Just to show you I am not a bot and was actually there. (It was rainy when I got the tires so the invoice paper is all lumpy)

This place is a great place to get a new set of tires. The service was great and the work is professional. Sean was very friendly and helpful in picking the right tires. It is an older "no frills" tire shop and the service and prices are very competitive. I happened to come in without anyone in front of me and was out with a new set of tires in 30 minutes!

Everyone here is super friendly. They had the tires I was looking for at a very reasonable price. They fit me in to get me back on the road. 4 new tires and an alignment. I do recommend stopping in here if you are doing your research for tires.

Another great day of getting excellent service in the neighborhood! I called around to several tire shops after one of my tires had been giving consistent issues week after week. I figured if I can get a diagnostic than I can see what I need to do to prevent having to put air weekly! After calling about a handful of places, I finally got Shawn, one of the managers of Tires Expert to help me out. I explained to him about my tire and he kindly said that he could take a look at it and see what the problem is. He didn't try to upsell or offer me to buy 4 tires for a discounted price, which another store did minutes prior; I didn't need to replace all 4 tires I just needed to fix the 1. He said they weren't busy and that I could just come on by. No more than 20 minutes later, my tire was fixed! He showed me what the problem was: there was a nail in the tire which was causing the leak!! Then he charged me $15.00 for the consult and repair and I was off on my merry way. I didn't get the tech's name who worked on my tire but I want to thank him too along with Shawn who made this effortlessly and also eradicated the nuisance of having to put air every week due to a long daily commute. As Shawn told me, they been in the business for about 20 years and they pride themselves in honest customer service. They don't want to do dishonest work trying to over-charge and make you pay for something that you don't need. I highly recommend this business. They are also one of the only ones in the area open on Sundays!

That was the damaged discovered on my tire! Yikes!

I was honestly in disbelief when they repaired the hole in my tire free of charge. Lou was professional, courteous, and took the time to explain that they've been offering free flat repairs since the company started in the 1960s -- that kind of integrity is rare these days. When I picked up my tire, another associate kindly helped roll it out to my car and even offered an upholstery cover to keep my interior clean. Every interaction felt respectful and thoughtful. I hadn't been there in years, but after this experience, they've absolutely earned my future business. It's great to support a good American company that still stands behind strong values and customer service.

This is an update to my May 6, 2026 review of America's Tire:…read more First off, good old AI changed the name I entered to "Charles Schwab" from Les Schwab. Brokerages don't sell tires! So I actually got a voicemail response from a man at the America's Tire shop. He said to just call him back and they would take care of me. What nobody told him was we originally made our appointment to get our tires checked and rotated because we were driving back to our home the following morning which is in Colorado. There was absolutely nothing he could do for us after the fact. We won't forget sitting in their waiting area for our car to be serviced while walk-in customers who bought new tires go ahead of us even though we had made an appointment. I also won't forget that young man's grin as he told me I would have to pay $130 for new lug nuts (commission) or he wouldn't put my lug nuts he took off back on because of "Safety Concerns". Some things you just don't forget. So what happened with us? I ordered a set of new lug nuts from Amazon and paid extra to have them delivered in three hours. Once they were delivered, this 70 something old man and his slightly younger wife bought a battery powered impact gun and sockets and changed every single lug nut on our car one by one. For the three or four that the socket didn't fit on easily, we used a four way tire iron to remove those by hand. We got it done all by ourselves. Then instead of leaving at eight in the morning as planned, we left at six and towed our long utility trailer behind our car. When we stopped for gas in Nevada, my wife saw a Les Schwab dealer and I drove over and asked how long it would take to rotate our tires. He said no time at all. I showed him we had our twenty foot trailer hooked up and he said still no problem. That guy and a worker used floor jacks and air guns and rechecked the air in all tires plus our four trailer tires in under ten minutes! I tried to tip them twenty bucks but they wouldn't take it. That is the kind of customer service that is hard to find anymore. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Another update: I got a phone call from a guy named Drew but not quite sure because I am hard of hearing, who said he called and I hadn't called him back. I told him I had been driving home to Colorado where we live. That caused him to laugh. When he stopped I told him there was nothing he could do for me as we were now home. I then listed my complaints with the service we received from our appointment. He justified the call his man made about "swollen" lug nuts. I then told him my wife and I changed all twenty and only found three, maybe four, that were enlarged. He then wanted to know if the tires on our car were purchased from them because he couldn't find them listed. I told him we have eight cars and trucks and also get tires from the sister stores, Discount Tire in Colorado Springs - different phone number. Maybe if I hadn't bought the tires from them then the whole complaint is moot. I did ask if their employees work on commission but he said no. My wife later looked the company up on line and the employees do not get direct commission. They do, however, get bonuses based on store sales so they do have incentive to make sure the store makes money. I just want to end this with a shout out to our Discount Tire store we go to in Colorado. They take good care of us. They never charge us for rotations or little things like a broken valve stem. We go in to an appointment and our car is taken right in. They offer bottled water and sodas while we wait. I pay for tire insurance on all tires. Anything wrong they find they are almost apologetic- they have never laughed at us or been disrespectful in any way. Same company, different name, different location, different quality of service

