Awesome nail place!!!! Too bad I'm here on vacation, but I would make this place my regular nail salon. Sooooo many colors, and they are so organized that they keep all the colors in order. The younger girl with braces (sorry I didn't catch your name) did my manicure and when she found out I was here in vacation she gave me tons of touristy things to do. My feet are amazingly soft - I don't know what they used or did but my feet usually go back to a pre-pedicure state within the next day or two. For gel manicure, this is not the place to go in Orlando. The space itself is relaxing with large flat screen TVs so you can zone out while getting your mani/pedi. The color selection is great. It seemed that they more specialize in acrylics as most people in there were doing that. My pedi was ok, the polish job was good but the spa part was awkward and the tech did not seem knowledgeable. They reuse their foot exfoliators and have metal scrapers which are totally not hygienic. My gel job was terrible and took forever. By the time it was over, I only complained about one nail but I really should have asked her to redo it but I had places to be. I think the problem was that she was using old polish and the final product did not come out smooth but rather dimpled and marbled-looking. I will not be returning! read more

I love this place and all the girls that work here. You can tell they care about their customers and really listen to your requests. It is a great atmosphere, clean, contemporary and relaxing. I really like how they use liners in their pedicure tubs and their nail polish wall is amazing!! All Essie and OPI polishes. This was a great find. We had a little time decided we wanted pedicures. Called and even though they aren't due to open for another 30 minutes, someone answered and let me make an appointment for an hour later. When we arrived, 15 minutes early, we saw the shop was filled and busy. We were immediately greeted and offered assistance. We said we had an appointment and were told to go to the wall and pick our colors. The wall was amazing, and the color selection was great. Our chairs were prepared with plastic liners and we were invited to sit. When we were helped, Vicki apologized for the wait and began the pedicures. We got the deluxe, which included massages. For tired, runners feet, this was fabulous. The rest of the pedicure was great. All instruments came from a package. There were no bloody cuticles. Every person who entered or called was welcomed and offered assistance. Ever be was treated with respect. We were thrilled with our last minute decision to get our nails done. read more

First time after I got acrylic here I never should have gave them another chance but I did and decided to go with shellac. Well it didn't last more than a week and it was lifting and peeling. Not to make matters worse my nails cracked in 3 spots and now so weak. They attempted to fix it but make it worse. Never going back. The girls were nice that worked there though. read more

So an update from my previous review is that I didnt get an infection And even though I wasnt 100% pleased with the paint job, it did last for 6 days! (No, it wasnt gel). I will also agree with other people's reviews that they have a wide selection of nail polish colors. Im still giving this place 3 stars because its an average place. As I've mentioned before, I will try it again but with one of the girls that seem to have better rapport with clients. read more

I went bc of reviews on Yelp. Place was very nice, clean and used sanitized nail tools. Lots of colors to choose from. I got a pedicure and upper lip wax. The older lady did my pedicure and I had a broken nail on big toe. Well she snipped it off but was digging for rest of it and killed me. I was bleeding so much and two days later my toe still hurts and she nipped me on another toe... she also painted on my skin on pinky toes. But didn't notice until I left. She also left some wax on my lip that my 18 yr old daughter took off for me. My daughter had a pedicure from one of the younger girls and looked AMAZING! All cuticles cut, nails shaped great and nail polish was put on perfectly!! I kept looking at her feet in envy. read more

Horrible customer service. I went in to get a soak off, full set and a toe polish change. One would think while they were doing my toes, they would have my nails soaking simultaneously, but they didn't. They waited till they were done to sit my hand in a bowl and I sat there over 30 min while the nail tech was outside on his phone. When I got sick of waiting I got up to wash my hands to hint I was ready to start and he just came in with such an attitude. After making him file the acrylic off he proceed to start giving me a manicure and when I said I wanted a full set he said, "well why didn't you tell me that before" and I said I told the lady when I first came in what I wanted done. Instead of him asking me what I wanted he just assumed and then was upset with me when I tried to correct him. I ended up just leaving because he was so rude and unprofessional. read more

