I recently visited Jiffy Lube at 13763 Walsingham Rd, Largo, FL 33774, for an oil change. I specifically asked them to check my coolant levels since my temperature gauge was high. However, it appears the staff didn't even bother to check my fluid levels as requested and supposedly part of the 75 dollar service. Two weeks later, my engine light came on due to low coolant. When I returned, the assistant manager took responsibility, apologized, and added coolant at no extra cost. To others, I'd advise being proactive - when asking for a specific check, like coolant levels, ask the technician to show you the levels and explain the check process. Also, confirm what's included in the service and get it in writing before paying to avoid similar issues." The Internet says 50% off. Then you get the coupon it's $26 off. Oil change is $133-26. Not this particular location only, this is for any and all jiffy lube . Thankfully, the gentleman told me the price before proceeding. I left. The location was great, the advertising terrible for headquarters. read more

Stopped in to have tires rotated and they checked wear, indicating it wasn't needed yet. They also walked me through the process so I'm able to know when to have serviced. read more

My father took his little Ford pickup truck to get a oil change and we usually use a different service but he thought he would give them a try he thought had a common courtesy that you would tell him how to do it the other place has you drive in they were very rude to him they yelled at him he didn't understand they weren't very polite yes if they would check a few things and they told him no they didn't even check the air in the tires both me and him will never go there again that's how you treat Vietnam veterans it's not right read more

I honestly can't say anything bad about my service. I was in and out pretty quick. The 3 guys working were nice. The manger told me my battery was very low and he wanted to change it but I could not spend over 300 at jiffy. Haha So I headed to go get a new battery after my great experience. I saw a few bad reviews, but everyone has a job a quota they have to meet. They might try to charge you and up charge you a ton of things, but remember they work for someone too. Went there on last Friday and I had an oil and now after few days for some reason it's been leaking/ dripping every day leaving stains on my driveway. I went in to another location of jiffy lube and they found the skid plate having oil left there from what it looks like when the oil change was done. So now I had it cleaned, hopefully no leak. Will see. Next time please don't rush and just do a good job since you guys were not busy at all and I was the only client there in the morning read more

Got superior service when I visited this shop the other day for an oil and filter change. I've been to other JL's in different states. This one stands out. I was 'offered' other services like air filters, but I did need one. No pushing items that weren't necessary. Thank you to the team. They also left a handwritten thank you note in my car! Try them out. You can always find something cheaper, but this is a local shop with good people. read more

My wife recently stopped in the Jiffy Lube in Largo, Fl. on East Bay Dr. for a quick oil change. She told them she just wanted to use regular oil and gave them the specs. Twenty minutes later they handed her a bill for $78.07 !! Their service included the basics, oil, filter, check fluids and tires. (  Oh and they vacuumed the floor, something the bill says is a "complimentary service" And washed the outside of the windows.) They only topped off her window washer fluid. No other extras or fluids were used !! In all my years of driving ( I'm 72 years old )  I've NEVER paid more than $30 for an oil change like this !  What is Jiffy Lube trying to pull !! My guess is that they saw and  "old lady" in an older car and decided to get every nickel they could by calling it "Signature Service " !!  What a joke !  Never again !! read more

Last week, I went to Jiffy lube at 13763 Walsingham Rd, in Largo FL. for a simple oil change, noticed that the employees did not wear masks. They tried to sell me a new air filter which I changed myself a couple weeks prior, then they told me that they could not change my oil because my drain plug was stripped from the prior oil change which was done at the dealership. The Jiffy Lube employee said he was unable to do anything to help me, so I went to Take5 down the street, and explained the situation. They took care of me, got the stripped plug and replaced it for free. They showed me the drainplug, they said it had just been stripped and was just after leaving Jiffy Lube. Bad business, not recommended. read more

Stay away! These guys broke off the wheel locks on my jeep and then told me to take it to jeep dealer and that I had to pay. That's right they broke my jeep and then said we didn't mean to and refused to pay for damage. Beware!!!! read more

Do not go here. The upsales are Rediculous Went for oil change. First the don't accept jiffy lube coupons. 20 dollar oil change is 43. After the oil change they told me my battery was weak but battery is 3 months old wipers were bad but I just put them on yesterday and I had power steering leak along with radiator leak that needed to be addressed. Went to mechanic after I left there an his advice was to stay away from there all they do is try to force unneeded repairs. Car parked on white sheet for last three days there are no leaks STAY AWAY. I'm shaking I am so mad at this place right now. I pulled up to get a quick oil change for a decent price. What I got was a migraine and an upset stomach. They told me that my oil change would be a $100! My car is only a year old and there is nothing wrong with it. I have never even paid half of that for an old change. I told them never mind I just won't get one that day since the dealership is far less expensive. They told me that they already dumped my oil out and it would be at least $50 to put in an oil that wasn't recommended for my car. I asked why they dumped my oil out before I approved any work done and their response was that that is the only way to get it done in a jiffy. This place is running a total scam. read more

STAY AWAY from this location and any Jiffy Lube location owned by South Bay Lube, Inc. on the west coast of FL. I got an oil change on my 2002 Malibu which I later learned had some rusted brake parts. Once they pulled my car forward it was clearly leaking brake fluid. I did not feel that I was treated very well, since I was asked to get my car out of the way even though it had a totally limp brake pedal. Long story short, I complained but let up when my mechanic said it was a problem waiting to happen. What really ticked me off was that South Bay Lube, Inc. would NOT refund the $25 I paid for the oil change. On principle, I am genuinely upset. Between being treated rudely and then having to buy a new car, I have decided to avoid South Bay Lube and Jiffy Lube locations altogether. In my opinion, its safer to take your vehicle elsewhere. read more
