I'm disappointed with Tire Discounters. We've been customers for two cars, both AWD and that means always 4 at a time purchases, in addition to some mechanical work. Needless to say we have spent a good bit over a few years. Yesterday I went in for four new tires for my Honda Ridgeline. Dropped it off and left it for good portion of the day. Bought 4 tires and had oil change and alignment that came free with purchase promotion. On way home I got a low tire reading on tps, stopped and first one I checked had 24 psi not factory 32 psi. I called the store, they apologized. I have portable inflator so pulled over and Put air in and came home. Today the tps still on, I checked the remaining 3 they also had only24 psi. So all 4 new tires put on with only 24psi. While I realize mistakes can happen...all 4 tires under inflated? Not good. I now question what services were done and if done correctly. I took my car in on a Saturday morning to check out a suspicious popping sound in my tire well. They called me once and quoted me at$1,300 then called back to add on more services quoted at $2,100 which I was grateful for the communication. About an hour before close, they called to inform me they lost the screw that holds a piece on. They were trying to find a new one but being that it was so late on a Saturday they didn't know if they could find a new piece and their shop is closed on Sundays. Slightly inconvenient, but I didn't need my car until monday anyways. Then they called me about fifteen minutes later saying they randomly found the screw and the car was ready. *suspish* This was right before they closed, so I feel that they did not drive the car at all to make sure everything was running smoothly despite replacing some pretty essential parts. I picked the car up and drove it home, one mile down the road and all right turns. The next time I drove my car, it would make a hissing sound when the wheel is turned to the left and the power steering now goes out and locks up during left hand turns. All of these issues are coming from the same initial front left tire well I had them check out. My car is now not safe to drive. I reached out to them and after they took a look, they basically said it's not their issue. My problem here is that my car was more functional before I took it to them. I have never had this issue with my vehicle prior to their handy work. After leaving their shop, my car is now unsafe. I'm now $1300 out and my car is even further from functioning properly. I would have much rather had an annoying popping sound in my car rather than not being able to make left hand turns. The company was given a chance to make things right but instead wanted to charge $900 more dollars. After talking to several people who work on cars as a hobby, everyone has said it sounds as if they punctured a line in the power steering system due to the fact that the hissing sound and power steering issues occur in the same tire well which received work, but they aren't owning up to their mistake. Bottom line: if you are looking for quality service auto work and want your loved ones to drive away in a safe vehicle, go elsewhere. read more

It is great to have TD at the bottom of Signal. They are so convenient. We have used them for new car and truck tires, brake service and new front suspension for daughters BMW. Shop is well run and easy to work with. They communicate very well. All of their work was priced fairly and high quality. We highly recommend them for any tire, brakes and suspension issues. read more

Absolutely horrible service. Took my car in for brake pads and a break flush ($400). Started hearing a knocking noise and took my car back a few days later. They then stated it was my struts and strut links. They quoted my $2,000... I then took my car to get a second opinion. Turns out Tire Discounters forgot to put the pins on my break pads which caused them to be loose. I paid $150 for Good Years services (who were amazing!). I then brought this to Tire Discounters attention. They stated they could not give me a refund and would give me a "store credit" for what Good Year had fixed. I then stated I did not want a store credit because they installed my brakes incorrectly, then quoted me for $2,000 for nonexistent problems. I then asked for the corporate number and was told "there is no corporate number" I then asked to speak to their regional David Higgins. He stated he would have Mr, Higgins contact me. Found corporate number on google.. this place is a joke. Don't trust them with your car. read more

I've been going to Tire Discounters since they opened the Signal Mt Blvd store. So when I noticed my tires were worn, I called to verify price and availability, dropped off my car fifteen minutes later with a promise that they'd call when the work is finished. I received that phone call about 90 minutes, paid, exchanged friendly chatter with the guys behind the counter and drove home on a new set of Coopers. No surprises, no drama, a smooth and simple transaction... just the way it should be. read more

I have been very impressed with every location that I have been through. The staff is friendly and genuinely want to help with whatever the need is. They have made a customer for life now. I purchase tires here since they are a National company and I can address issues even while traveling. I am one of those people who have bad luck with tires. The staff was quick and attentive. They were spot on with their time estimate and, even though their was a wait, I knew exactly how long I needed to plan to be there. read more

