You can get contact information from the TireChoice location on Radio Road in Naples where they overcharged me on October 1st. They will know who I am. I sure hope someone has the decency of calling me in regards to this matter. We took my father's car to the location on Radio Rd. He had passed away and we needed to transport the car to our home. We needed it checked out for a shimmy. We received a phone call that the repair bill would be over $4K, needing brakes, tie rods, chassis & struts! We declined and decided to have our mechanic check it out at home and it ended up only needing 2 tires, with the rest of the car being in perfect condition not needing any of the work they had told us it needed. Absolute worst tire shop I have ever dealt with. I rarely put reviews out but this experience has been horrible. Only good thing is the sales rep inside the store but the mechanics do poor jobs. After the mess of them not being able to patch a tire which they barely even looked at and wasn't even on a lift to make that decision I knew soon I would need new tires anyways and talked about put the same tires I had on the car and didn't realize till days later that they were different tires but were able to make amends off that and get me the right tires. After leaving the place with the right tires the mechanic couldn't even put in the right PSI and I have been dealing with that over a week with new tires on. Just lazy jobs from the mechanics side. read more

Took my car in due to flat tire. Made appointment on line, I showed up on time Greeted by Matt, the manager..very personable, great communicator, who checked me in,explained what would be done and the estimated time and cost. Car was taken into a bay and worked on by Gene Carlos who is one hard worker. I saw him return my paperwork and immediately pick up another..he doesn't stop. Checkout was a breeze with Matt..I was in and out in 40 minutes. Very pleased. Great customer service and communication. Keep up the great work. Good customer service and caring service are actually still a thing in the auto service !!!! I never take time to call out the terrible service that most businesses seem to display nowadays, but it's important to recognize excellent service and great business acumen whenever you run into it! On this Friday evening 20 minutes before close, a young man named Aiden at this Tire Choice quite literally save this menopausal woman's life. After taking my vehicle to an unnamed dealer for a recall that wasn't even completed, I got back a car with a newfound sometimesy air conditioning malfunction and I knew it was probably a simple wire or something not plugged incorrectly. I came to this business purely distraught sweating to death, after being in the car in the rain in this hundred degree heat Without AC! They could've easily told me to scatter because they were getting ready to close, but I was praying that maybe they could help me see if something simple was causing my vehicle to feel like a sauna suddenly. I would really like to thank the woman (maybe a manager - I'm so sorry I didn't get your name) and then Aiden, who took their time to help me out. I truly wish in this post- pandemic world that more business' understood that having excellent customer service and keeping your humanity intact is what will make your business sustainable. Tire choice on Radio did exactly that today and I will be sending all of my family and friends this way along with my professional colleagues who has fleets of vehicles! I took my daughter's used car in for an inspection. They unfortunately found that the dealer that sold her this used car didn't tell us the subframe is rusted and could crack making the car unsafe to drive. They are going above and beyond to help us with this issue. Hope was excellent to work with and the store manager and mechanic were very honest with us. I appreciate that they are looking out for my daughter's safety. I'm not thrilled that the dealer sold us a car that needs this repair,however, I am happy the people at this location care about other humans. read more

I took my car in for an oil change and to have two tires mounted. My son-in-law went to pick up the car for me and the person there told him that my lower control arm needed to be changed emergently because "the tire could go flying off at any time". I didn't trust that assessment since there were no signs of it (ie no clunking noise when turning the wheel). My expectant daughter and SIL were terrified that I was going to have an accident. I took the car to my trusted mechanic and there was nothing wrong with the control arms at all, but the ball joint needed to be replaced. The high pressure tactics to try to make money from unsuspecting customers are completely despicable. I will never use this business again. I noticed that they no longer use the tag line "Rick Johnson's fair and honest. Tell a friend." I know why. read more

