I have used JUST TIRES for years as it is close to my home. The owner is always eager to help and help with tires. (don't do balancing though). Now I found they are owned by Largo Auto Center where I get my oil changed (another great place- one man biz, professional and courteous). Recently my son was told (car dealership of course) that he needed 2 new tires. I suggested he go to JUST TIRES. He did and the guy told him he had another 10,000- 15,000 miles left on his tires. But, he did give him a quote for new tires which was less expensive than other places he checked. Not sure what went wrong here, called this place after some research through reviews and heard good things. The man who answered the phone was extremely rude when inquiring for a price on tire rotation and balancing. Instead of simply answering the question I was repeatedly question about what could be causing it (I mentioned in my initial statement to him that the car was wobbling at 70). I informed him I had the car looked at several times and there was no other issue and I was told by a trusted mechanic it's a tire balancing issue. basically the phone call ended with me still not getting a price and simply being told they are open 8-5... i hung up feeling very uncomfortable and needing to call my other mechanic to make sure I'm not making some mistake. read more

I thought I had a slow leak in one of my tires. I brought my car here and they determined that there were no nails or punctures by visually inspecting and then removing and submerging the tire. I never got out of the car they lifted the car enough to check the tire purchase put air on it. Charge me for a plug. I didn't know any better I thought perhaps this is something new they can plug the tire without taking the tire off. The tire continued to lose air. I took it back they did the same procedure then proceeded to take the tire off to tell me there was a nail in it and wanted to charge me again. I told them no. Places like this make me glad I live in Pinellas County. I rolled up to the place without an appointment and sad about the state of my tire. They looked at it and immediately said, "There's a nail in it." I said, "How'd you know just like that there's a nail in it?" He said, "Because I seen it." He then had me back up a few inches. Another guy came around and filled up the tire. He pulled the nail out, pulled out a glue gun type thing and plugged up the hole and it was fixed in about 5 minutes- they didn't even have to take the tire off! It was only $10 so I gave 'em a tip. So I went off of Yelp and was not disappointed! They had the best rating from anywhere in the area and I seewhy. They were super quick and efficient. I called first and didn't even need to. I literally pulled up and there was someone there to greet me and was literally down selling me on tires. He told me I had plenty of tread and I was ready to buy two or four brand new ones! The used tires I bought both separated in about a month of local driving. I went over to Tire Kingdom to figure out what happened. They showed me the date on the tires. The used tires were over 8 years old. Told me they should have never been on the road and very dangerous. Also there are NO Laws in Florida that prevent all the Used Tire places from selling used tires that are aged. I'll never go back here, they should know better, putting people lives at risk. Taking money over safety is just wrong. Be Careful people. For my peace of mind and my family's I will only buy NEW tires from now on. read more

I ignored a low rear tire until it blew, because frankly I'm a lazy tightwad. Suddenly forced to deal with the problem, I came here because it had the best Yelp reviews (by a landslide) in the tire repair search. This place made me so happy, it was all I could do not to wet myself! No joke. I was delighted that these people weren't like the greedy, upselling twats at big chain tire/auto shops. They didn't try to sell me 4 new tires, they just addressed the problem I had, and for a GREAT price I might add. They were also courteous (another rarity in auto places) enough not to make me feel stupid for not bringing the rim with me on the first trip. They were fast too! I spoke with the owner while waiting, a very straightforward, down to earth, helpful man. At the end the technician pointed out that my front tires were also getting worn, and he actually SHOWED me so I knew it wasn't BS to make a sale. I will gladly return in the future for those tires. This week I had the unfortunate incident of realizing my tire was quickly losing air due to a tiny nail hiding on the inner side wall. Upon plugging the leak, I also realized that all 4 tires were borderline dry rotted. Fantastic *insert sarcasm here*. i have a 2007 Santa Fe and i thought the tires were bad because they spin sometimes when the roads are wet. I showed up and asked for new tires, the manager came to look at the tires and told me i have about 20,000 more miles before i need new ones. He showed me on the tires where they have a little guage that you can see when they need to be replaced. He was super nice and I save a few hundred bucks. i know nothing about cars/tires so it's nice to deal with a guy who would turn away money and do the right thing. I had been told by the dealership that a tire had a nail on an edge and it couldn't be repaired. They wanted to replace the tire. Also was told I had dry rot. Went to Just Tires and they rotated the tires (front to back/back to front) which should've been done 10k miles ago (dealer didn't mention it). They found the nail but it was just a fragment and hadn't gone deep enough to cause a leak so they were able to remove it. Also, said tires looked normal for the State I'm in (FL) and the tread was good so it's ok. Awesome! Service was fast. They were very knowledgeable and it was super reasonable. read more
