This review is for Collier Goodyear South at 6220 Collier Blvd. I Went there the other day for an oil change on my 2016 Honda Pilot and they did their usual overall inspection. They advised me that the right front CV boot was leaking grease and the axel needed to be replaced. They showed me a picture of the CV boot and it appeared dirty. I asked if the boot was ripped and they said, "Obviously" that's why it's leaking grease. They wanted $681.00 to make the repair. I didn't let them complete the repair, because I didn't agree with their diagnosis. Later that day I brought the car to a certified Honda mechanic who inspected the vehicle and found nothing wrong with the CV boot, or the axel, but instead saw that the head gasket was leaking oil. That was the fluid that was on the boot. The mechanic completed the proper repair and advised me of a couple recommended repairs to complete in the future that Goodyear never mentioned. Goodyear completely misdiagnosed my car which could've cost me over $700.00 to repair the wrong issue. Unfortunately I can't trust them and will probably never go back to them again. read more

Good experience for a brake flush, coolant flush and oil change. Dropped off the car at 11 and it was ready at 1:15. And a free tire rotation. Great service! Interacted with Tom McKelvey and Damian Gonzalez who were very helpful with service explanation and cost. Also spoke w/ Leo Carruto, Store Mgr who was courteous and knowledgeable. I would not trust Goodyear Auto Service on Collier Blvd to take care of my mother, daughter or any family member. They displayed a complete lack of trust & confidence. I purchased the Road Hazard Warranty: Free Flat Repairs and Tire Rotation for the life of the tires from a Goodyear dealer in VA but the warranty is good across the US. I called Goodyear in Naples, FL and they stated that they could honor the tire rotation but not the free prorated replacement because they were a corporate Goodyear and not a dealer Goodyear; Ok so be it. I made an appointment and took my car in for the free tire rotation only. My tires have plenty of tread left on them (see photo) and just needed a simple tire rotation. The service tech stated that he WOULD NOT rotate my tires because it was a 'safety issue'. He stated that there was not enough tread left on the tire and it would be hazardous. I stated that my tires are 45K mile tires with a warranty and I had not even driven 30K miles. He just shrugged and didn't answer; he obviously had no desire or inclination to provide a simple tire rotation. He was quick however to provide a quote for brand new tires, stating that the tires I currently have (Eagle F1) were no longer available. Strangly, the quote he provided were for Eagle F1 tires. The current tires I previously purchased were $1,464 out the door and the quote provided by Goodyear was for $1979. I highly recommend going some place else like Tire Kingdom, Tires Plus, etc. that will actually take care of you and family. read more

Finding a screw in your tire is never fun and usually happens the day before you have a long drive planned. I called Goodyear to see if I could have the tire looked at and possibly repaired, spoke with Tom and he said to bring it in. Waited maybe 30 minutes, thankfully they found that the screw did not penetrate the tire, no charge, sent me on my way. THANK YOU TOM AND GOODYEAR! read more

I called ahead of time to ask if they could address multiple issues on my suburban, and the clerk said that they could. When I got there, he came and looked at the car and decided that they did not have the appropriate air conditioning tools to assess the air conditioner that's blowing warm. And they also forgot to Install the tire sensor air gauge. We came in for a total of four things, and these were the two highlights. When I brought this up at the end, the clerk indicated that I never told him about the tire gauge sensor even after he told me it would cost about $110. I've brought my cars here several times and had relatively good service, but it has recently been declining quite a bit and I'll never bring my cars back here again. read more

I called 4 days ahead to set up an appointment to put tires on my call. The appointment was set up for 8am Saturday morning I dropped the car off at 7:55am at 14275 Collier Blvd. Naples Fl. 34119. They asked if I was going to wait I told them no that I will be back in a few. The manager said he would call me when done. I called back at 1:15pm he said they were busy and they would get back to me. HMMMMM.... They pushed off my car because I wasn't there. UNEXCEPTABLE... Very wrong all the way around. They finished my car at 4:30pm, COME ON.... Un excusable.... That was the last time I will us Goodyear.. read more

