The worst manicure in Fort Wayne
    Rachel G.

The worst shellac pedi and mani I have had in years. I was in town for my sibling's wedding and my shellac manicure began peeling within hours. I had to colour in my manicure for the wedding the next day with hastily bought nail polish because between the rehearsal and wedding, I simply didn't have time to return to have them fix the shoddy work. I did return a few days later and was treated so rudely by who I assume was the owner. I've had acrylic/shellac on my nails for years, and I have never had this problem. The lady fixing my nails didn't want to actually fix the ones lifting and argued with me about each nail! There are far better places nearby to get your nails done. Don't be a fool like I was and listen to their reviews. They do a poor job and they don't take responsibility for their work. Now I have to spend time and money going to a proper salon to fix their mistakes. Photo is from the NEXT DAY after getting my nails done. My nails are now peeling again after their supposed "fix"!

Just moved here from Boston and thought I'd give this place a try. NEVER AGAIN! This is by far the worst set of nails I have EVER have. If you want your nails to look good, go elsewhere. I told her I didn't like them at all and guess what? Oh well....

I'm only giving one star cause my nails actually looked really good but I sat there for 20 min while the lady kept getting up doing other things that didn't need her attention at the time or she was on her phone like I said my nails looked great did other things afterwards nails still looking good then I take a shower and they start bubbling and the gel polish comes off and now my other nails are chipping never in my life have I had my nails do that the same day now I'm ok day 3 and they are just peeling or chipping off my husband also got a manicure and they left the corners of his nails sharp and dirt still under them definitely not work 75 bucks

Most relaxing mani/pedi I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. I've been meaning to try this location for a while, but somehow I always end up at KT'S Nails. Today I'm glad I gave this place a chance! It is clean, bright, comfortable, and modestly priced. A french shellac manicure and french pedicure including tax and tip was $70, and the result is beautiful. The chairs for your pedicure are AMAZING. My cosmotoligist massaged my feet well, and I'm thankful for that! The staff are welcoming and friendly. They clearly enjoy their job and their environment. Overall, I don't see myself going any where else for manicures.

Stopped in for a fill and it looks like all I had done was the polish changed. Not worth the $40

When I walked in there was a tablet where you sign in and choose your service. LOTS of services and options to choose from. No more than a minute of waiting was I greeted, asked my requested service and escorted over to the pedicure chairs. Water was immediately turned on and my tech was on his job pampering me. Picked my color (white, #399) & turned on my massage chair. I had a dress on so my tech gave me a hand towel to cover myself, thankful for that. He asked if I wanted my nails cut down to which I responded a little. I loved how he cut a little and then kept asking if it was good enough. Most places will cut your nails down a LOT and then you just get what you get. Perfect squared shape just how I like it. The pampering was excellent and the towels they out around your legs are piping HOT. Service was quick and everyone was very friendly. I got the Deluxe Pedicure ($31) with the added gel Polish ($10). $41 is not bad for the great service. Tech's name was Za, and I'm thankful to him.

This place is about 25 mins from my house but I came because the place near me was closed today…read more(Sunday), and because their site said they had a full bar . Upon entering I see the beautiful salon. Up front there's the manicure area, then a little further back they have these what look like royal chairs for pedicures but no one was sitting in them. I thought maybe it was a slow period but then even further back and to the right there's another area for pedicures. Not sure if the difference, but whatever. I told the lady I was there for a pedicure and she just said, "go all the way down to the back and to the right." Normally they walk you back, put you in a chair and give you the colors to choose from but, nope! So when I got back to the pedicure area I was just confused on what to do. After choosing a seat the lady came to do my pedicure. The water was piping hot so i asked her to turn it down. She did and it was fine but then for some reason the water was piping hot again. So I just left my feet out. She put this green tea powder in the water and it stunk very badly. Made my feet feel really soft though! Every other part of the pedicure was fine, except she didn't wait for the hot towels to cool off a bit before putting it on my legs so my skin was BURNING. She when she was cleaning the polish from around my toes, the nail polish remover was burning because she cut my skin. Overall decent pedicure. I love how my feet look and feel. I do wish she would've been a little more personable. I could barely hear her when she wanted me to move my feet. When she wanted me to put my feet into the water she would nudge at my feet. She spoke English to others very well so I knew that wasn't the issue. 3 stars because she did her job and I like the outcome. Tool 2 stars because their gel polish is $20! On top of their Pedicure service. Everywhere else I go is $10. What I got: -Signature Pedicure ($33) -added Gel Polish ($20) -Peach Shush drink ($8)

Sunny Nails - Uneven dip powder, sloppy edges along cuticle, and lifting along cuticle edge after 10 days of growth...

Only positives: -lovely salon…read more-nail tech was sweet (albeit did not know what she was doing at all) -the purple color is pretty Main negatives: -will promise nail techs who can do designs but cannot do anything but sloppy lines -false advertisement with design capabilities in the salon -poor ability to apply basic dip powder to nails -cannot make nail shapes even -no cuticle care -no lotion/massage included -limited dip colors to choose from -dip nails will lift after 6-7 days I made an appointment requesting designs for myself and a friend and we were assured that the nail techs could do designs. We get there and the place looks very beautiful and has a calm and relaxed atmosphere (which was great). However, the nail tech who did my design obviously had no clue what she was doing. I've gotten my nails done almost monthly for the last couple of years and I know what is supposed to happen when you get dip nails with a design. This nail tech skipped multiple steps and left my dip powder very thick, bumpy, and uneven. I had to ask for her to try and fix this multiple times (she was not going to do this as she started moving onto the next thing when I stopped her) and it still came out bad when you look closer. She also said she could not do any design I asked her to do. The best I could get was two straight parallel lines. She tried to paint the simple line design directly onto the dip powder without applying a clear gel base coat. For those who may not know, this is very wrong and will mess up the power and smudge any attempt at line work. Her lines were thick and wobbly. I had to correct the design several times because she was going to put the design on either the wrong finger or in the wrong direction compared to my other hand. On top of that, she made no attempt at cuticle care and not a single one of my nails is the same shape. They all range in length and are each their own version of something between a round, oval or almond shape. At least she was very nice and gentle when shaping my nails. However, not even a full week later, my nails were already lifting along the cuticle. I usually can go at least a month without issues. The only reason I get them done at the 4 week mark is because they are so grown out and I need them shorter for work. Now I'm constantly getting these nails stuck in my hair when showering or putting my hair in a pony tail. This never happened even when I got gel/shellac nails done until at least week 2.5-3.The edge along the cuticle isn't smooth at all and looks very sloppy now that they have grown out a little and is more noticeable. Anyone looking to get dip nails and/or a design, I would avoid this place as you will be promised a nail tech who can do designs, but will more than likely be unable to do even simple line designs. You also have a high chance that your nails will not even last a week and will look thick and sloppy. Do not trust any of their pictures online or posted in the salon as not a single one of their nail techs can do those designs. This salon would be better off doing more realistic advertisement instead of this false advertisement because that makes me more frustrated as I cannot trust them.