Jim M. I was traveling on Interstate 75 and had two tires go flat. While I waited for a tow a friend sent me a recommendation for Tire Choice. I called and talked with Alex, the manager - he promised to get me back on the road the same day. After I was towed to the store, Reuben, the assistant manager, took over and did a great job coordinating the tire replacement and alignment. I was ready to hit the road again the same afternoon! New name-Tire Choice now. Went yesterday and was there a few minutes before opening. Walked in and no worker around, I was second person there. Phones ringing and finally after 10-15 min someone came up front and saId I'll be right with you and disappeared again. Phones still ringing off the wall. Finally after 40 minutes of being there, I was taken care of and told him the issue and came back to tell me what's wrong with tire only to look out on garage and had the wrong tire off. Had them replace front and rear brakes. After a couple of months, the brake pads were leaving black dust on our rims and hubcaps. Brought it back to them and they offered to replace the brakes with upgraded ceramic pads at no cost. They were extremely friendly and accommodating. We have also had them replace tires at a very reasonable price! read more

This location has a terrible reputation for service. They give you "the goodie two shoe" routine for being so nice and in business to serve all your auto repair needs. Beware...they are phony at best. Very Deceptive and wIll say anything to get you to entrapped with their inferior service. Thank God I got out of that place with minimal monetary damage. read more

Starting to lose faith in Rick Johnson This one in Estero near Corkscrew is not that friendly, but sometimes I end up going there because it is the closest one to get to when I get off work. Today I was told that if I bought my own tire pressure sensor it would have to be pre-programmed or they would not be able to do anything with it. After calling a couple of auto parts stores, I think the guy was just trying to scam me into having to spend a lot more money with them by forcing me to just go ahead and let them get it for me and install it. The stores both told me they have to be programmed when they are installed. So to me, it sounds like they would have to program it themselves anyway. read more

I went to the store on Green to have our granddaughters bottom radiator hose replaced. RIP OFF. First they kept the car overnight to run the diagnostic. After 1:00 the next day I had to call them to get a price and decide if we would follow through with the service. They told me the timing belt was "ready to go" and the overall price would be over $1,000. When I said stick to replacing the hose, I was told over $300. Went to Auto Zone and bought the right hose, clamps and antifreeze for about $50. We will never go back. read more

Worst customer service ever! Take your business elsewhere!! My boyfriend brought his truck in for a 9 AM appointment for an oil change and his brake pads to be replaced. They called a few days prior to the appointment to confirm he would be there. When he showed up on the day of his appointment, they told him he was not in the system and he didn't have an appointment.. they managed to squeeze him in. They got the oil changed and called around noon to let him know all 4 of his rotors need to be replaced. They said it would take about 2 hours. 2 and a half hours later they called saying they got the front two done but the back two have to be specially ordered and they couldn't do it until 3 days later. It took them 2.5 hours to do two rotors when they quoted they could do all 4 in 2 hours. We weren't going to be in town when they could do the back two so my boyfriend said don't worry about it. He went in to pick up his truck and his lug nut socket was missing. Long story short, my boyfriend had to drive to the Rick Johnson's employees HOUSE to pick it up because the employee claimed to have no form of transportation!!!!!!! This business is unprofessional and they're acting like they could care less about this situation!! Take your business elsewhere and don't support this awful business. I will edit my review should they do something to correct this situation. But until then STAY AWAY!!!! read more

This is the third time getting oil changed at Rick Johnson on Radio Road, Naples. Not very happy this time! Even though I had an appointment for 9:00 am, it took over 1/2 hour before they started on my vehicle. I asked before the service if they rotate the tires and was told yes and the bill said they rotated the tires, however, they did not do it??? In addition the bill says they did a 25 point inspection but none of the 25 point inspection items was checked off on the back of the receipt?? Disappointed! read more

