This is the worst tire place I've ever worked with. The first tire blew 3 weeks and 1 day after I  purchased them on 94 at 70 miles per hour with no warning. Tiremaxx said that reducing from freeway speeds down to the side of the road and stopping immediately wasn't enough to protect my warranty. When I  asked what was I supposed to do apparently I was supposed to slam on my brakes and stop in the middle of 94 the second it blew. I had the tire changed professionally and the guy said the side wall blew out. I brought it to them right away to fix it or replace it and Tiremaxx fed me more lines of crap about my warranty being voided. They said repeatedly that something had punctured the tire that wasn't there anymore and heavily implied that I had removed it. I did nothing of the sort. The sidewall had completely severred from the rim. Before I even got home from paying for the 5th tire the sensor light was back on. Then Tiremaxx claimed that it was because the car needed to reset the tire sensors when a tire was changed. So I went back and let them reset the sensor. TURNS OUT THEY WERE JUST TRYING TO COVER ANOTHER PROBLEM. By morning the sensor was back. I called a different mechanic and they said the tires were probably installed incorrectly and now that its getting cold they are separating from the rim. He thought I'd need ALL NEW TIRES because left uncorrected they will continue to blow out. I don't know when the next one's going to blow but I need them to fix it and they haven't called me back.  I can't believe that it's this difficult for a tire store to install tires correctly. While I was sitting in there waiting for my new tire yesterday, they said the exact same thing to the customer behind me about their warranty. Do not shop here if you want to be able to drive safely. read more

Great place! Comfy if ya got to hang out. Excellent at answering dumb questions. We wouldn't go anywhere else for our vehicle service.

Their price was about $115 less than my next closest quote and I actually got the tires I wanted! Waiting area was clean and nice looking. Free popcorn and coffee, magazines, the stuff you expect but are still pleasantly surprised to find. It took about an hour and 15 minutes for 4 tires and an alignment but I requested my appointment be an hour earlier than I had previously scheduled. As always I recommend researching tires before you buy! read more

I echo what the others have written. I've been here numerous times over the years for a variety of vehicles and various needs - tires, brake work, oil changes. They do great work, don't try to sell you things you don't need, are friendly and personable, and have a nice waiting area with popcorn, wi-fi, hot chocolate, magazines. The prices have been decent. I've brought my 1979 Ford F-250 here numerous times and they've kept it running. read more

Honest-- another shop found a nail in my tire, said it wasn't repairable and quoted 1k to replace all 4. I brought the car to Tiremaxx and told them that I expected to have to buy 4 tires. Tiremaxx said the tire was repairable and fixed it. $25. Thank you!!! read more

I traveled to St. Joseph to visit a friend at St. Ben's and had engine vibration issues on the way up. My engine light turned on so I drove to Tire Maxx because it was the closest body shop. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They provided prompt service at a moment's notice. The waiting area is top-notch, newly remodeled, with free popcorn, coffee, and wifi. If I ever had any car trouble in the area in the future I would not hesitate to return here for service. read more

I drive from the metro (Maple Grove) to Tiremaxx Service Center in St.Joe for second opinions on any costly repairs, also I have been taking my vehicles to TireMaxx for over 16 years when I lived in the area They are the most dependable and honest service center I have worked with. I was quoted $2500 in the metro for two repairs at a dealership. Tire Maxx took a look and it turned out one repair was completely bogus, and the other repair cost me $350. Great service and free wifi. I could not be any happier. read more

Update: A week or two later I got a call from the service manager who apologized and offered to refund me the cost of balancing my tires. All I paid for was the new tire they replaced. I agreed and thought that was a fair compromise. Impressed. I may now return. read more
