I usually go to a different nail salon, but I was closer to this one and they looked fairly priced. Everyone was nice in there and the environment was very calm, but my nails look a little funky and the acrylic got so close to my skin, to file it my skin got sliced. The girl I was with was very nice to me, but she was on and off her phone taking personal calls, which I didn't mind but if this would bother you I would not recommend going here. I'm not sure how long these nails will stay on. They seem pretty thick so likely will last me for a while, but they aren't the prettiest set I have had. read more

Do not use this business. If I could leave a lower amount of stars I would. We purchased a gift card for my daughter in May and they are now refusing to honor it. We are now out $50. Not sure if this is even legal. We will be checking with our attorney to find out. They were rude to her when she asked why. Horrible customer service. read more

The worst shellac pedi and mani I have had in years. I was in town for my sibling's wedding and my shellac manicure began peeling within hours. I had to colour in my manicure for the wedding the next day with hastily bought nail polish because between the rehearsal and wedding, I simply didn't have time to return to have them fix the shoddy work. I did return a few days later and was treated so rudely by who I assume was the owner. I've had acrylic/shellac on my nails for years, and I have never had this problem. The lady fixing my nails didn't want to actually fix the ones lifting and argued with me about each nail! There are far better places nearby to get your nails done. Don't be a fool like I was and listen to their reviews. They do a poor job and they don't take responsibility for their work. My daughter in law made an appt well in advance for Friday, September 1, for after hours. It was a few girls from her bridal party and myself. She specifically scheduled with Tony as he was the only one who knew what she wanted for her nails and the only one who could do them properly. Tony did not show up however and of the staff members who did only one woman was nice to us. Even she though talked my dil out of what she wanted on her toes. One of the staff openly and loudly complained and practically yelled at us as it wasn't communicated to her that she would have to stay late. This employee even snapped at a toddler who was with us over the color the little girl chose for her nails. This was only my second time coming here and I won't be returning. There are too many salons in Evansville to ever give another chance to one who totally botched up something like this. Only giving one star because I have to. read more

This place used to be great, my wife went there all the time and would only go there to get her nails done. Unfortunately, they recently came under new management, who wouldn't honor gift cards from the previous management. I called to speak with the new manager, who promptly hung up on me several times and eventually refused to answer the phone when I attempted recalling. Most relaxing mani/pedi I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I've been meaning to try this location for a while, but somehow I always end up at KT'S Nails. Today I'm glad I gave this place a chance! It is clean, bright, comfortable, and modestly priced. A french shellac manicure and french pedicure including tax and tip was $70, and the result is beautiful. The chairs for your pedicure are AMAZING. My cosmotoligist massaged my feet well, and I'm thankful for that! The staff are welcoming and friendly. They clearly enjoy their job and their environment. Not friendly if you forget to tip. I didn't have enough cash on me, my manicure ending up being more than expected, so I planned to go back to my car to retrieve more money for the tip following my manicure...but after her reaction to not getting a tip right away I decided not to. Threw my purse. Didn't respond to my thank you. Remember: tips are not mandatory. Also. I took my acrylics off about a week ago after having them on for several months. I have a green spot on my nail, which is a bacterial infection from the acrylic not being applied right. This was my first time going to this nail salon and will be my last! The owner was extremely disrespectful to her staff as well rude to the patrons being serviced. For her to own a business providing service to the public, I would automatically assume she would understand how crucial it is to be polite. I just recently moved to Fort Wayne and was looking for a new regular place to go. My first visit there was three weeks ago and I went in for an acrylic set with gel and my friend got just a gel mani. The woman who greeted us was very nice and we were quickly seated. We had gone closer to close but that did not effect our service. The girls working on our nails still took their time and made sure we were satisfied with our nails every step of the way. Ceecee (who was working on my nails) ensured that the shape was how I wanted it. I often have issues with acrylic nails but it has been three weeks and I have not lost a single one and there has been no lifting either. A week later me and two of my friends returned for pedis and received wonderful treatment. Since we went on a Friday during a busier time we called ahead and made an appointment. If you are going during a busy time or with a group, I would recommend calling ahead. When we arrived they had our chairs ready and there was no wait. The spa pedi is wonderful and a decent price. My toe nails were painted perfectly and it has been two weeks and there is no chipping. Along with the wonderful pedis, my friend who had received a gel mani the week prior had some chipping and the woman who did her nails happily fixed her chipped nails with no charge. Me and my boyfriend went to this salon to get pedicures and I decided to get my gel polish changed and a manicure. The pedicures were ok but my manicure not so good. The girl spent more time looking around at everyone else that I think she lost track of what she was doing on my nails. The polish is darker on some fingers (one extremely noticeable) and there are bubbles and marks in others, like the polish is not even. There is clear stuff all over my fingers and even polish color on my skin in various places. My nails are not even covered on the sides on some of them. She also didn't put any polish on the ends of my nails. We were there for what seemed like an eternity as it was and she was pretty much moving on to the next person the second she was done with me. I have been to this salon before but not with this girl but I will not be going back based on this experience. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I have had a mani/pedi and eyebrow waxing done here twice. I tried this salon out to find somewhere more convenient to go to. I had a good experience the first time I went, but the 2nd time I had different technician wax my eyebrows and they turned out uneven. I thought it would take just a few seconds to line them up more closely. So I went back and asked (politely) that it be corrected and I experienced a rude greeter and an indifferent owner. Although it was not like this the first time, it should not matter what day you go. Good customer service should be everyday. So on this day they had a problem with me from the git go. No one said sorry and I was treated like I had done something wrong. I gave my receipt so they could verify I had been there and I had spent almost $60 including a nice tip in their shop. Another lady who came out and corrected my eyebrows, I found out it was the owner, seemed irritated so I asked if they stand behind their services (still politely with calm voice) because most businesses try to work with their customers. The owner said she did not want to do this service over and over again and it would be best I not come back again. Are you kidding me. Really? I was only there once. She also said that they have not had a problem in 4 years and maybe it was me. Who says this? I was not planning to have them do the eyebrow waxing the next time I needed it, since it seemed more like a skill issue and I can go elsewhere to have it done properly, because it also took my time and gas to go back over there, but the mani/pedi was done good, although more expensive than at my former salon. I was floored and am extremely disappointed by the owner's response and there is no way I will return to this salon after being treated like this. I guess this salon can work for you, but don't ever have a problem or the owner will tell you, you're the problem. I absolutely do not recommend. Please, find another salon to go to. read more