I took my MINI in after having a flat. I opted to replace my tires since they were 2/3rds worn and I didn't want to have to deal with one new tire. They did t have but two to fit my car so he put two on the front and I'd get the other two in 48 hours. So two days later, I call the store and am told I'd be 7th in line because I did t make an appointment even though the other service writer told me just to come back when I go off work and he would take care of me. I ended up at another store and they showed me that one of my lug bolts had been stripped and the hub was ruined. Almost $900 later at the MINI dealer and I got my car repaired. Untrained and unprofessional people pretending to be a tire store. UPDATE: oh email us and we can resolve this, so I do and *crickets*. Maybe I should just sue and buy some billboards. You waste my money and lie. read more

I am thoroughly disappointed in Tire Discounters. I came it to have my tires rotated and was told that I needed brake pads and rotors on front and back and was quoted $800. My dad is a mechanic and taught me how to change both of these when he taught me how to change a tire. I bought my own pads and rotors and when we took off the tires, found we still had PLENTY of life left on our brakes, being 6+ mm (more than half-life). Fortunately, we were able to return the parts to OReilly and get all of our money back. Everyone was very nice, but I feel like they were trying to scam a seemingly naive woman, which is a shame. I'm very disappointed in the lack of honesty and will not be returning. read more

Wife had a nail in her tire and I was 5 states away. Called and they set everything up over the phone with me. Didn't have an appointment but they worked her in right away. Two new front tires and she was out in a little over an hour. I have been taking my cars to this location for a couple years now and they have always been the nicest people. They do everything they can to get you what you need with what you can afford. They don't try to sell you the most expensive tires they have and they have never been pushy about anything. They actually ask you how much you can afford and they work with that. I don't even shop around on prices anymore I just take my car there because I know they're not trying to rip me off. I had 4 new tires installed. That evening, I forgot that I had printed a $40 coupon. The next morning, I went to the store and asked if they'd honor the coupon. The response was, "Sorry, we can't do that." Inquiries to the corporate office got no response. The new tires include free rotation every 5000 miles. If they had just done the right thing, I would have, for convenience sake, gotten my oil changed there. Now I'll go somewhere else. read more

My wife took her Audi Q5 in for a rear rear bearings on both sides She was told it would take no more than 2 1/2 three hours she waited five hours ended up getting a Uber home at there coast I was really surprised at that. So the next morning she receives a phone call they tell her that she will have to have a new rear end but the axle was stripped during the repair she didn't understand and told me which I knew that this could only happen during the process of disassemble The rear axle so I called to speak to the store manager and listen to his little story which I knew was the technicians fault because I have done this before myself many years ago I proceeded to tell him they are full of shit and I am formed him I am not responsible for the payment and repairs of something that they have done it sounds like to me what they have posted on their wall in their lounge is a crock of shit says certified technician on hand if they are certified I am the President of the United States now don't get me wrong when it comes to getting tires and rotate and balance that is as good as it gets so highly recommend not using this store for any mechanical issues I and I will not take my vehicles for anything else to the store. Worst customer experience I have ever had. Wasn't able to pick my car up on Saturday when it was "done". They advised that I would be able to pick it up first thing Monday morning at 8. I get there at 8 and they say they have to put a cap on and that will be 30 minutes. 2 hours later they finally tell me it is ready. After I pay and get in my car to leave, I notice that the mileage from last time I got my oil changed was the same. I had to go back in and get the sticker with the new mileage. Worst experience and waste of money. Will go out of my way to tell people to never use this place. I had to waste a day of PTO because the "30 minutes" it took to put a cap on took 2 hours read more

My car needed an alignment so by buying 4 tires i got it free. The tires were cheaper than what i paid at a competitor's and with the sixth month same as cash offer it was worth it. The only downside was i had to wait from 2pm till 5pm for the job to be completed. If my car stays in alignment with all the potholes around here i will be satisfied. As a rideshare driver it is common to put 150 miles per day on this vehicle. read more

I am guessing zero stars is not an option! Anyway, they checked my car and wanted to change all pads and rotors but that would not have fixed the real problem. The hub and axle were broken, that was the real problem. They should have seen how loose the tire was. The place that finally found the problem said the tire literally could have broken off. I drove it to Florida with my wife and kids like this!!!! Thankful we are all still alive!!! read more

Absolutely horrible experience. Took them a truck with 500 miles on it. and they ruined one of the tires. They didn't discuss the potential fix to the issue until after they messed up the tire, and then told me I had to buy a new tire. I had to put the spare on and drive to a more qualified tire shop.