I'm having an issue with the check engine light in my 4runner. I took it here and they replaced the battery and did some electrical work. They charged an arm and a leg and the battery was not properly installed (it was hand-tightened on the negative end, they had left the stuff to finish the job in my car when I picked it up). The check engine light came right back on within a few hours. Took it back on Saturday midday and they said to come in Monday morning. Come Monday morning, we drive up and they tell us to go to the dealership. Some of us have to work. It would have been good to know that on Saturday. Awful, awful, awful. Have had two (2) "rodeos" with this location; both times would be rated NEGATIVE stars if possible. Bought four (4) new tires with road hazard replacement insurance. First time, tire gets nail in tread and call this location to have them plug a leaking tire that is going flat quickly (covered under the road hazard insurance)...they can't see me for two days. Not sure how leaking tire and being able to put a plug in the time work. Went to Tire Choice who was on it immediately. The second time is happening now. Called to order a replacement tire (covered by the road hazard insurance) on 23JUN23 because of screw in the sidewall of the tire (that can't be plugged)...told the only tire replacement tire in the entire country is in a Goodyear warehouse on the west coast...told it will be here in three days. Call to follow-up on 27JUN23 to be told it will arrive between 28JUN23 and 03JUL23. Call today, 03JUL23, and told the same story that the only tire in the country is located in a west coast Goodyear warehouse...ETA now 10JUL23. During all of this, the car is operating on a tire that cannot be plugged and losing air. So, a wait of 17 days to get the only replacement tire available in the entire United States from a Goodyear. Quite the customer service. I'll bet if I called today and said I wanted four new tires on the vehicle, they'd have an appointment, with the tires ready to install, in the next day or so. Final note. My father was a long time senior executive and officer of Goodyear which has entitled me to a substantial discount on new tires; walking away from that and changing brands due to the incompetence of the store (even if it is not a corporate owned store) and the inability of a multi-billion, global organization to find a single tire in their supply chain in a timely fashion within the United States. This Goodyear store should be embarrassed; completely unacceptable. Update as of 17JUL23: 1) The Goodyear Auto Service store called me today to let me know the tire, ordered to replace a tire with a screw in the sidewall (not "patchable"/"pluggable"), was going to now arrive on Friday, July 21st...four (4) full WEEKS after putting in the order (again, for a replacement tire). FOUR WEEKS for a SINGLE REPLACEMENT TIRE..... 2) Called the 1-800 number for Goodyear as requested in the response to this point. Was on hold a full ten (10) minutes without ever talking to an individual. Two (2) pathetic customer satisfaction scenarios.... read more

Unfortunately I have to leave a star otherwise I would left a negative number to infinity. Furious and insulted, yes!!! The alert to check tire pressure came on and I drove to the closest Goodyear to have the tires checked. If anyone doesn't know, it takes a few minutes (maybe less than 10 at most) to have a professional check. There was nobody waiting; there were a couple of employees working on cars but one man was standing around "shooting the breeze" with someone in the office. I told him my problem, asked if he, or anyone, could check the pressure on all the tires. With the most dismissive, rude, aggressive tone told me "they were too busy". It's important to note, I was prepared to pay whatever the charge, even purchase tires if needed, but he turned away from me. So much for customer service....NOT!! read more

Got an appointment online for an oil change for my son who was coming to town for a visit. Only had one day available so I scheduled it for then. Showed up and was told they did not have any openings and the "online system" doesn't check with them when making appointments. He said he tried to call me but my voicemail was full (lie #1) and then said my voicemail wasn't set up (lie #2). My voicemail works just fine. I understand scheduling glitches, but don't lie to the customer to try and save face. Horrible experience. read more

If I could give this place a 0 I would. I needed 4 new tires it started off great with Jason he was very informative and set up my appointment. While speaking with Jason I could overhear the girl behind the desk being very rude to a customer next to me, complete attitude the entire time speaking with the customer. Come appointment day I speak with a different young lady, she was scrolling on her phone the entire time during this transaction. When it came down to dropping off my car the young lady said "okay now sign on the digit keypad" and then I ask "what is it I'm signing for?" she returned with a snappy "for permission?", I let it go and dropped off my car and left, when I called to check on my car Ivey answered and I asked for an estimated time, she also with a big attitude stated "I cannot give you a time" so I hung up. Overall customer service is terrible, I ended up getting a nail in my tire and did not want to go back so I went to another company. read more

