All the locals line up for this delicious food, and it's so worth it! Delicious food, great prices, generous portion sizes, large variety of menu options, great customer service! They have a HUGE menu! (See my menu photos). Most items (not all) are premade, and kept in hot steamer tables, ready for your order. There are a few items that are made to order. Our mofongo took about 15 min for them to make, but we didn't mind. The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating. They took such great care in packaging our food. I was so impressed! Each item is overflowing the containers since the portions are very generous. They make sure to wrap each item individually, in plastic wrap, to avoid any kind of spillage. Don't waste any of the delicious juices and gravy! I really appreciated that the food didn't get spilled in the car before I got home! Kudos to the staff! We tried: -- Sancocho Soup ($11/Large): comes with a pint of white rice. Comfort food at it's best. Very good! -- Mofongo w.Pork ($10): comes with a small container of gravy. The Mofongo itself was a bit dry but good after you include some gravy. Very good and worth the wait! This was a great first experience and I can't wait to go back to try their goat stew, roast pork and other goodies. This restaurant is very busy, so the fast turnover for the food kept the dishes fresh and tasty. Rincon Dominicano is more of a takeout place but if you'd like to eat in, they do have about 10 stool seatings by the counter looking out of the window. Restaurant is very clean. So glad I finally made it here, and we shall be back to try other menu items!

She gave high praises about the chicharron pork Papusas. I decided to order the pork and shrimp. She shared with me a little tip, that while the sign on the restaurant says Mexican, it is a El Salvadorian restaurant. The restaurant was open for take out and the ladies were friendly and provided good service. I reviewed the extensive menu which features a mexican menu. They serve different Papusas but my eyes feasted on the shrimp. Our food was packed well and came with tortilla chips, a rich salsa, pickled cabbage in a ziplock bag and red sauce. The pickled cabbage is very similar to Haitian pikliz. A dish or condiment that many Caribbean countries serve and call a different name. The chips and salsa primarily were very delicious. The salsa was very rich in flavor and fresh. The humongous Papusas are why you come here ! Papusas are a national dish of El Salvador that is a thick flatbread from made with cornmeal or rice flour. Similar to a quesadilla but so moist and flavorful here. I really enjoyed the pork which tasted more like moist shredded chicken. The sauce and pickled cabbage paired really well. When her food was ready they charged her 18% gratuity on her whole order for sitting and eating her empanadas while she waited. She demanded to know why considering all she ate there was an empanada and everything else is was to go. They refused but she insisted. They also charge you for the containers of your to go order. That's ridiculous! We will be complaining because they can't mandate an 18% tip for food to go.

This spot is unique because it's open late and will satisfy any type of craving from salty to sweet. My favorite thing to get is any of the typical platters so much food! Lasts about 2/3 meals mattering how much you can eat haha. The service is nice but sometimes they do mess an order up here and there so just check your food before you leave. If you are looking to try any Colombian food or treat this is the place.
