I made pedicure appointments for me and my 7 year old daughter. When making the appointment, I specifically asked if they did children's pedicures (just soaking, cleaning, and a foot message). They confirmed and said they do not cut cuticles or scrub with children. I assumed they would charge less for the children's pedicure. When we got there, they seated us promptly, but then told me they do not do children's pedicures and would charge me normal price for the lesser service. The owner was very rude and made us feel very uncomfortable with his arguing in front of other customers. My daughter felt very uncomfortable with the entire situation. Tip to toe nails put a damper on our special mommy/daughter day. Crazy how they wouldn't accommodate children. We will not be back to this over priced salon!! read more

Worst pedicure I have ever had. I came in before my trip to mexico, but 2 days after my pedicure the Polish had cracked. I still had very rough feet when I left... and to top it off I brought my husband in for his first pedicure and the tech cut the top of his foot really bad. He didn't get polish obviously so his nails looked fine, but still very rough feet. The whole experience was very rushed and disappointing for how expensive it was... I will never, ever be back. I have been coming here for years (maybe 5?) and have never had a single complaint! I usually get shellac manicures and regular pedicures and I've never been disappointed :) All of the women that work here are meticulous and detail oriented. They consistently do the best job and are super friendly. Sheena always asks about my job and family and everyone is so welcoming. I got a normal pedicure and dip nails. The dip nails were $50 it was way to expensive for the way they turned out. They also charge an extra $15 just to add tips so I didn't do that but I wanted to. I went to get a shellac manicure tonight, I walked in almost an hour before they closed(6:10) and they refused to help me because they close at 7. Are you kidding me? You're in the service industry. If I walked into a sit down restaurant 30 minutes before they closed they wouldn't refuse service to me they would still allow me to come in and get a meal because IT'S THEIR JOB. If you are there 5-10 minutes late then you are there 5-10 minutes late because once again it's your job. I work in the retail business and we have NEVER turned anyone away because I would have to be there 5, 10, or even 15 minutes late. The ladies were very welcoming and nice. They took my mom and I in without an appointment. It seemed at first they did a good job with the gel polish then as soon as we left, my moms nail chipped. I thought nothing at first because sometimes that happens, then mine started chipping the next day. Less than a week and I have two nails peeling. My moms nails are also still chipping. I've never had a manicure where they started chipping less than a week later. I don't get them done very often and am typically pleased with most places, but this time I'm kind of frustrated, especially after paying the same amount as other good places. I will NEVER go back. I got a manicure and a pedicure for both myself and my daughter. I'm really not being fair because my daughter got a great mani-pedi so it's really luck of the draw on good v. bad techs. But, mine was not good. My pink and white nails were crooked and still felt sticky after a day. Both of my big toes were smudged. Nothing I did. They didn't help me on with my shoes, but I would have noticed. I didn't have my glasses on so I didn't see my toes until I got home. I pre-paid for the services with my cc and gave my tech a $20 cash tip to split between techs (I bet that happened)! The owner came back to me while I was getting fingers done and said that I owed $3 dollars more. He charged my card again rather than just waive it. Ugh, no business sense there. This place is by far the most atrocious nail salon ever. As soon as I walked in I saw the employees giving themselves pedicures while they told me they didn't have time to give a shellac manicure, only a pedicure. I sat down and waited in a pedicure chair with no water for over 20 minutes while the employees finished up their narcissistic pampering with no acknowledgment. Then when they were finished they catered to a woman who came in after me. Cherry on top: When I walked out they had the nerve to yell 'bye thank you'. What a disgusting display of human nature. So disappointed. I happened to be shopping near Tip To Toe nails today and decided to pamper myself. I had read such wonderful reviews on Yelp and I couldn't resist, so I called for a pedi appt. and they accommodated me right away, which I appreciated. The reviews I had read described the incredible friendliness of the staff. The young girl who did my pedicure could not have seemed less interested in being there or doing my pedicure. She even mentioned to me twice that she hoped to get off early, but her boss wanted her to be there for her whole shift. She laughed with the woman I think may have been the owner on and off during my pedi...and then at one point I felt like she was half awake and daydreaming. She rushed the leg scrub, painted my toes and then gave a mediocre leg massage. She also made me feel a bit uncomfortable by making negative comments about my feet. I've had foot surgery in the past and her comments made the experience even worse. Just such a buzzkill after reading the positive reviews. Looks like I'll gladly be returning to my previous salon after spending a disappointing $55 plus tip at Tip Top. I'm normally not one to complain...in fact, I'm a believer of giving credit where credit's due. Sadly enough, I just can't give the rave reviews that others have this time. read more