I went a year ago to this place, not only was I NOT attend to when I got there, 2 men were talking about everything else, except TIRES or SERVICE, so after waiting there about 20 mins, I got tired and asked if someone could please help me, with much HESITATION, he did..After waiting around for about an hour and a half, I was informed that my car was ready, from that moment that I drove my car out of there establishment, my 350 Nissan stared having alignment problems, I took my car to the dealership, and there I was shown by the mechanic what the problem was, they had PLACED THE WRONG SIZE TIRES ON MY CAR!!!!. I asked the mechanic to please write me a note to give these guys because I was NOT getting any assistance from them. So I took my car back again, only to have to deal with resistance and BAD attitude. I recently had to get another alignment, and was told there that the RR tire was mounted BACKWARDS....OMG! People keep coming in and they are taking them right away. I've asked the guys at the desk what the deal is- and the guy kept giving me attitude. Customer service a big fat zero. ZERO stars. Waited for an estimate on a brake job for an hour. They said they could do the job right away, I waited another hour before they told me they didn't have the correct parts. First thing in the morning! By 9:30 am it should be done they said. Had someone drop me off since I live alone and only have one car which they needed to keep: At 11am the next day, I CALLED, was told 20 minutes, someone would come get me. An hour later I called AGAIN. FINALLY the came to get me. I missed school, and basically wasted a day after being misled 3 different times. Go somewhere else. This place SUCKS. The day after I got the car back I walked around the passenger side of the car and on the front tire there was some ghetto a$$ lug nut on my tire. It went in with all factory nuts on the tire and they obviously LOST one and then sent it out with some extra crap they had laying around. I truly believe if I had been a man I NEVER would've been treated this way. This place is a nightmare. If I ever go in there again, I'll catch an assault charge after all of this for sure. This place is by far, the absolute worst place to take a car for any kind of a service. My fiancé took our car here and they quoted $700 for firestone tires. On a Ford Fiesta! The cheapest tires and they quoted $700- I went to Costco and got four brand new Michelin tires for $670. Installed and everything. And the $700 they quoted was just for the tires- not including the cost of installation. She had taken her car here before and it has always had mechanical problems. They've taken advantage of her every step and turn they possibly could, but I made sure to remove one customer for life from Rick Johnson. For the last two years, I've taken our Ford Fiesta to Tamiami Ford and only there. They do things right the first time, they actually have real mechanics that know what they're doing and didn't just pull off the streets to make $10/hr. Ou fiesta has never ran better, has never had any more mechanical problems, and I owe it all to making the decision to never deal with Rick Johnson. Why spend any money for them to bend you over and screw you without lube? An oil change there will quickly turn into a $800 bill because they won't release your car to you 'in the condition it's in'- even if it's a 2016 Ford Fiesta brand new. It's amazing that people still take their cars here- they need to fire everyone and retrain everyone- from corporate down to the hiring process for the mechanics. One of the WORST places I've ever had to deal with. I am in the automotive business and purchased a tire from them and found out later they sold me the wrong size. Manager was rude to me and even to his own employees in front of customers. tried to return it but the manager acted like he didn't have time to credit me back. So he told me to leave it there and he would credit my account. Well after calling back I was told they couldn't give me credit because they thought I switched out the tire. So they told me to come back and get my tire cause it's mine. I have never felt so angry. They sell me the wrong size tire then when I try to return it they acted like I was trying to pull a fast one on them. Needless to say I got the tire from somewhere else. read more

I just left place. Had a 1:30 appointment, I arrived at 1:20 for just an oil change for $14.95. They wrote it up and it came to $22.70. I asked why and they said because my car takes different oil (it never has in the past 120,000 mile )) and a different filter, then shop supplies cost. They didn't take my car into the shop until 2:10, then they "put car into the wrong shop bay" and had to move it, more delay. Then they started taking off my wheels ( for an oil change?). I told them not to take the wheels off, and that they could easily check the brakes by looking through the mag wheels at the pads and rotors. The foreman told the mechanic to put the wheel back on the car and to take it out of the shop. I left. This place is an "upsell" ripoff in my opinion, and these people are not customer oriented. Do not go there. There are many good auto repair in Naples. read more
