Good prices, but lousy service. Paid $30 to mount & balance two tires. I lost a hubcap less than a mile up the hill. Of course it got run over before I could retrieve it. They blamed it on a faulty hubcap. It's funny that I never had any problems with it for thousands of miles in rain or snow. The next day I drove less than sixty miles and lost the hubcap from the other tire they mounted! The hubcaps cost more than the $30 I paid for the work they performed. I should probably re-torque the lug nuts that they said wouldn't need retightening. Followup: After this review I was contacted by the owner and was referred to the local manager. I got two tires I owned mounted and balanced for free and another $30 off an alignment that is already the lowest price in town. Still not pleased with my original visit, but at least they tried to make it up to me. read more

Got an online quote for tires for a trailer. It included $35 for mount and balance of each tire. The store wanted 30% more for extra fees to mount and balance. These are small unbalanced trailer tires. Facility is unwelcoming, dirty and dishonest. Will not use them again. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. maybe this place can fix a patch or flat, but don't buy and get tires mounted. Paid 1600 for a set of tires on my truck. They did not balance correctly and the truck would vibrate bad at highway speed. I brought the truck back 3 times. The third time they told me I had a bent rim and my ball joints were bad. They insisted this is why I was getting the vibration. I did not believe this clearly because I had them serviced not long ago, come to find out these are common excu small shops make to fool people away from tire issues.They only road forced/ balanced two tires even though the appointment was for all four. They refused to do the rear balanced when pressed. I finally had enough with this shop and brought it to a name brand flagship dealer. After inspectio-No bent rims no bad ball joints. just a really bad match mount and balance job. they fixed the issue in under 2 hours vs bringing it to this tire shop 3 times with no success. Inexperienced younger people with tempers. Won't be back ever again. lesson learned. spend the extra at a place with experienced employees. read more

I got a call back from the store after an online person scheduled me to just get a new tire or repair. I'd bought 4 new tires there a few months ago. The caller told me they were very busy, repeated 3x that they had 25 other cars to see the next day when I was scheduled, and did not offer anything else, but giggled and let the line hang. I said I would wait for him to tell me what was available, or I can go someplace else. He said "I don't appreciate your attitude" and I basically hung up. Customer service is definitely lacking. I was from out of state and my tire kept leaking. I stopped in to get it looked at before I drove 150 miles back home on it. They were very busy but said if I could wait they would take a look. It took awhile but they found a screw and fixed it. The cost was by far the lowest I've ever paid. They were polite, helpful and efficient. I would recommend them! read more

This used to be my go to place for tires. The previous manager here was great but the new manager, Rob is terrible. I made an appointment to go in and have 1 tire moved to a new rim. He couldn't take the time to listen to me, made me feel like I didn't know what I was talking about and then started bad mouthing me to the next customer. I lost it after that, demanded my keys back, had a few choice words for him and left. This past year I've spent $2500+ with them and now will never return there. Rob should not be handling customers, he's stressed and flat out rude to customers. Too bad the old manager left, he was great and always helpful. No more TW for me. read more

Updated for accuracy: I can't tell you how disappointed I am with Tire Warehouse in Lewiston. They used to be our go-to place for tires, but more importantly for quality service. Most recently, we have ordered new snow tires for two of our vehicles in early October 2024 and scheduled an appointment for one in early November (3 weeks later). At that appointment, we were told that the order was never placed (while another front end agent later told us the order was placed but "bumped" to another location). So, we placed another order for the same tires (Nov 6) for installation on Nov 13 - had to cancel, we were told the tires weren't in. Apparently - wait - the tires for one of our vehicles HAD arrived and we successfully had them installed on Nov 20. At that appointment, we were told that the tires for the other vehicle were RIGHT THERE, IN THE STORE (tech apparently pointed them out to my wife). We scheduled an appointment for the second car (Nov 26) only to be told AGAIN that the tires were not there - apparently, the order to "bumped back" again - which of course makes no sense given that one week earlier we were told that the tires were in the shop (unless they sold the tires to someone else). By the way, we are not talking about highly specialized tires either (Michelin). Throughout all of this, there was barely an apology or even an acknowledgement of an inconvenience. While I try to be understanding with staffing challenges, etc., the service here is not nearly up to standards. One of the things I value(d) most about Tire Warehouse was that if we had an issue we could stop at any number of them around the state for help and service. It is at the point that I'm not convinced that value exists any longer. We are going to work with other vendors in the area. It would take A LOT for us ever to go back to Tire Warehouse in Lewiston. read more

It was my understanding this business in Lewiston was/is under new management. If they are, they leave a lot to be desired. Their prices are outrageously expensive for an alignment and balancing of tires. In my opinion, they have just joined the ranks of a very long list of shysters of which this State is mainly (no pun intended) comprised. When you come to Tire Warehouse you should expect that it's literally that: a warehouse of tires. Rows and rows and rows of tires for every make and model of car imaginable. Is it the cleanest place? No, but would you want it to be? That's like going to a dentist who has yellowing teeth - it doesn't make sense. You want your dentist to have a perfect smile, and for your a mechanic or tire people to smell like oil and rubber and car. So the "waiting room", which is really just a bunch of raggedy chairs set away from the tires, is nothing spectacular. But... The customer service? Impeccable. And isn't that what you're paying for anyway (well, and for new tires). Whenever I've been here, I've been treated like an absolute princess. They don't try and take advantage of me (for my lack of knowledge or gender [an unfortunate stereotype of women-dealing-with-cars that still applies in this day and age]) and they don't talk at/around/down to me. AND... they're genuinely nice employees to boot. I like that it always feels like I'm dealing with real people who care about me (a real person). And the tires? Quality. The price? OUT OF THIS WORLD. I don't know if they still do it, but whenever I needed new tires, I would call Tire Warehouse first to ask them what the price would be. I would then call around to all the other tire places in the area to get their prices. If anyone was cheaper, I would tell Tire Warehouse that. Not only would they MATCH that other businesses prices... they usually would also throw an additional discount in, too. What?! What is that?! It feels like the glorious days of the late 1950's/early 1960's when bartering was still very much part of business. If you need new tires and you're in the area... THIS is the place you want to go. I got my car to Tire Warehouse. I have always gone to tire warehouse for my tire needs. Recently I went in to have my tire plugged and even though they were extremely busy I was acknowledged right away. I was tended to in a short amount of time and taken care of. The next day I had to return because there was another two punctures in my tire that were not found during my first visit. Ethan took right care of me, took the time to show me where my first puncture was plugged and where my two other punctures were found. I was offered a large discount for having to come back.