Sad I have to give a star. Horrible place, towed my car here since it was the nearest location. 2 weeks waiting, nothing was done. I went to the store to ask about any updates, the store manager Ivy made everything worst, she had a nasty attitude , started telling me they are not going to work on my vehicle. Tried to make it seem as i was lying about the period of time the car has been there, she kept telling me she was done with the conversation. No help at all. Have everything on video. Will def be calling corporate, to be the manager in the store she should've handled the situation different. Made it seem as if they were going to work on my car for free. No help. Horrible attitude. No good costumer service at all. On the other hand there was a guy with glasses who was very polite and tried to help me better. Told me the best thing to do was to take my car other place! Very good job. Had to have my appt. time changed due to a snafu with the online system (c'mon Goodyear corporate, fire that IT company and get it fixed.) But Anthony did a good job of getting the tire repaired and the new tires mounted. Upon returning home from Labor Day holiday I stopped at a Cracker Barrel for breakfast. As I approached the truck I noticed a screw in my left rear tire. Couldn't take a chance and drive 250 miles home with that pesky critter nestled in my tread so I Yelped tire repair in the area and came across this Goodyear store that thankfully was open on Labor Day. I told the manager upon arrival of my dilemma and he brought the truck right in. About a half hour later he advised me that the truck was ready. He simply handed my the wheel lock and my key and told me to have a safe trip back. I looked at him with a perplexed look in my eyes and advised him that I hadn't yet paid for the repair. He smiled at me and said there was nothing to pay for. I asked if he was sure and he said yes. I thanked him again and left. It's businesses like these and customer service like that that keep ones optimism alive that there are decent and considerate people left in FL. read more

O am new to rhe area and had a nail in my front tire causing a slow leak. I call around and no one had any same day appt.. When there was a cancellation, Jason took me in right away and had it fixed properly, not just a plug. When the job was done, i went up to pay and it was a courtesy service, means no charge. I was shocked. Its not the few bucks i saved which made me happy, it was the understanding exhibited by the shop owner to create customer loyalty a small step at a time. Trust is this auto repair business is sorely lacking and these guys figured it out how to win over your trust a small step at a time. read more

My boyfriend warned me not to go to that Goodyear but I found good reviews for tires on their website at a reasonable price and that was the closest Goodyear to get to. Ordered the tires on line and was quoted a price less tax. Made the appt for 9:00 Saturday morning. When I arrived the counter guy told me that it would be an hour and 15 minutes. I went and had breakfast and came back 90 minutes later. Tires were not yet on my car. The guy told me 20 more minutes and I sat there for almost an hour before they finished. When I went in to pay a different guy told me that the tires I had ordered were not in so they went ahead and gave me an upgrade for no additional charge. I asked him why they had not consulted with me prior to making the change and all he said was that they could get me the tires that I wanted but these were better. I said that I knew nothing about these tires that I had researched the other ones and the other guy working the counter (the one that cannot tell time) said he had those tires and they were great. I looked at the bill and the new tires were listed at $20 more each than the ones I wanted but they did charge me the same price I was quoted on line. I was just so tired and fed up with these con artists that I let it go knowing that I will never do business with Goodyear again and I will go out of my way to make others know that I got ripped off there. Sure enough when I got home and looked up the new tires online, the reviews were decent but the tires were listed at $20 each less than the ones I paid for. DO NOT USE GOODYEAR! read more

Great service every time I have brought my car. Just an example. I brought my car in to find out why my check engine light was on and to have my tires replaced. They had the tires replaced immediately. They found the issue causing the engine light, but said they were unable to fix it and I would need to take it to a BMW shop's. Since they couldn't fix the problem they didn't charge me for the diagnostic. I am at Germain BMW right now and just got charged $140 just for them to hook the car up to a computer and confirm what Goodyear already said. Great service at Goodyear and you don't get screwed with ridiculous prices. I will continue to do all my business with them. read more

Showed up at 8:30 AM before they opened at 9:00. Simple tire puncture in a new (4,500 miles) Goodyear tire. Told me they could get to it by the following Thursday. I don't blame the guys in the store, but if I have my way I'll never buy another Goodyear tire in my life. read more

WASTE OF TIME!!! Do not bring your car there! Supposedly trained auto mechanics reported that they couldn't get a few lug nuts off my car and they didn't feel comfortable doing the job! Terrible excuse ! 5 minutes later I was able to get all the lug nuts off with a hand wrench with minimum force. In the process of taking my new tires out of the car that they didn't mount anyway, there was no care at all and got the interior of my car filthy! A week before my wife's car was in for an oil change and BATTERY CHECK! when asked about the battery after payment I was assured the battery was 100% perfect. A day later the battery died leaving my wife stranded! Needless to say I will never ever go back to this place and you shouldn't either! read more