They tried the hard sell on balancing the tires and tried selling me a brand new spare tire and wheel. I just kept saying NO. After my car finally went into a bay, the worker comes in and tells me my lug nuts are "Swollen" and for me to come see. The guy tried to sell me a new set of lug nuts for $130! Then he says he can't even put my lug nuts he took off back on because of "Safety Concerns". I told him to put my car together just like it came in and I would take it somewhere else. Eventually I got my car back. Everything was a hard sell and truth stretching. So then I went to Les Schwab just down the street and told them of my experience. The guys were super nice - no hard sell here. A very polite young man named Jacob checked all the tires and air checked them all. He also checked the lug nuts and did find some that had internal corrosion. He explained that there was a steel living with an aluminum outer shell that can get water or salt inside. A socket might not go on easily. He said he could order a set for us. He was a good guy...no lying about safety and no arm twisting. A respectable guy. The last two sets of tires were purchases and installed at this location. They told us about the tire stud but not about the lug bolt. They said they couldn't fix the broken tire stud there. But they did give us a contact slip to an auto shop in Orangevale that will fix it free of charge. However the place doesn't take walk ins; appointments only. They went on to say it was safe to drive but not for an extended period without getting it fixed. They didn't do a post walkthrough. But we always do. That's when we noticed the stripped lug bolt when we did our own inspection before driving off. So we went back into the shop to ask about that as well. Also they are not able to fix it and need to go the referred auto shop. Needless to say, we didn't feel comfortable going to the referred auto shop. So we went to our own dealership mechanic; he fixed the tire stud and replaced the lug nut for a nominal fee.

I had a tire pressure warning that I've been noticing for about 3 days and had to fill it with air, so figured I had a minor air leak. I tried to book an appointment but they were all booked up for almost two weeks out. They do accept walk ins so I took that chance because I really wanted my tires to get checked out. Brought it in on a Wednesday around 4:30pm. There were a large handle of folks either checking in or picking up and just waiting for their vehicle. The estimated time was given until they would be able to get to my car was around 6:15pm. I opted to stay and wait. I noticed they were moving and getting cars outta there and my car was finally looked at around 5:15pm, not too bad. They told me my wheel had a crack which caused air from my tire to seep out. Although I didn't buy wheels from them, I really just wanted to point out great and quick service I received for being a walk in. I did end up buying wipers since my front were in need of new ones. They had a deal doing on for $12 a wiper with free install. I left there at 5:40pm. Not bad at all.

The mechanic installed the front differential actuator in 4WD while the transfer case was still in 2WD and failed to check that both were matched before installation. Because of that mistake, he blew the bushing, and I had to go buy a new transfer case actuator out of my own pocket because of his carelessness. After their work, my car became hard to reverse, hard to accelerate, revved high just to go about 10 mph, and now I can hear and feel grinding from the drivetrain. None of this was happening before they touched it. Instead of owning their mistake and making it right, they wanted more money to keep working on the mess they created. That is unacceptable. A basic step in this job was making sure both actuators were in the same position before installing the part, and they failed to do that. I brought them a working vehicle, and they returned it damaged.
