tires in stock & they did, Yaaaay! & they gave me an estimate. Roadside assistance provided the required flat bed tow truck & towed the vehicle. Tires Plus changed the tire, price was as quoted over the phone so no surprises AND no hard sells either, & was in & out in a jiffy on a Saturday afternoon! I went in with a nail in my tire. I was seen by the service manager right away, who promised he would get right on it. I went across the street to have lunch, but in a short while received an email with a very reasonable cost to remove the nail and patch the tire. It was done by the time I finished lunch and picked up my vehicle within a minute of returning. I have dealt with the store before and each time has been a good experience. I would highly recommend-- way better than my experiences at NTB for similar services. read more

TLDR highlights: 1) Had to bring my truck back twice within a week after they replaced my brakes because the brand-new brakes were squealing. 2) A few weeks later my parking brake assembly came apart while driving causing over $4,300 in damage. The only people that touched my brakes were Tiresplus employees. 3) Tiresplus/Bridgestone refused to fully reimburse me for the damage. In May 2024, I had the brakes replaced on my Ford F-150. I had to bring it back in twice more within a week for further work because the brand-new brakes were squealing. A few weeks later the parking brake assembly on my rear passenger side wheel came apart while I was driving. Not only was this dangerous, it caused a significant amount of damage. I took my truck to a Ford dealership and they had to do $4,323 worth of work to repair the damage. Because no one else touched my brakes, the work the Tiresplus store did was likely the cause of the issue. As soon as I got home from bringing my truck to the Ford dealership and before they had even looked at it, I called the Tiresplus store to let them know what happened and that I would be filing a claim. The manager told me to let him know how much it cost and he would then pass it along through the proper channels. Once the damage was repaired a few days later, I called the store to let the manager know how much it cost me and the manager then filed a claim through the corporate channels. A few days later, I was contacted by a claims rep but he said because they did not have a 3rd party inspect the damage they would not pay out the full claim. This was the first I heard about the requirement to have a 3rd party look at the damage in order to file a claim. The manager didn't mention it when I called (before any work was done at the Ford dealership), nothing I signed said anything about it, and I could not find anything on your website that said a 3rd party was a requirement. I would argue the Ford dealership could have been used as a 3rd party expert. Furthermore, I still have all of the damaged parts and offered to have a 3rd party come look at them. None of this sufficed for the claims rep and therefore my claim was not offered to be fully reimbursed. Being out over $4,000 and the whole ordeal in general is quite frustrating. However, being steamrolled by the claims office and not having them actually consider the claim fairly is the worst part. If they would have actually talked to the Ford dealership (the claims rep says he did but I asked around at the dealership afterward and no one said they had spoken to him) or actually brought in a 3rd party to look at the parts I have and the third party then said it was not the fault of Tiresplus, I would at least feel like Tiresplus/Bridgestone treated me fairly. Unfortunately, that is not the case. I would highly recommend avoiding Tiresplus/Bridgestone at all costs. read more

Came back only to see my car wasn't even touched! What's the point of setting an appt and telling the customer 1hr after they hand you the keys if you aren't going to do the work? They told me they'd need an hour at most. I went and got some food. Came back, car still being worked on, they told me the rental agency had taken 45 minutes to give them an approval. Still, even from there the work took over half an hour. Bottom line: indifferent and sloppy service management. I hope the service work was done more conscientiously. ***Negative Five Stars**** The classic definition of insanity is doing something over and over again and expecting a different result. This pretty much sums up my family's experience the past several years with Tires Plus. However, after my most recent encounter with Tires Plus in Annandale, I am going to break the cycle and avoid this business forever. We brought in our car recently on a Sunday for a front-end alignment since the vehicle was noticeably pulling to the right during operation. For background, a family member purchased one of their vaunted "lifetime alignment" contracts in the early 2000's so the alignment should've been free. The Service Adviser (and I use this term loosely), "Joe", argued with us at first that the vehicle did not have the lifetime alignment warranty. It wasn't until we made him go into their system and check their database that he sheepishly admitted, "oh here it is, I found it". This should've been our first warning to turn around immediately since every time we've taken the car in for an alignment, Tires Plus has hemmed and hawed about the lifetime alignment program, and in fact, the car usually drove WORSE after they supposedly serviced the vehicle. We also provided Joe with the wheel lock nut (such as one found here: http://www.autozone.com/suspension-steering-tire-and-wheel/wheel-nut-lock) since this is a security measure we use to prevent people from stealing tires. When we went to pick up the car in the afternoon after the alignment had supposedly been "finished", once again Joe (indicated by employee code 02 on the invoice) argued with us that WE HAD NOT PROVIDED HIM with the wheel lock. He even went the "extra step" and asked the technician who worked on our car (Craig Erwin, employee code 08) if he had received a wheel lock to which Craig denied ever receiving it. Oh really? So if we didn't provide them with a wheel lock nut how did the technician remove the tires in the first place? It is clear someone at in their shop stole this wheel lock since it costs around $75 - the only reason we know this is because that's how much we paid to get a replacement unit. But we didn't have time to argue any further as we were late for a family function. As we drove away, as was the norm after having the vehicle "serviced" i.e. screwed up by Tires Plus, the car was still pulling to right. When we called Joe the next day, he referenced the report which indicated that the car was in alignment with only the rear left Camber (rear driver's side) being slightly off and within an acceptable range. Wanting a second opinion, we took the car to a more reputable auto mechanic, and when he placed the car up on the alignment machine, what he told us was both shocking and illuminating. He first indicated that one of the tire rods was essentially "frozen" and needed to be repaired otherwise there was a real danger that it would eventually crack while driving. The other thing was, he demonstrated how the alignment results could easily be manipulated by simply pressing on a tire while it is hooked up for diagnostics to show a particular wheel going from the RED to GREEN rating, thus showing the wheel being in alignment. So for years, it is pretty clear to me, this is what Tires Plus has been doing to show the car being in alignment when they knew about this dangerous issue which could've potentially resulted in injury and/or death to not only us but to other drivers on the road. Thankfully, we were able to get not only the alignment fixed but also to resolve the root cause of the mis-alignment in the first place. We placed a complaint with the state of Virginia and lodged a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. But these steps only go so far. I HIGHLY recommend to the Yelp community to avoid the Tires Plus chain, unless you want to be lied to and have your property and life placed in jeopardy. But if you do decide for some reason to fork over your hard earned money to these crooks, I suggest whipping out your smartphone and recording your conversation with any service "adviser", especially if you are handing over any wheel locks, keys, or other personal property. At least this way, you will have a video record in case you need to refer to it to resolve any disputes. read more