I needed four new tires for my 2012 Ford Escape. I was inclined to go with Tamiami Ford who gave me an estimate of $789.11 which included an alignment fee of $89.95. My husband suggested I use Goodyear Auto Service instead because they have the Road Hazard Protection. I called and Ricky said they don't make my tires anymore but the equivalent would cost $659.08 so I scheduled an appointment. Ricky called back the next day and said they found a set of my current tires (235/70R16 106T SL Assur CS Fuelmax VSB) that were manufactured in 2019 which I accepted. After the new tires were on my car, the technician said my tires were out of alignment and stated their fee was $159.99. I naively had assumed their initial price had included the alignment. I ended up paying $790.98 for tires that were inferior to the Hankook tires Tamiami Ford offered (Dynapro HT RH12). I do not appreciate the "upselling". With the exception of using the Road Hazard Protection if necessary, I will not be buying anything here again. read more

Arrived before they opened 7am and the 'manager' arrived around 5 minutes late to open up. She left her highly mufflerized slow truck running at the door with the exhaust blowing towards the door while she went to open up the door and get things started for the day . I was the ONLY customer there and her one employee showed up before she did. I asked for a lube,oil change and filter along with a tire rotation. She asked if I had an appointment and I said no and she turned the screen around to show me how busy she was and right then I knew this was going nowhere and I was out of there. I am finding the difference in service attitude here in FL compared to what I experience in CT. A lot not all seem to hate what they do in FL and service is still important in CT. By third time he quoted the price, I had figured it out. They can only quote for four tires. Unless they're having you over, they don't want your business. read more

I set up an appointment the day before. I was there on time. The tech, which was very friendly, asked me to go inside to get the paperwork. I went inside and Jason was apparently having a bad day because he was smug and rude so I just went back outside. The tech finished the job very fast. I went back inside to finish the paperwork. Since jason was rude, I was upset and ignored him when he said bye. Upset that I ignored him he follows me outside all the way to my car obnoxiously repeating Have a nice day sir, have a nice day sir. I told him to stop and he continued. So I went inside to ask for the store manager's card. he got upset again. The manager, Liza then walked in but never even attempted to diffuse the situation. I told her what happened but she didn't care. I told her he shouldn't be treating customers like that and he jumped in and started raising his voice at me again, by now I'd had enough. Terrible!! I scheduled to have an oil change, 4 new tires, and brake inspection. Close to $700 worth of work. I dropped my car off at 8:30am for a 9am appointment, the car was supposed to be ready at 1pm. At 1pm (when I'm supposed to pick up the car), I called to check the status and they still had not pulled the car in. At 2:30pm I get a call from them asking where the wheel lock for the car is because they can't find it, I tell them it should be in the trunk and please check again (they were the last ones to use it about 6 months ago when they rotated the tires). They call back and say they still cannot find it, so I go the shop and try to find it myself and I could not find it, so when I tell the guy that I can't find it, and they were the last ones to use it, he says "We gave it back to your wife right here at the counter. What did she do with it?" So it took them 4 1/2 hours to do an oil change, and I have to buy a new wheel lock that they used last. I asked why did it take 4 1/2 hours to do an oil change when I had a scheduled appointment and he said "You must not have ever worked a job like this, things happen." Had three new tires installed December 2017 when my mileage was 49,717 Had an additional tire put on in July 2018. All tires became out of round and started to separate when my mileage was at 64,500miles. The car is a 2015 Camry and has no alignment or undercarriage problems. Tires were out of round and could not sustain further use without disintegrating. Due to my work schedule and the fact that we only have one car I was left with only the choice of having another competing dealer install good tires for me. Could not spend the time to dispute with the Goodyear dealer to beg for a pro rata refund. Very disappointing service presentation considering the time /pressure we all are dealing with in today's business world. Will not use Goodyear again... definitely not a dependable product or service presentation. I would not recommend this dealer to anyone I know read more

this goodyear auto service location damaged my transmission from a simple transmission service, which is routine maintenance. they left it 4 quarts short of transmission fluid, which the dealership discovered when i brought it into right after leaving thr dealership. i spoke to the store mgr named liza and she did not care. i spoke to a tim petitt, the district mgr for them and he did not care and refused to pay for the damages or even offer a refund on the poor work i paid for. i will be disputing with my credit card company and contacting the bbb. read more
