( 1/2 star) Frustrating, Unprofessional, and a Complete Waste of Time On September 22 at 4:15 PM, I went to Walmart Auto Service located at 5420 Juliet Blvd, Naples, FL 34109 to buy a battery for my 2015 Dodge Journey. I was told installation was free, but that promise quickly unraveled. The associate confirmed the battery location--behind the front bumper left front wheel, easily accessible by removing a plastic cover. But when he asked the mechanics to install it, they flat-out refused, saying it was "too much work." No inspection, no attempt--just a blanket refusal. I asked to speak with the auto service manager, Wilson, who claimed it was Walmart policy not to install batteries unless they're under the hood. When I asked to see this policy, he admitted he didn't know where it was written. He then changed his reasoning to "safety concerns," pointing at the plastic push pins, and finally settled on "too much work" as the ultimate excuse. I escalated to Victor, the acting store manager, who offered a hollow apology and said he'd pass it along to his superior. He didn't even ask for my contact info until I prompted him. I wrote it down myself. I bought the battery anyway, only to discover at home that it was the wrong one. Returned it, got a replacement--wrong again. The terminals were reversed. I had to go back a third time to find the correct battery myself. And guess what? I installed it at home in under 35 minutes. Walmart Auto Service failed at every level: poor communication, refusal to help, lack of accountability, and poor employees training selling the wrong product--twice. read more

I waited about 3 hours for an oil change I was there at around 2:20 there was no one at the counter for a solid 10 minutes.Overall pretty awful when I came in people were already complaining about the service as well. read more

They rolled my rims into a wall and they landed face first scratching two of them. Never go here the scratches were big and obvious. I spoke to HR and they offered no compensation. Other people were also complaining that their oil change was 7 hours. read more

Needed a new battery and they were swamped and had no appointments available. The nice woman working the counter said she would try to get me in noting I needed the car the next day. After an hour wait, I was on my way with my new battery. read more

Always get my oil changed over here. I even got my AC charged. all my tires are from here. I've never had a problem yet. JT is very good at explaining something once something goes wrong and has good customer service. read more

Earlier this year I bought 4 tires for my car with a warranty from the Naples Wal-Mart Automotive Department at 5420 Juliet Blvd. Yesterday, I noticed I had a screw in one of the tires. Though it was not causing a leak & the tire was not flat, I wanted to have it removed. Today, I tried calling the same store where I had bought them, to ask if I had to return to the same store. . . . I called 5 TIMES! After waiting/holding 7 minutes until they hung up. The second & third time, I could barely understand the operator & she transferred me to Automotive with the same results. The fourth time I asked to be transferred to the manager's office. She wouldn't do that, instead she said she would go to Automotive & tell them "to pick up line 1". She put me on hold AGAIN. I waited & waited & waited . . . . someone picked up the line . . . . . Pharmacy. She was very rude! Kept saying over & over "This is the Pharmacy. Pharmacy. Pharmacy." She hung up. Fifth try . . . (when the operator finally answered the phone) again I asked to speak to a manager. "Which one?" What the Hell! I told her "The manager that is on duty would suffice! This is the 5th time I have called for Automotive service & your store has already wasted nearly an hour of my time! " "Just one moment, I will walk to the back & tell them to pick up the phone." I thought she already did that! Finally, the Automotive Department! Folks, it didn't get any better. He was extremely rude. I told him the trouble that I had trying to get ahold of his department. "We are too short-handed to answer phones. What do you want?" Are you kidding me?! I kept my cool and told him the issue. I then asked him if I could have the tire fixed locally instead of driving all the way to Naples from my home in Estero. "NO, it has to be at a Wal-Mart auto store to be covered under the warranty! WORST & WEIRDEST experience at this Walmart Auto Care Center - Naples off Juliet. On Christmas eve, Shawn and I had to stop here because the tread on the boat trailer tire fell off and left the tire bare. We needed to replace the tire immediately and this was the closest auto care center. We pulled into the WMT Auto Center and spoke with the front desk woman, advising her that we needed 2 trailer tires (we figured we'd replace both tires to be safe rather than sorry since we were still 2 hours away from home). She quoted us $54 per tire. Sweet, we're in! Then she asked us to pull around back of the shop because our truck and boat trailer were blocking the entrance. So, we pulled around back, still on Walmart property. Long story short - the Walmart Auto Care workers handed the jack and wrench to Shawn and he changed both tires BY HIMSELF. Absolutely no assistance from the WMT workers. One of the workers, who didn't speak English, stood over Shawn's shoulders as he changed the first tire to basically 'supervise'. Then, after about 5 minutes, he walked away, sat on a bench and chatted on his cell phone. After getting both of the original trailer tires off, the worker told Shawn that they were out of the $54 tires but had $97 tires... convenient, eh? ... considering we were handcuffed and had both tires off already and had NO WHERE else to go [cue eye roll]. Cool, so now Shawn does ALL THE WORK and pays more $$$ for tires... Merry Christmas Eve to you, too, Walmart! Forty-five minutes later, after the tires have been successfully changed (yay Shawn) and we were back on the road, my brain started to rethink the situation - woah, that could've been a huge liability for WMT had the trailer collapsed on Shawn's head/hand/etc. And, what work did WMT do??... nothing. AND we got charged the more expensive trailer tires. Alright, calling WMT Customer Service - they said under no circumstances should they have given Shawn the tools to change the tires and that this would be escalated to senior management. In sum, Craig, from the Walmart off Juliet in Naples, called me today to advise me that the Auto Care Center WAS DOING US A FAVOR by allowing us to use their tools and use their property to change our boat trailer tires because otherwise we would've had to buy the jack and wrench inside. But, for doing all the work, we could get a $20 WMT gift card. I said, OK, cool, how can I receive this since we don't live in Naples?.... Craig says, "oh, well, we can't mail it." ... alrighttttt then how has my issue been resolved?... This is not to bash the work of the Auto Care Center because, well, they didn't do ANY work so I wouldn't know their work quality/work ethic. But the underlying business foundation at this location is HORRIBLE! They screwed us by: 1) conveniently being out of the original $54 tires and charging us $97/tire; 2) Craig knew we didn't live in Naples and couldn't pick up the $20 gift card... so, empty promises. At this point, just want our money back. Had you handed the tools to someone with absolutely no experience and auto knowledge, this could've resulted in a much larger issue. Don't go to this Walmart Auto Care Center. Or, maybe you should... apparently they'll give you the tools to change your own tires. Then, you can injure yourself and sue the $%*^ out of WMT. I just don't get it with this place. Ordered some Goodyear tires to be delivered to this store and scheduled the installation online a WEEK in advance. On the eve of the tire installation, receive an email that my appointment slot was canceled. Fine, I'll cut them some slack. People call out, schedules change, etc... I reschedule for Saturday morning at 8am (yesterday from the date of this writing). I arrive on time to find a line of cars piled up outside the service bays. "Busy day" I say to myself. I speak to a couple of the techs waiting inside the bay and ask them where to check in. They tell me it's inside but THERE IS NO ONE ON THE CLOCK TO FILL THE APPONTMENT. I express my dissatisfaction, politely, which these two guys seemed to find hilarious (laughing as I walk away). I get inside to find a line 10 people deep, each of them just as irritated as I was, and no one at the service desk. After waiting 15min for someone to show up, I go to customer service and request a manager (I HATE being this guy). I return to the line. 1hr and 15min pass before the first of the people waiting are even checked in. At this point, I'm beyond out of patience and would sooner throw myself into traffic than trust these jokers with my car. When my turn came to be checked in, I informed the guy behind the counter that I was done and wanted my money back for the tires. He said he'd have to get a manager. Fair enough, I'll wait a bit for him. 20 MINUTES come and go, no manager in sight. By this point, I've figured out how to cancel the order online. I inform the guy behind the counter, I'd no longer need that manager. At no point during this colossal waste of time did any of the automotive staff, customer service people or members management offer ANY form of apology or mea culpa. In hind sight, I should have listened to the other poor reviews on this site and others. Folks, don't trust these people with your cars. read more

