Appointments don't mean anything. And they do shoddy work. I scheduled an appointment and was told to estimate an hour to an hour and a half for the service. The entire process ended up taking over 3 hours. After 45 minutes of waiting they still hadn't brought my car back until I went and asked about it and they were surprised and pulled it back immediately. When asking for time updates they told me the step they were on and then 45 minutes later I asked again and they were just now actually moving to the step they said they had already started. In general it seems they have incredibly poor time management and a communication breakdown. Changing two tires, an oil change, and an alignment check shouldn't take 3 hours. After a day my car started pulling very hard to the right again. I made an appointment and called to confirm that morning and then again when I was on my way. Upon arriving they told me they just took a walk in back for an alignment so it would be 30 minutes before they could get my car. I asked why have appointments and he couldn't understand the question and that they're wasting my time despite having an appointment and confirming twice. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

Beware. Got a new set of tires but they slid in a $219.00 "protection package" without telling me. My fault for not checking the invoice. I called the warranty company and they did allow me to cancel it. I should have known when they handed me the invoice all folded up instead of just the normal way. Shady. Brought in my new rims to get tires mounted and balanced. The aftermarket rims I have are not cheap and the tech did a very good job of taking care of them and not scratching them! When I arrived it was close to the end of the day but they stayed a little after closing time to make sure my wheels were ready to get picked up. The service manager over there, I believe it was John, awesome guy very kind and gives good customer service and is straight forward. Definitely going here for now on to get tires. read more

These people ripped my husband off. He is 70 and sickly. Sold him a tire because of nail. Next day we found a racer blade in another tire went back they suggested he buy two new back tires. Today we found another bolt in the first tire they replaced. These tires are four hundred a piece and run-flats. The new bolt in the new tires they sold us just so happens to be unfixable and we need another new tire. They are scammers we are pressing charges. . read more

I spoke to John at the largo branch. I was told over the phone that they had a veteran's discount. I'm a disabled veteran, so I thought this would be a good deal. I told John the make and model of my car, he quoted me a price. I get there and suddenly it's the wrong mode. surprise he wants me to pay more. I'm ready to go, but he says I can get a tire from another store. So I say ok. Now I have to get my wife to drive me back ( I'm low vision and walk with crutches, can't drive) So, go back later that day, " oh it was busy, I couldn't go get the tire" come back tomorrow and I'll have it! Next day same thing! Finally went to Walmart and got the tire for cheaper( had to wait 3 days for them to get it in) The thing that piss me off the most is these people who say " Thank you for your service" as they try to fuck you over! I have never known a veteran who asked for a thank you! Right or wrong we answered our country's call We were proud to serve our country and we don't require a "Thank You"! But if you are going to thank us ( we do appreciate it) don't use " thank you for your service" As a way to scam those of us who fought for our freedoms! It's mainly the guy that answers the phone and quotes. When you enter the store you'll be addressed like a number. He is shouting and you stand right next to him. He justifies his lame behavior and professionalism by saying he's multi tasking. Don't go here. Go somewhere else. You'll be happier and better off. read more

Had a tire replaced and technicians left this huge screw hanging above my brand new tire. Thank goodness something told me to look there and I removed it before it ruined my brand new tire. Very shady business in office as well. Doesn't like to honor promotions until you push the issue. Go elsewhere if you want good work done! read more

I called to get a price on a replacement run-flat tire for my wife. John, the manager, gave me a quote and I thought it to be quite expensive. I told him I was just going to buy a tire from Tire Rack and to his credit he tried to price match them but could not. He did mention that I could ship the tire to him and he would install it...I took this option and made an appointment for 10am two days later. The following day, I called to confirm the appointment as my wife was going to the store by herself and wanted to make sure there were not hiccups (once again I spoke to the manager John to make the appointment). On the day of the job, my wife arrived promptly at 10am to have the ONE tire installed.... to my surprise she was there 1 and 1/2 hours for a 15 minute job that she had an appointment for. Upon her arrival, John the manager said they had no record of her appointment and they would "squeeze her in". Once again, keep in mind that this is to install only one tire which should take no more than 15 minutes and you don't even have to put the car on the rack. Needless to say, once my wife told me of her negative experience in spending 1 and 1/2 hours getting one tire installed i called John the manager. Upon getting him on the phone, he said that he did not have an appointment for my wife and had no idea who I was! We had two telephone conversations prior to the appointment which lasted at least a total of 15 minutes! We were having one run-flat tire installed and I made the appointment with him directly. He was quite smug to me and acted like he did us a favor by being able to install the tire (remember, I had a 10am appointment and my wife didn't leave until 11:30). Finally, when my wife did get home, she had to scrub all of the grease and fingerprints off of her wheel as the tire installer didn't take any care to clean off his mess. My vehicle desperately needed an alignment. Everyone was friendly and courteous. Dan fixed my alignment and I have waited over a month to write this review to be sure. Really good service, fast and work (balance/alignment) seems fine. However - the "tire hazard warranty" is not worth it - I had one tire replaced and it ended up costing $200 out of pocket on a $250 tire. Absolutely avoid road hazard, not worth it. I subtracted one star because they installed incorrect load rating on one tire, and I had to pay for installation. Prices seem to be full retail (on premium tires). read more

Wow do NOT go to tire kingdom. They will just rip you off. I ordered a porshe rim, just one, for $800 and they said it would be there in 3 days and went to get it they said it wasn't in the system and we showed the receipt and they still gave us a hard time so we were going to call the cops and they finally reordered it and said 3 more days so we came back to them STILL saying it was not in the system but my bf saw the rim sitting there and they put us through some S*** after paying that much money for a Porsche rim. fuel system issue repair 3 different times after the initial repair. Towed back to store twice. Twice fuel pump that they replaced fell off as I drove and new gas line they installed fell off. Calling corporate is useless as they say they will return your call but never do. read more

Fist, they never called to tell me the car was done (drop-off) until almost two hours after the agreed-upon completion time. This is the third time that the wheel cover nuts were not completely and correctly tightened after a tire rotation. When I asked about the brake pad measurements, I was told the tech didn't note them. When the counter guy went to ask, he came back and told me "4mm rear, 5mm front" - which I know was an absolute lie, since the front pads have less than 500 miles on them. Last two or three visits, manager tried to sell me an inner tie rod end because "It's getting dangerous." I know better. This visit, nothing was said. When I asked specifically about the tie rods, I was told "Nope, they're fine." If this place wasn't right across the street from my office, I'd not use them, and I will never recommend them to anyone else. I have taken to marking my tires to be SURE they get rotated, and checking my oil before I leave the parking lot to be SURE it was actually changed and filled to capacity. read more

The mechanics know what they're talking about, not sure if there was miscommunication but the front desk guy definitely tried selling me on the idea that something was wrong with my car which contradicted what the mechanic said and it would cost me $400 to fix when nothing was wrong and I confirmed it by going to my trusted family mechanic. read more
