I cannot thank the team here enough. They came to my rescue when I was driving through town to Detroit and got a flat tire. All I needed was a new valve and my tire aired back up. After explaining the situation over the phone, Jim said he was able to get me in right away, so I could get back on the road ASAP. When I got there they were waiting for me and were able to get to work on it immediately. I shit you not, it was fixed and I was back on the road in under an hour. What an awful experience. Purchased new wheels from another business. Brought them to Tire Discounters and was advised by the salesperson, Ed, that he had the tires I needed and there were no issues or concerns that he relayed to me. After many hours I was advised the new tires were rubbing against the wheel well and the issue was the "offset" of the rims. How this business did not know there would be an issue is beyond me since they specialize in tires and the brand new wheels I purchased were in the box which clearly displayed the specs for the wheels. Tire Discounters, Ed, then told me since I drove on the tires (I had to hear the rubbing), I bought them. Leaving me with wheels and tires I can't use. District manager, Steve, is useless and rude along with Ed. There are several other Tire stores, do your research and avoid Tire Discounters unless you want rude services and headaches. On 8/26/25 Tire Discounters advised me the tires they put on my vehicle were rubbing on the wheel well. Why did they leave those tires on the car? Why did they allow me to drive the car (with the new tires on the vehicle) off the lot only to tell me when I returned approximately 20 minutes later that they could not refund me the cost of the tires since I "drove on them". I drove the vehicle off the lot to take it to the business that sold me the rims to show them the issue. Tire Discounters knew this and I advised them I would be back. Yet they did not tell me I would be charged for the tires since I "drove on them". This is a deceptive practice whereby they installed tires on my vehicle that they knew were not the proper size/where not functioning as tires should and then allowed me to drive off the lot knowing that they would not refund my money since I "drove" on the tires. What an awful, underhanded, bad faith, and despicable business practice. read more

I blew out a run flat on I 71. Relatively rare tire size.Called shops in the area while I waited 3 1/2 hours for AAA. They were the only ones who offered real answers. The tow didn't make the shop until 5:15 PM. They had to order four tires. They called me at 10 AM the next morning to tell me the tires were mounted-last time that it took for the tow to reach me. The help was extraordinary. Price was fair. I could not recommend the more highly. read more

I get it, this is a "chain" and that can put a bad taste in some people's mouths, but lemme tell you about my experience. I've taken multiple vehicles here for multiple reasons. And every time I'm here the front desk staff are amazing. Super personable and they just tell you how it is. I've never experienced them push me or try and upsell me. I've even had the mechanic come out and talk to me about stuff. Today I had to take my girlfriend's car in for an oil change and some vibration we were experiencing. Turns out three of her tires needed replaced. This was going to tack on extra time in the shop. I told them that I needed to be out by a certain time to get my son off the bus. Not only did they get me out of there in time, but they did phenomenal work. The manager even made a comment that I could use his car if it wasn't done in time. That's service. I have been coming to this location for a few years now. I drive 50 minutes just to bring my cars here. I also bring my mom's car here. I have never found a more honest group of guys. Tom, Jim, Ed, and the crew, treat everyone like they matter. Not only is the customer service top notch, so is the actual work they do on your vehicle. I have had tires fixed and replaced, brakes, shocks, fluids changed, batteries, ect. They always treat me fair and the price value I get for the work they do is worth the drive for me. My past mistakes of having to take my car to a closer shop, has taught me to make the 50 minute drive to these guys. Now that I know they do extended warranty work on new cars, I do not ever have to go back to the dealership. read more

The tires i needed were in stock and installed quickly. The problem was when it was to be aligned they couldnt do it due to a "bad" part. I replaced the part which wasnt bad, took the vehicle back and had it aligned and showed the part to jim. He agreed it wasnt bad but couldnt explain why he was told it was. I cant speak for other branches-but I am not happy with this one. I had brought my daughters car in for a TPS sensor repair...that stopped working after she got a whole new 4 set of tires. They denied fault-of course. But they told me that both of her front tires were bulging and needed replaced. (She had a road hazard warranty and the tires had about 20,000 miles on them). I did not have the money but I told her what they said. Now she is 22 and is on the freeway at night for work, so as a mother I was PETRIFIED of there being an issue. She worked all night and was sick to boot, and took the car in and the guy didnt even touch it and told her that there was nothing wrong with the tires. Now this is an adult male that deals with tires for a LIVING telling a young 22 year old girl this. I called the service manager and told them that someone/somehow was lying to one of us. Now I can physically SEE the buldge marks with no problem. The service manager looks himself and what do you know- the tires got replaced!!! If one of those tires would have popped and caused an accident or god forbid a tragedy- then I would be sueing the crap out of tire discounters!! They did discount it and and stuff for the trouble- and I have talked to the District Manager as well- because if my daughter would have just left being told there was nothing wrong- then this could have been a VERY different story. read more

