Well, I had to visit there yesterday. Spent two hours waiting for someone because of a bad tire that had put a spare on and order a tire for me to come back the next day. Fast forward to today I get there at 4 PM today and I finally have my tire ready at 5:20. So a total time of three hours and 20 minutes to get one new tire installed. Do you see anything wrong with this picture? I have complained they're super busy all the time I get it, but there are certain jobs that are much easier and faster than others. It just seems that could change their process to help everyone. It's terrible that you should have to wait three hours to get one tire changed. And as everyone knows nowadays, tires are not cheap. I feel like we're getting taken not just in the price of tires, but in the labor factor as well. read more

I made a 8 o'clock reservation. After an hour and a half, my truck sat just where I left it. After talking to the manager (Charlie) finally it was being worked on. Jennifer was the one who took my keys and paperwork. Three hours later I got my car back. No explanation on why my car was over looked. No accountability. I ever gave to crew a dozen donuts as a why to be remembered. Charlie was empathetic and apologetic. He tried his best but, no one likes to waste their time. I hate to tarnish the reputation of a local busines, but I recently found this shop not to be very honest. I brought my truck in to have the tires inspected because I was hearing quite a bit of thumping from the front tires. They told me that the drivers front tire needed to be replaced. The young lady at the front desk told me that if I didn't replace all 4 tires at $200 each, that it wouldn't drive well down the road. Not being my first experience with this, I knew that was not the case and walked away. After visiting a competitor who was running a sale, fully expecting to buy a set of tires, the competitor told me that all I needed was to rotate my tires which they did happily at no charge. Eventually I called and asked how much longer until my car would be ready, and they said they hadn't even started on it because they were "so backed up". They said they wouldn't have time to get to it that day, so I came and picked it up. Complete and total waste of my time. I scheduled an appointment apparently for no reason. No apology or anything. I had an appointment scheduled for as soon as they opened at 8am. I asked how long it'd take and never got an answer. It's 9:15 and my car still hasn't even made it into the bay. Come to find out, the master technician just decided to show up. This is the 2nd Saturday that I've seen this happen in 4 weeks. Chase was very frustrated when it happened the first time cause it was super busy that day and it limited his capabilities to serve clients the right way. I left Firestone cause I was tired of getting price gouged, but honestly my time is worth just as much to me as my money is, if not more. There needs to be a discussion with the master technician on whether or not he truly cares about the customers. Everyone in the front (Charlie, Aaron, Jennifer, Chase) are always very kind and helpful. But the master technician is making them, and the company, look bad. Even though today was 2 star experience, I know you all are better than this, so I'm going to still leave 3 stars. Just work on improving this part of the process. DO NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!!!!! my mother and i made morning appointments for 8/12 @9am! said it'd take about 2 3-4 hours in total. perfectly fine! it's two cars. neither one of our cars were touched before 10. we came in at 10:15 after walking to the petc, and said one of the cars needed to be done by 11 because we have to work. one of the workers said it'd be done in 30 minutes. at 10:56 they come inside and tell my mom they don't have enough time to do our oil change today because they were trying to get other cars done. which is kind of funny because we scheduled our appointments for an oil change, new tires, alignments. so why would you not do that at the least before moving onto another car? we said it was fine just to get the cars done asap. while i'm sitting here typing this they come out of the shop and tell me my breaks are bad and ask if i want to get them replaced??? which is only INSANE. because you just told me you didn't have enough to even do my oil change?? we said no of course because it's now after 11:00 am and i have to leave for work as soon as possible. we will not be making appointments here in the future to say at the least read more

I bought this car in for a "free alignment." Of course, it's only true if you buy four tires for them otherwise it's $130. But that's not my real beef, they called me and told me that I need to be her brakes and that I was almost metal upon metal. And that was gonna cost me 600 bucks. I brought them home and pulled off the wheels and looked at the brakes myself and they were less than half gone. Here's the new brake pads versus the old ones which they told me were nearly down to the metal. Not going back. read more

so! I went here for tires and an alignment and an oil change. I got a good deal, but it took 3hours and 15 minutes to get it done. The tires alone took almost 2 hours to do. I have done tires and there is no reason for this. I watched and there were no problems with removal of the tires/Lug nuts. It seemed they wanted to talk more than work. They actually could have done the oil change while the other guy was doing the tires. Then they did the alignment and "couldn't get it "quite right" but said it would be good. Had to come right back in and put it back on the rack. The steering wheel was WAY off. Was told I guess they didn't have it straight on the rack. Whole lot of non-caring about their job here. The lady in the front seemed annoyed by everything and all she wanted to do was go out and smoke except when she went to the bathroom and smoked in there. Smelled of smoke and left ashes in the sink. This will probably be the last time I go here. Good deal? yes. Other than that, I would rather pay more for more competent employees. read more