The massage in the pedicure is a joke. I had specifically asked if there was a massage included in the pedicure- I was told yes about 10min massage. I was hoping because I had asked that I would get a nice massage. Nope! More like lightly rubbing lotion on my feet. People come here to get their nails done but also to be somewhat pampered. Sadly, not sure why so many salons forget to recognize that we want to be pampered. Now all I want is to go somewhere else to get a foot massage. The tech was a guy and my mother in law had a girl- neither One asked if pressure was okay- wish they would have because I would have asked for a deeper massage. Disappointed. If you are looking for a quality pedicure I do not recommend this location. I enjoyed my time here because of good company, and the nail technicians working on us were humorous maintaining great customer service. If you have an open mind they like to talk with you and make sure you are not ignored. During my pedicure I was really hoping my tech would take his time with the cuticles, but since he didn't my pedicure did not last the full thirty minutes I was quoted on when I called and when I walked in. I was attended to first and my partner was taken care of ten minutes later, however, his nail tech rushed everything just so that we could be done at the same time. When it came to the leg massage, there is lack of the 'massage' part. I asked my partner if he was given a massage and we both agreed that they only lather on the lotion, followed by a hot towel. Once again, we enjoyed our time here because of the great customer service, but since quality of a pedicure is what I search for I would go elsewhere. read more

This was my second visit to Tipsy Nails and sadly, was fairly disappointed compared to my first time about a year ago. I went around 3 on a weekday and the place was empty, which is expected, so they were able to get me seated in a chair for my pedi and gel removal as soon as I had picked my color. Large selection, nicely color coordinated OPI and Essie colors - they are beautifully displayed in a long row but are in a dark area so it's really hard to see the actual color. The male nail tech started by wrapping my gels in foil and remover then I moved to the pedi chair. I liked that I was able to enjoy the pedicure without much conversation - I like to turn on the massage chair, close my eyes and just zone out while I'm at the salon. The tech gave a great long scrub rub and foot/leg massage which was really nice to have - my feet came out feeling soft and how I would expect them to after a pedi. After finishing my pedi I moved to a chair to get my gels scraped off - having them soak for so long was good because the gel was easy to get off. But this is where things started to go WRONG. He seemed to loose interest and just want me out of there. When I said I didn't want color put on I guess he thought that meant I was done. He filed the top and sides of my nails with a very coarse board leaving them rough and catching on things. I tried to ask him to file and shape them but he had messed my delicate nails up so bad already that I ended up just trying to fix it myself there with him watching. He filed so hard that my actual finger was roughed up. Wasn't too happy about leaving there with my nails still looking a mess and when I got to my hotel I noticed that my toenails weren't shaped well, had hangnails and the polish looked like a 5 year old did it. Overall, I MIGHT try this place again but if I do I will pay very close attention to the shaping and polishing. Next time I won't leave until I am satisfied so I don't have to go somewhere else for a new polish job and nail shaping. read more

I used to really like this place. Their color selection is amazing. But, the last few times I have been, I've had an older woman or a guy that are a little rough. Several times, I've had to say out loud, ow, that hurts, but it hasn't made a difference. the woman has rwice talked the entire time to another coworker. I felt like if she'd do less talking and more paying attention then it might not be painful! it's not relaxing for the customer either to listen to 2 techs gossip the entire time. read more

My first visit was on Saturday 8/1/2015, got there right when it opened at 9:30am - walked-in. The girl who greeted me was Vicky, I explained to her what I wanted & that I wanted someone who was very good to do my nails (full set), as I've had bad experiences in the past at other salons. I told her about the good reviews I saw online about the place & that she was mentioned in several posts about her good work, she was very polite and thanked me & explained she had an appointment scheduled and someone else would be coming in to take care of me & suggested I pick out the color I wanted, no problem. They have this huge wall shelf full of good quality polish, all organized by color. The girl who did my nails her name is Lai & is my new best friend!! hahaha She was awesome, helped me pick out a color to a certain design I was interested in. I told her how I wanted my nails and she did an awesome job. I will be going back to see Lau, & get a pedicure as well next time, as I did not have a lot of time that morning. I can't say much about the quality of work because I was never able to get my nails done. I made an appt at 5:30, rushed to get there on time, walked in at 5:28 and was told someone other than who I scheduled the appointment with was going to do my toes. I was okay with that because I just wanted my hands done by someone who was recommended. After sitting in the pedicure chair for 15 mins, with no water ( they didn't even let me sit and soak ) I asked how much longer and I was told "you're gonna have to give us at least 10 minutes more, we're really busy" I replied, "I thought that's what appointments were for??" She said "sorry" I refuse to give my money to rude people with terrible customer service. I walked out and will never return. Plenty of other places in the area. read more