Okay, a Saturday 2 hour drive up to Tiffin to catch our daughter's volleyball game took a detour when our rental car's tire pressure indicator went off. We were loosing air fast. Found the team at Tire Discounters. First we were given a friendly greeting in a lobby full of customers. Jim promptly helped us as soon as a computer opened up. Within 10 minutes they had us logged in and the car was in the bay ready to fix the tire. The team quickly repaired the tire. While we waited we explained about our anxiousness to get to our daughters volleyball game. In no time the team member pulled the car around and brought in the keys. As we were prepared to pay. The managers and team told us to head out and go see our daughter. Family. We were so surprised and so grateful for this extremely kind act. I brought my Honda Pilot in to have the tires rotated, balanced and alignment done. I have always had good service when I go into the Delaware store. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. While the alignment was being done the tech found one of my front brake calipers was froze up. They brought me out to show me what was going on and gave me several options for repair. My experience with this location has always been positive, although there was one time when they kind of tried to push a bunch of "upsells" that were unnecessary. I have purchased two sets of tires here and a few oil changes. Most recently, I stopped in at about 3:30 on MLK day, during a snowstorm, after finding a slash in one of my tires. They were overbooked and really busy, but they worked me in, replaced my tires, and were very accommodating. I really had no other options than to wait and they could have just flat out told me they couldn't do it. Third time is NOT a charm. I made an appointment expecting to have my car in the bay somewhere close to that time..... I arrive 15 minutes early. Over an hour later they finally put it up on the lift ( and only because I heard the manager tell someone at the desk that it needed to be put into the line up). So somewhere after 2 my car is in the garage for an alignment and oil change. At approximately 3 pm the electricity goes out in the area. And my car is still up on the lift, even though I found out later it was actually finished and they were just doing paperwork. So, I had to catch a ride home from one of the staff, very nice of them to offer. Had to pay in cash ( which I intended to do anyway) because the systems were down. Now, this wouldn't be such a big deal, but 2 hours for an alignment and oil change is uncalled for. And the fact that this was my third time here and both of the previous times I have had to wait no less than 2.5 hours for simple oil changes. And I had appointments both times, but my car wasn't taken into the service area for over an hour later each time. I know people usually drop their cars off, but I don't have that luxury, and it really shouldn't matter anyway. I cannot afford the time for a 3 hour oil change. I won't be back. read more

I have bought my tires from here due to the good service and price and free alignment. I have usually had good service and experiences here. But today I came in due to a low tire light on my car. I asked them to check out my tires for anything that might be causing them to go low. I was told there was two people ahead of me. I told them okay that's fine I can wait. It's been over two hours and they have not looked at them yet. I contacted the regional director for tire discounters and have not heard back from him yet. Went in to have an oil change and have tired aligned -as I was told my tires need to be aligned --when I went to pick it up I found out the alignment was off very little they said they had to adjust it so little that they wouldn't charge me $70 for the alignment fee I -- I really appreciated their honesty, many places would just say oh I didn't really need to do much adjustment but here's your bill for $70 so I applaud them for being so honest!!! read more

Had a oil change and tire rotation, they drove my car around lifted it, changed oil and left the car up on the lift for 30 or so minutes. The tech came back lowered it and left it again for 23 minutes before returning to it. The tech drove it around, still no tire rotation but on my paperwork it says it was done and verified by another tech. I watched the entire process and the tires was not rotated at all!! I confronted the service manager Mr. Keels and tech why my tires wasn't rotated and why it set for a total 53 minutes before it was return. NO ONE WOULD MAKE EYE CONTACT AND ANSWER MY QUEST/COMPLAINT!. The following day I called the Manager and he said he would ask and look into it and call me back. Yep NO Call! Stealing service from customer's!! Hope you read this and take loyalty in your actions of management and your service technicians. read more

"I would really score the Service I got at this store as -5 stars. I arrived at the Delaware Tire Discounters store yesterday with a nearly flat right rear tire. I inquired about repair of the tire. The desk person said I he had to see this tire first, after dragging himself a few feet to see my truck & looking at the tire for about 2 seconds--he pronounced that he could not possibly fix my tire because the tread was too worn & it had scratches on the side wall. I think to myself OOOKK. Then ask him if they can put on my spare tire instead. My spare is a new tire. The employee sighed and said if we can get the spare down. And you can figure out that they could not figure how to get the spare down. Telling me that the undercarriage of my Truck was bent & they would have to remove my whole back bumper to access the spare. Needless to say -/I was furious. Went to 42 Automotive A A & they fixed my original tire in 10 minutes (it had a screw in it). I use to do business with Tire Discounters in Delaware & have even bought tires from them. Actually the worst service experience i have ever seen. Very slow. Workers seem to have no since of urgency. I dropped my car off and it took almost 36 hours for them just to get me tires and an alignment. The worst part was that every-time I called to check in they said it would take about an hour each time until i had finally started to complain after the 4th call. Mark your tires before the tire rotation! We are supposed to get free tire rotations because we bought a set of 4 tires from this store. We have been taking our car here for years for the free tire rotations and oil changes. The last time I dropped the car off, I checked the tires and knew where they were located. There are some defects and its easy to tell. Sure enough the tires were not rotated even though it shows on the invoice. Now it has me worried that the tires have never been rotated and has the oil even been changed? I have several calls and emails in to customer service with promises of a call from the regional manager and I have heard nothing.