Don't ever get any repairs done at this place except tires, rotation, wheel alignment and road hazard repair on the tires. Maybe suspension repairs. Whenever i go in for the above items they look at other stuff that i didn't tell them to check. They try and tell you need some other work done that isn't needed. read more

I had what I was told was a punctured tire that was irreparable, so I had the mechanic replace it. Two weeks later, my brand new tire has gone flat. It wasn't the tire this time--the mechanic screwed on the hubcap too tightly and now I have a crack in the hubcap valve. Took it to the gas station and they replaced it on the spot. As you all know I have a party rental company that I run on the weekends. Sunday night I had to pick up three moon bounces. Because I did not plan on having drivers available I was forced to do the work of 2 guys 1/2 my age by myself. Needless to say I was not pleased with this and tried to rush to get the job done quickly. The first one went fine, but by the time I got to the second house it was after 8 and pitch black out. I do pickups with my Ford Ranger and a 5x8 open trailer. I accidently passed the house and instead of going to an intersection to turn around I took a short cut and pulled into a private driveway. After I was committed I noticed I came too close to the mailbox and had no room to maneuver. I back up too fast, jackknifed the trailer and heard an very unpleasant sound. Finally getting into the street I realized I destroyed my back tire by slicing the trailer into the sidewall. I can't remember the last time I felt that helpless. I was 15 miles from home, in a very dark neighborhood with no room, and I didn't actually know how to get at my spare. On top of that I had 600 pounds of equipment in the truck and needed to pick up another 250 that was 12 miles away with another 10 to get home. I had no other choice than to drive out of the neighborhood and try and find a big parking lot with enough light to see what I was doing. I drove 5mph on a 4 lane divided highway for 2 miles before I found a place I could turn off and begin replacing the tire. As I drove I was treated to the feeling of the tire deteriorating out from underneath me. I was able to get the spare off and jacked up the truck but was concerned about getting under the truck since I was upset and could easily see myself doing something stupid again and having a lot of truck, trailer, and moon bounces laying on top of me. Long story short I was able to get the tire on, get it inflated, and get the remaining bounce back to my house. On Monday I was suffering from post traumatic stress and didn't think about the truck. Tuesday I knew I needed to get my tires replaced amd I just wanted to get the ordeal behind me. The week before I visited Just Tires because the front tires were going a little bald on got a quote for two tires. When I visited last week no one greeted me when I entered the store or acknowledged me as I waited for the tech to finish helping the customer in front of me. Tuesday morning I returned and got a quote for 4 tires. They said it would take 2 hours so I decided to come back that afternoon. I returned to the store and upon entering didn't get a greeting or acknowledgement as I waited. Let me remind you my state of mind at this point. In the last 48 hours I half assed a simple task that set in motion a series of events that not only put me in danger but also made me feel helpless, angry, and is now costing me $720 dollars. When someone did finally lumber out of the back and got to the computer he looked up at me and said " Wadda ya got"? Taken back, I said " Do you mean , how can I help you?" His response, " Yeah, if that what you need to hear" I now know what the phrase "adding insult to injury" means. I was so angry I actually couldn't see straight. I didn't want to create a scene in front of the other people waiting so I quickly left the store. As I was getting into my truck the same guy meets me in the parking lot and says he doesn't know what he said to upset me but let's go back inside to start the job. It turns out he was the service manager. I was able to get him out of the way so I didn't run him down and quickly left. I drove 1.2 miles (passing 3 other tires shops) to Sears Auto where I was greeted with a hello and quick service and had 4 new tires on my truck in 60 minutes. Tires Plus's crappy customer service lost them a sale, a client, and generated enough bad will that I am telling this story to everyone I know in my small town. read more

