Absolutely stunning nails and I'm in love with them! My boyfriend and I were shopping around downtown and we happened to stumble upon this hidden gem! The atmosphere was nice and relaxing and the massage chairs were beautiful and comfortable. I got a basic pedicure and then a full set of acrylics with add-on gems. The guy that was working on my nails didn't seem fluent in English but he still made me feel very comfortable and got my acrylics done in a timely manner! I highly recommend this place since it's so hidden with how narrow of a spot it's in that most people would walk right past it. read more

The most awful nail salon experience I have ever had. I made an appointment for a french regular polish pedicure and a gel manicure. I sit down for my pedicure and they are doing my toes and my nails at the same time. The guy filed my finger nails down so short, almost to the nerve. Then the girl doing my toes paints a splotchy white line on my toes with no base color underneath. when I ask if she's going to put a color underneath she says she can only do it with gel since they need to wipe off the excess white polish with acetone. How can you have a nail salon and not be able to paint a white line? On top of all that, it smells rancid in here. This place should be put out of business, I've never seen anything like it in my life. read more

I asked for a regular manicure and I believe they used gel polish. the next day, not even 24 hours later, the polish was wearing off on most nails. when I left a review with a picture, the response was, that's why we recommend gel to our clients. BEWARE! These folks can't do nails. Not only can they not do nails, they lie about their skills. When I arrived, I very explicitly asked to have a nail fixed without using a glue on nail. After a quick exchange, the girl confirmed that she's able to do what I requested so I allowed her to begin doing my nails. When it finally came down to fixing the nail, she pulled out the box with plastic glue ons and attempted to berate me into getting it done the way she knows how. I refused and since she had poor knowledge of the English language, I asked to speak to her manager. The manager came in, apologized and assured me he KNOWS how to do what I asked. He began to work and I quickly realized that he is just as clueless as his employee. They did not have the right equipment to work with shellac, nor do they have the skill set. When he was done and showed me his work, I was horrified! The nail was crooked and as thick as my finger. When I told him that this won't work and asked him why he lied about his skill set, he told me, again, that I should have just gotten the glue ons.... After that I left. read more

My friend and I went in today at 4 o'clock and didn't get helped until 5. The male employee started my friend's nails and all of a sudden got up in the middle of doing her nails and urgently rushes out. When he comes back after a couple minutes he reeked of weed. Then he started on me and his nails were digging into my finger and he was being very agressive. Then the woman finished my nails and in the process got hair in my polish, filed my nails down into actual daggers and just overall messed them all up. I would not recommend going here instead you should go to The Nail Place or Best Nail Bar. read more

The nail tech not only made my friend and I uncomfortable and would not stop massaging her legs after she repeatedly asked him to stop, but also has a very visible swastika tattoo on his arm. They overcharged my friend $25 than what the price on the wall said. It took over an hour for three of us and we were the only ones in the store. Not a bad spot for a pedicure. Staff was nice and welcoming. Pedicure was a bit rushed and some of the polish was a little sloppy, but not terrible. The massage chairs were nice and comfortable and there was plenty of time to sit and let them dry. I even smudged one somehow while we were out and about, and so I came back a couple hours later and they happily fixed it for me. I appreciated that! read more

Alright, I am a HUGE perfectionist when it comes to my nails. Was brought to this spot a couple weeks ago and NOT IMPRESSED at all. Got a full set and the nails were crooked. Was legit told that my finger was crooked. Against my better judgement, I came to this place one more time to give them a second shot...only to be pleasantly surprised to learn that they JUST CHANGED OWNERSHIP LAST WEEK! My experience today was superb!!! The new owners will absolutely gain a loyal customer base in no time if they keep up the good work. I will admit, I'm a little high maintenance and very particular about what I want. Danny, the new owner, was patient with me and put in a lot of time to make sure he did an excellent job, as well as made sure I was 100% satisfied before I left. That kind of customer service really wins me over. We pay good money to get our nails done and deserve to have somebody take the time to really pay attention to details. An excellent job all-around. While the lady that did my pedicure was nice, the woman that did my manicure was mediocre at best. She cut my thumb with the electric file. She rushed through the whole process and smudged one of my nails while hurrying me to get my pedicure instead of letting them dry. I asked for it to be fixed and all she did was put another layer of polish. Apparently I'm not the only one who has issues with their terrible work, as I noticed two girls come in to have mistakes fixed. Not worth the money spent. I cannot believe they would stand by the work they put out. UPDATE again: Since I am not local they could not fix my manicure as I had already left the state. So the manager will be mailing me a refund. I was asked to remove my review, but I don't think that is a fair representation of the business. I was not happy with the work and a refund will not change my opinion of the work. However I am glad the manager went out of her way to refund me and it did change my opinion of the establishment. The shop is pretty small, but they do a nice job. It's clean inside and they have some good color selections. Visiting Charleston and decent place to get nails done downtown since some of the other locations are closed post COVID. My pedicure chair was broken so that was disappointing. I got the basic pedicure and gel manicure for $70. Gel was applied well, not too thick. I went during the day on Thursday and socially distant, but not sure it would be on a busy Saturday or Sunday. This had been one of my go to nail salons in town, but something changed. The service menu has been torn off the wall, you get a different price every time you go in, acrylic nails are lifting after a few days, they are under staffed, don't have plexiglass dividers and do not understand much english. Last time I was there one of the techs was arguing with customers about a miscommunication they had as well as the price. I won't be going back until I see better treatment of clients and better reviews. Sad. read more