I hit a pothole on my way home during a storm and it popped my tire. I called the next day and Jennifer was very nice on the phone. I then dropped my solo tire with Mat and he had that tire done before I left the shop to run errands. Jennifer was very helpful and resourceful with getting me the best deal possible. My husband took my car in for rotation and balance. That's a free service since we bought tires there. They recommend we get new tires, brake pads and rotors. Took my car to my mechanic for a second opinion, and he said the tires are still good for 10K, rotors are completely fine and the pads were not quite ready yet either. They wanted us to spend $1500, and none of it was needed. Ridiculous! I'll buy my tires elsewhere from now on. I HATE when people try to rip me off! read more

I took the car in to get the rotors and brakes replaced. I supplied the rotors and brakes. They manage to break the sensor. They managed to not put the caliper on correctly and they cause more damage than they fixed. I would not recommend you taking the car to this to this to this company based on my experience with him today I don't know if I'll ever use them again. read more

He looked at my car and they were able to rule out what was wrong with my car. For example, your service desk wanted to charge me $580 for discs, rotors, and labor... I'm gonna get it done for $380. But, thank you for telling me what's wrong. Spoke with someone on the phone. Payed for the tires upfront so they could have them shipped from there warehouse. Guy on the phone said I would need a new spare tire carrier on my jeep jk to accommodate the larger tire. And said that they would be able to install. All down hill from there. Purchased a nice easy to install smittybilt oversized tire carrier. Get to the shop and am told yes at the desk. They new I was going to have to sit wait for it and didn't touch the car for the first 1hr 15mins I was there. Arrived at 8 when they opened as instructed. Then when they pull the car back, one of the older mechanics looks at the box and just starts shaking his head, no. About 10 mins later they came out and said they would not be able to install it because they didn't want to "damage" the vehicle. After being there for 3 hours! Just for a tire swap that the guy told me would take an hour half, they pull my car around up front. Without the locking lug nut key no longer in the glove box. I then had to tell them, it wasn't there. No apology or anything for any of this stuff. I watched many videos on the install and it didn't take longer than 1hr and 30min to install for guys at home in there garages. But it was to much for this place? Very unhappy to say the least. I wish there was a review like this one so I didn't go give this place my money. Big waste of my time and energy. They sent me off with the spare tire in the trunk of my car on my dogs mat without any plastic or anything underneath it. And I would have left without the lug key if I didn't double check my glove box. If I would have drove off I wouldn't know about until I had a tire issue of some sort. Ridiculous!!!! read more

Great shop if you need work done. Was told our alignment was off and we needed a new tire at a different shop nearby. Drove to Tire Discounters hoping to make an appointment because it was less than an hour before closing time. Instead they got us in replaced 2 tires (never buy just 1) and did an alignment to make sure we didn't have the same issue moving forward. Would highly recommend them if you need something done with your car. read more

After they figured out it was the water pump, I realized it was covered under my extended warranty. I would not even give Tire Discounters one star but it makes you. I thought this was resolved as I was contacted in July 2001 by Roy Warner, Operations Manager for Tire Discounters. He apologized and offered to make it right by replacing the tires. I told him I apppreciated it and I would accept but it would be awhile before I needed any. He assured me that the offer would still be there when I needed it. Fast forward to the June 2022. I called Roy Warner and told him I would like to now except the offer. He said he would check on it and gues what? HE VANISHED. He does not answer the phone 615-393-4923 when I call nor does he return my call when I leave a message. I have been nothing but respectful to the company and Roy Warner through this whole ordeal. Unfornately it has not been returned. So again I have the same review as 2001. They not only lie about their work they do but they lie about making it right later. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Here is the orginal review since it did not show up: Where do I start? There are so many reasons to find another place that is an honest company unlike the Spring Hill TN location. It started with my husband becoming suspicious that the last time we had our oil changed and a tire rotation that the tires were not rotated as said. So on Thursday I asked my husband to give Tire Discounters one more chance since I could do both an oil change and tire rotation saving me time. He agreed but this time he marked the tire in front without their knowledge. Sure enough after waiting an hour the oil was "supposedly" changed but as my husband suspected the tires were not rotated. Upon questioning the manager the manager went promptly to the technician who admitted he did not rotate the tires but could not come up with a reason why. What? How about lazy? Unfortunately this is probably at least the second time this has happened causing my tires to wear uneven. This is perfect for them since you guessed it making them more money faster should I have chosen to buy the tires there. Please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. On my drive home I noticed there was a weird "thump thump thump" indicating something was stuck in one of my tires. Upon inspection there was a chunk of metal sticking out of the rear passenger tire! Great!! I figured it was too late to get it fixed, most of the other tire shops were closing soon. Decided to give Tire Discounters a call to see if they could help me out despite it being late in the day. Lee answered the phone and told me to bring it on over. I was greeted by Lee again when I arrived and he was just as friendly and helpful as he was on the phone. They got strait to work and patched my tIre in about 30 mins. I went up to pay and was told "ahh don't worry about it!" I couldn't believe it! They've earned themselves a customer for life.
