Throughout the entire service, her nails dug into my feet, making what should have been a relaxing experience genuinely uncomfortable. At one point, she even blew on my feet with her mouth, which was shocking and extremely unhygienic. The "massage" was careless, rushed, and lacked any basic level of skill. When she finished, she tapped my leg, said "you're done," and walked away to sit on her phone. She made no effort to clean her tools, adjust the chair, help me put my sandals on, or ensure my polish was dry--basic expectations at any salon. It got worse after I left. By the time I reached my car, my polish was completely smeared. I had to go out of my way to return, only to receive an even worse result. My nail was cut crooked, and instead of correcting the issue properly, she painted over the original polish without removing it, leaving a messy, uneven finish. To top it off, she made a passive-aggressive comment saying, "See, gel polish lasts longer," which was both unprofessional and inappropriate given the situation. This experience was careless, unhygienic, and unprofessional from start to finish. I would strongly advise others to avoid this salon. I would also like to know that any positive review you see is likely incentivized. They offer a free cuticle oil if you leave them a positive review.

The manicure started with the tech mocking my hands and previous manicure, and got worse from there. I got acrylics and the third time I asked her to cut them shorter she tossed the clippers aside and started filing. But not gentle filing, aggressively done. The other women I was with were on the other side of the table at the opposite end, and while they were getting shoulder massages I was kind of dumbfounded. I didn't know if the physical pain was real, but it was. I'm including a pic of my fingertips to show I'm not exaggerating. I left a small tip, which didn't go unnoticed. They asked if I was going to add cash, and that's a hard no.

Second time back my gel manicure was chipped and pretty grown out so I went for builder gel and y'all. Builder gel is LIFE changing. My nails are genuinely the prettiest they have been, and the nail tech, David, put so much effort into making sure it was perfect too. All I had to do was show inspo pictures of the nails I wanted, and boom - David totally nailed it within the hour. And every single person in the shop were so supportive and so nice about recommendations too. All in all, would totally go back!!

We found Lavish last month and returned this month. Reasonable prices and great treatment were orders of the day. The staff is very attentive and takes great care of their clients. Dad is diabetic and 87 so it's important to have a nail tech that knows their business to avoid issues. Lavish does superb at that point right there. The lady is particular so when she wanted to return I knew we had found a spot for sure. She had the full mani/pedi with polish and it turned out fantastic. She slipped away for an errand before I could get a pic though so take it from me, it looks good. Especially the added matching rhinestones on the tires and fingers. Last time she got a floral design on her fingers which was well done to be sure. Highly recommend, except on Mondays so they don't start getting too busy for us to get in. :) Kidding... they deserve more business no matter when it is and we'll be happy to wait.

She went thru the motions of using tools but didn't use them properly. I think she assumes people don't watch her work, but I did. I watched her not file nails right, misuse tools, my toe nails were filed crooked, she refused to trim them to my asking because she believed they were short enough. I asked her to get the dirt from the side of the big toe nail and she said "I already did". I replied that I could see the dirt, pointed it out, and asked her to please get it. She said she already did that. Folks, I watched her every move. She clearly didn't. She was notably angry that I questioned her and she proceeded to dig in my toe with the pointed side of the tool. Three times I said "Ow! Please not so hard." I gave two stars because she had strong hands that made the leg and foot rub enjoyable. When painting my toes, she didn't let polish dry before applying a top coat. I would NOT recommend this salon. The price was way too much for the service received. I made the mistake to stop in for a try and I won't be back. Save yourself hard earned money!!