I have a lifetime warranty on alignments at tires plus so I came here. They then told me that all 4 of my struts need to be replaced and it would cost $1500. Finally decided to get a second opinion since my car is only 4 years old and was told my struts were perfectly fine. I went to Duke Speedy Lube and they were so helpful and explained the process to test suspensions and why my car was perfectly fine. Never going back to this tires plus. read more

I made an appointment for tire installation. I arrived on time. The install took about 1 1/2 hours vs the 1 hr guarantee. The $59 credit was not offered. I agreed to the free alignment check after my tires were on. A short time later, they claimed they could not complete the alignment because I needed tie rod ends replaced for over $400. I was a bit skeptical because just before I checked out, a lady came in and asked for a code scan. The counter person quoted $100. The sign right next to him said code scans were free. I see a couple other Yelpers had similar issues. It will be interesting to take my car for a second opinion on the alignment. If you want bad service. This is the place for you. One car in the bay and they said there were too busy to check out my battery. Come back in 2 hours. Came back and finally tested battery for 2 minutes and said it was Good. According to their tester. I said it dies every few days but they did not care . The Tester is what matters. I tried to explain to the tech and their manager. (Steve) When I tried to explain the basics of batteries and how cells all have to function together he just kept trying to stop me and explain it has to be a bad spot on the starter. He said your starter field windings are hitting a bad spot causing the car not to start. He wanted $500.00 to change the starter. WTF .. Then why would it start every time I jumped it?? He refused to honor the warranty and refused to listen . So, where does Tires Plus get these people and how do they train them. They obviously couldn't care less. I took the battery to another shop. They tested it and said it was borderline (BAD). It was replaced and it's been months and not a single problem. It is very sad that such a big company would put these people in charge of a shop with no real training or at the least , no understanding about what they are doing or dealing with. They need new Leadership that cares about their people and will provide the proper training. Not just the technical but the ability to listen to customers and be able to understand that they could be wrong and not just try and make money for no good reason but to cheat the customer. Terrible to say the very least. Was attended in an excellent manner, however, it would only get worse from there. The "technician" (dare I call him that) struggle tremendously to get ONE tired mounted and rotated and put on my car. Not to mention, he left the car in gear on an incline holding the 3,000 pound car solely on the transmission. No ebrake was applied. The tire lube was not cleaned and made the job look half done. It took an hour and a half. Last but certainly not least. Scratched my drivers side door. Orange Fire Pearl paint jobs ARE NOT cheap. Also scratched my 400$ aluminum alloy rim. I have used these guys for routine maintenance, brakes, and tire changes in the past. Overall I find them competent, friendly, and professional. However, I am posting this review specifically to point out a problem that needs attention. I had a tire mounted and installed, and the pressure was wrong. This isn't the first time I have had this happen at this location. I expect this at Sears (and indeed they fail this test)! I don't expect it at Tires Plus, and I am posting this review specifically to give them a heads up on this. You guys could have had 5 stars, but you didn't get it because of such an easy thing! Every single tire tech needs to make it habitual to check the pressure after lower the lift. Anything else is unprofessional! Why I should need to tell y'all this is beyond belief, but experience has taught me that many tire places get this wrong. MY ADVICE TO OTHER CONSUMERS - No matter where you get your tires done, check the pressure *before* you leave the tire place. If you don't have a gauge, you should get one. Proper tire inflation is crucial to proper tire life, and a safety issue as well. read more

Went here because my car was still pulling right after I had an alignment done at another tires plus. They checked it out and said my tie rod ends were damaged. Said they could fix it for $500. I was skeptical so I said no thanks and took the car to my regular mechanic. He said the ends were fine and discovered that the pulling was due to improper wear on my tires (probably due to needing that first alignment). After a tire rotation the car drives straight as an arrow, and no issues. So glad I didn't listen to these guys! read more

Made an appointment online for 4 new tires the next day and arrived 30 minutes ahead in case they could take me early. 1 out of 4 bays had a vehicle but the guy at the counter was irritated that I was there. Started complaining about online appointments and they close at 7 so not enough time, guy at lunch, why am I waiting for it, blah, blah. I said I could go somewhere else and he said OK , so I did. This was the 1st of 4 company vehicles I needed done so NTB ended up with the business. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE EVER...A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!! I came in for brakes and rotors. After checking the brakes they advised me that I would be good to go with only replacing my front brakes and rotors. Sounded great to me! I had an appointment scheduled for 10am they did not even start the brake inspection until 11:30am I did not leave the shop until 2pm. I drove not even a block away and my car is still making the noise it made before as well as a NEW noise. I turned around immediately and went back to the shop and was advised that my car is now making the NEW noise because I need to replace my rear brakes and that they are not trying to scam me. After 7 days I called to see if they had the tires and the employee asked me if I had been called, when I said I had not he said that they must not have come in yet. Enough is enough!
