I was looking for four new tires for my truck, which is no small investment. After checking Costco and finding they didn't have the tires I wanted, I came across Tire Discounters in Spring Hill. Around 8:00 p.m. the night before, I used their website to schedule an appointment for the following morning. Truthfully, I was a little skeptical about booking four tires entirely online without speaking to anyone. I half expected a call first thing the next morning telling me the tires weren't actually in stock. Thankfully, that wasn't the case. I called that morning to confirm both the appointment and the tires, and everything was ready to go. The gentleman I spoke with was very helpful and recommended that I drop the truck off rather than wait. I appreciated the courtesy and realistic expectation up front instead of finding that out after I arrived. A few of Tire Discounters' benefits were also a big reason I chose them. The free full synthetic oil change with the purchase of four tires, lifetime tire rotations, and the other included services will add up to real savings over the life of the tires. My appointment was at 10:30 a.m., and I was checking out with four brand-new tires before 3:00 p.m. on a Friday going into a three-day holiday weekend. That was impressive. Every interaction I had was pleasant. Mr. Thomas helped me at checkout and was especially helpful. He took the time to explain the benefits included with my purchase, how I would be contacted regarding the free oil change and wheel alignment, and even walked through the charges on my receipt so I understood where the money was going. He didn't have to spend that extra time with me, but his knowledge and confidence in explaining everything made the experience that much better. The tires themselves are a major upgrade for my truck. With fall and winter weather coming, I feel much better about having my kids in the truck when we start dealing with heavy rain, cold temperatures, and icy roads. In the end, I'm actually glad Costco didn't have the tires I wanted. What might have looked like savings up front would not have compared well once I factored in everything Tire Discounters included with the purchase. Great experience from scheduling through checkout, and I would absolutely use the Spring Hill location again.

Here is the timeline of what happened: **May 18:** I brought my car in for a new set of tires. Guy calls my wife and says there are only three options: for $1,200, $1,400, and/or $1,600. I call back and caught them trying to scam us. The most common tire choice came out to around $800. **May 19:** My wife drove the car to Florida and immediately noticed that the car was shaking and vibrating throughout the entire trip. Imagine driving hundreds of miles in a car that feels like something is wrong with it immediately after having new tires installed. **May 25:** I brought the car back to have the issue addressed. They found that all four wheels had been improperly balanced, one tire had not been seated on the rim correctly, and one rim was bent. I explained that the bent rim needed to be fixed, so they sent it to their "rim guy." Somehow, he managed to make the rim worse. While chatting, there is rap music blasting from the garage with swear words being sang every other word. My 10 year old standing right next to me..... **June 9:** Tire Discounters purchased a replacement rim and rebalanced all four wheels. I picked up the car expecting the problem to finally be resolved. It wasn't. The car was STILL shaking and vibrating. **July 13:** I dropped the car off first thing in the morning for them to investigate the problem again. By 5 p.m., I still hadn't received a single update, so I called the store. The manager, Charlie, told me he had test-driven the car twice, gotten it up to 60 mph, and wanted to check one more thing before returning it. Around 7 p.m., I stopped by the store to grab something out of my car. Out of curiosity, I checked the mileage. The car was parked in the EXACT same position as when I dropped it off, and the mileage was EXACTLY the same from when I dropped it off. The test drives that Charlie claimed he did had never happened. **July 14:** I went into the store when it opened. When Charlie repeated his claim about test-driving the car twice AND on the highway, I asked him why the mileage is the EXACT same as it was when I dropped it off. He never admitted that he had lied. He then tried telling me that the mileage was the same because they take the cars behind the store on Campbell Station and get the car up to 60mph for test drives which is less than 1 mile. 60 on a 20mph street is a criminal offense by the way and there's not even enough room to get a car up to 60 mph. Later that day, I was told to pick up the car at 4 p.m. because it would be ready. I was also told Charlie wanted to test-drive it WITH ME to make sure the issue was fixed. Conveniently, Charlie began taking his lunch break at 4 p.m as soon as I arrived. Given everything that had happened, the timing was hard not to question. **July 16:** Just when I thought this experience couldn't get any worse, we received a low tire-pressure warning while driving. I pulled over and discovered that one of the tires was nearly flat. Rather than risk another visit to Tire Discounters, I took the car to Discount Tire. They inspected it and told me the air valve had been damaged. They found no nail, puncture, or other obvious cause of the air loss. Thanks, Charlie for giving me the car back with a damaged air valve and putting me and my family at risk. **My recommendation: Think twice before bringing your vehicle to this location.**

Last fall, I'd lost one of the weights on the front passenger tire. I took it in for a rebalancing. Most shops would just try to drop a new weight on where the one was lost, then check for balance. They did it right. They stripped the weights from all four tires and placed new weights throughout. The price was more than fair.

Suddenly, when a warning light came on, Honest-1 claimed the transmission was failing and quoted them OVER $8,000 for a manufactured or new transmission -- using fear, urgency, and worst-case language to push the repair. That alone is alarming. What's worse? We took the car to Honda for a second opinion, and Honda's master technician thoroughly inspected EVERYTHING. The verdict: The transmission is NOT failing No rebuild. No replacement. No catastrophic damage. The real issue was a stuck A-line pressure solenoid valve, a relatively minor repair. Honda fixed the actual problem, replaced fluids, ran full diagnostics, and the total cost was UNDER $1,000. So let me be very clear: After a recent "full checkup," Honest-1 either completely misdiagnosed the vehicle or grossly exaggerated the issue and attempted to sell my elderly parents an $8,000+ repair they absolutely did not need. In my opinion, this was predatory. Targeting seniors with scare tactics and inflated diagnoses is unacceptable. We will never return. We didn't argue. We didn't debate. We simply took the keys and left -- and that should speak volumes. If you have elderly parents or anyone vulnerable in your life, DO NOT trust this shop without getting a second opinion. When I arrived at the Spring Hill store, I was discouraged to see the waiting room packed. I explained my situation to Joseph, and he immediately came outside to assess the tire. With a screw lodged in a difficult spot, there was no guarantee it could even be repaired, and I wasn't sure if they had a replacement tire in stock. I honestly thought I'd be stranded for hours. Less than 45 minutes later, Joseph handed me my keys and told me they had successfully repaired the tire. I was back on the road and able to get where I needed to be.
