On Friday, our Hood to Coast van picked up a chunk of metal on the road. It was getting to the point where we needed to find a flat spot to pull over to put on the spare, as we were not going to make it to Sandy. Not ideal for a 15 passenger van coming off the mountain. Luckily we came across The Tire Guys right in the nick of time and John was able to repair our tire and get us back on the road without slowing down our team. They really saved us! I have a F150 and was having issues with no traction from my 1 year old expensive tires I bought elsewhere. I found out the all terrain tires were actually mud tires and the other shop would not fix their mistake. I called the Tire Guy to tell him the issue I was having and he knew right away how to help. He ordered a new set of tires for me that are all terrain and snow rated. But instead of pushing the tires on me, he gave me all of the information and requested I look at reviews and videos to make sure I would like them. I called back and within a business day he had the new tires on my truck. He also gave a military discount to help out on costs. I absolutely love the tires and had a great experience. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The is also the new owner who took over and the quality and care shows. I have been getting my tires from the Tire Guy for four years, and I plan to continue buying from him for many years to come. I've purchased used and new tires, have had alignments and rotations, as well as repairs done here. They carry great products at a very reasonable price, and the customer care and service is top notch. Even though I only go in once or twice a year, the owner and employees know me and remember me and we share a nice rapport. They are loyal to their customers and I'll be loyal to them. Very happy with the all season Nokian tires made in Finland. They handle the snow, slush, ice, and water of the PNW, as well as wet and dry asphalt, mud and dirt. I left these tires on over the summer and while they did wear a little faster on hot asphalt, they carried me through the year. Just bought a brand new set for this winter. Seriously these guys saved my butt. Tire pressure warning goes off on the way home from mirror lake. Pulled over near sandy , OR. Tire had a huge chunk out of the sidewall. Wow. So, I bought a new-to-me SUV a few days ago. I work in Portland and live in Sandy. I was heading home on hwy 26, merrily speeding along in the left hand lane, when all of a sudden I hear a tremendous WHUP WHUP WHUP WHUP WHUP from the right rear, and I began to lose control. Terrified, I slowly pulled over. Major tire tread separation on the right rear. It was about 5 minutes to 6, and frantically I started racking my brain to try to figure out who to call. As luck would have it, my pre-owned SUV came without a spare. I was still shaking like crazy and I couldn't think. Finally it hit me- I'd bought a used tire from Tire Guy before and it was a pretty good deal, so I Googled them on my phone. It was now 5:58, and I saw from Google that they closed in 2 minutes. Taking a gamble, I decided to call them. Casey answered the phone. I identified myself and he remembered me! I told him that I'm in a bad spot and I wasn't sure who else to call. He popped off immediately with something humorous, such as he thought I should start with the state police, Child Protective Services, and the FBI. This gave me a much needed laugh. Then I explained my situation. I was still about a half mile west of Sandy, and I was stranded with a major blowout and no spare. He promised to call me right back. Guess what? The owner showed up at 6:24 with one of his employees, and a mounted used tire with really good tread. I called them, at closing time, and they went way, way out of their way to find me a tire and wheel, and come rescue me. Even though that is not a service they normally offer. Since the shop was closed, I couldn't pay, so they kindly asked me to drop them a check in their mailbox the next morning, for a very reasonable price. I love these guys. I am not a rich woman, so when I need tires on a vehicle I generally go used. They have earned a customer for life in me. I have rarely experienced such wonderful customer service. They saved my bacon, and a stranded, terrified woman from the side of busy highway 26. read more

Went in to Les Schwab and waited 2 hours before they told me they didn't have any used tires for my Subaru. The guy there reluctantly told me to try Tire Guy, who had me in and out in less than 20 minutes with a new tire for only $40! Great place! read more

This company sold my 22 year old daughter a set of studded snow tires... after a blow out and damage to her car, we found out these tires were 14 years old!!!! The other 3 tires started falling apart, this was within a month of her purchasing these tires!!! Horrible business practice!!! We were fortunate my daughter was not injured,, I want to make sure they don't do this again to anybody else! read more