Do yourself a favor, and check this place out! It's been a long week at work or you just need a day out with the girls...either way, this is the best you'll find. I've been a long time customer of Tip to Toe, and can't for the life of me understand the bad reviews, although there are some HIGH maintenance people living in that general area that I would think are hard to please no matter what you do. Anyway, I realized I needed to write a rave review, so here it is. I've been to a myriad of nail salons throughout my life, and this is BY FAR my very favorite. Why? Reason #1- Great ambiance and CLEAN! The owners (Chang and Michelle) definitely take pride in their business. They have excellent taste in terms of creating a high-class and tastefully decorated space (no tacky nail photos here people- all artworks are original creations by the owner). Their tools are kept clean and sanitary as well as their pedi spas. Reason #2- Great service and well-trained staff. They seem to have low turnover (always a good sign) and very nice staff. The skills sets of all staff seem to be strong, and they are well trained because I get the same high quality experience every time. #3- Good value and nice extra perks. I feel like I get a great high quality service for a fair price here. They use hot towels in their mani/pedi and throw in a little shoulder massage when you are done as well- no measly hand/foot massages during the mani/pedi either. It's the small things in life. This is the second time I've been there, and greeted in a mediocre fashion when I walked in. Originally I had asked a for a pedicure, and then asked if they had time to fit a manicure in. They said they did not which is understandable, but proceeded to have three workers perpetually on their cell phones for the half hour after I was drying my toes. This is always my first salon because it's close, and even though I know I am paying 25% or more than the other local salons. I've been getting gel manicures while I wait for stronger nails to grow out, and treating myself to pedicures here and there. Bringing friends and picking up their tab, etc. Today I went in to book two pedicure appointments (again, taking a friend) and then asked if someone could remove the gel polish since it's starting to chip. I was told they charge $10 to remove it. So I said for $10 I might as well get a manicure. Told they charge $5 to remove the gel polish if I'm getting a manicure. Really? Yes, but if I'm getting another gel manicure, it's free. Well, I will be getting another manicure -- and as we all know, two pedicures on Sunday, but today I have chipped polish. I didn't say this, just kind of gave up and walked out. But really, I find this quite rude/inappropriate given the time and money and above average tips I've spent there. Sitting here at home scraping this gel off. Defeating the purpose of making the nails stronger. Offended. ticked. A few miles away at Crystal Nails, they are always happy to see me, always accomodate and charge much much less. I guess after the pedicures Sunday, I'll switch salons. read more

This place is absolutely the worst. Two weeks ago I came in for a manicure and was told it would be a 10 to 15 minute wait. No problem - I sat patiently. Another lady came in after me and was told it would be a wait; she then pitched a fit and said she would leave, so they took her ahead of me. Of course, I left. Today I thought I would give them another chance. I asked for manicure and was taken right away. A minute later another woman came in for a manicure and was told there would be a wait. She was a little miffed because she had made an appointment. Two manicurists discussed back and forth for a minute and apparently no one had made a note of this woman's appointment. So after my manicurist had taken the polish off one of my hands, she asked me to get up from her station and go wait. Mind you, I don't blame this woman as she had made an appointment. Naturally I left and then had to go back to work with nail polish only one hand. I have had hundreds of manicures in my life and no salon has ever had such a problem managing appointments as this place. There are dozens of salons near my office. This is a review for the PARKER location!! I recieved a gift certificate to this salon and took my little girl in with me for a mommy/daughter pedicure and manicure. When I asked how much for my daughter to get her toes and nails done, she quoted me $25 Halfway through the service, and when the nail tech working on me told her I had a gift certifcate, another lady came over and said "Oh, we increased the prices a few months ago and it's $35 for hers." I was floored! I told the lady, ah OK but that's kind of outrageous. Then the tech working on my daughter said she'd charge me $30 since my 6 year old "didn't have any cuticles"?! After that, they did not say barely another word to me or my daughter. And while I was receiving my manicure, my nail tech was incredibly rough on my nails, even making me bleed using a file! I paid and left. I will never return and I've told every single one of my girlfriends to not go there. read more

I had one mani/pedi here before and it was good so I went back..The second was horrible...If you do go do not ask for KO and if she is the only one available just give her the money and walk out because the results will be the same. The pedi took 10 minutes, the eyebrow wax was only 1/2 done and on the mani cleaning up cuticles and filing the nails is not something that comes with the service. Also, I could have held my breath during end of manicure massage, it was that short. The asking for the tip in cash is something that makes me so very mad... I stopped going to another salon because the price for the same service is different if you pay cash or use your card. It is a cost of doing business so deal with it. I, much like many people, do not carry cash. I did not have any cash so I reluctantly tipped KO and I think it made her mad because she walked away without thanking me or saying good bye.