I needed to have the battery replaced on my Kia so I stopped in to see if they could fit me in. The lady at the counter said 2-3 hour wait, but let me see if I can sneak you in. 20 minutes later I was on my way. They couldn't have been nicer. I only wish I could remember the names of the people I dealt with so I could single them out. read more

Took just shy of 7 hours to install 4 new tires. Customer service was terrible, the people that work there clearly don't care. They somehow had someone else's name on my ticket, and acted like they didn't have my car. The guy behind the counter acted like I was inconveniencing them, lol. Won't be back read more

We didn't expect great service from Walmart but we needed tires fast and they could get us right in so we went there. This was our first mistake. We could have literally taken the appointment 3 hours away at another place and gotten tires faster. We watched as it took one guy almost an hour and a half to TAKE OFF tires and it was the only car he was working on. He frequently made eye contact with us and laughed. We asked if we could pay before it was done as we were running late. Wilson seems to be the only person who works here as he grabbed another young guy and started getting the guy working on our car to move. Our car was still the only car this guy worked on for 3 hours. He is obviously not paid by productivity. Great job Wilson you deserve a better staff. Some places can change full tires in under 30 min but we watched as it took an agonizing 3 hours here. (That's 3 hours ACTUALLY working on the car). 4 months pregnant and I could have done it faster. The guy obviously annoyed with us rushing him made a point to over tighten the bolts so we are sure they will need cut off. The only benefit If Walmart was their speed in time of need and that they don't even have. read more

This is aterrible place to get service. I had a flat tire and they put the wrong tire on my car with caused an issue with the traction control I in turn had to bring the car back and they would not even bump me up in line because of the mistake they made. The assistant manager Matt was very rude and did not offer any compensation for my inconvenience I then spoke to co manager candy regarding the issue. She told me that we are first come first serve and that people are not bumped up in line. Not once did anyone offer to help for the inconvenience and now I am speaking with the manager Chance the many of the store said that I can get my vehicle checked at the mechanic because of my warning lights caused by the wrong tire being put on but If the check up shows no damge caused by the tire then Walmart will not pay for the mechanic assessment. Therefore i will will be stuck with the bill to make sure my car is safe for my family to drive. So no matter what read more
