I recently made and appt for myself and my daughter..I have been here before and always had a great experience..Helen & Amy always do an excellent job and did my nails exactly as I asked..very cute.. the salon is exceptionally clean which is everyones concern at this time..very well spaced out, sanitized and you get your own nail utensils to go and bring next time. I went there for 8 years both owners I go to a new one now much nicer happy to get your business.helen the owner is only nice to the ones that have money she picks her client gives the ones she dosent want to the rest i was insulted by one of the girls she told me I was fat and another insult I was so hurt bit it was close cause I cant drive due to health issues they always talk in there language about everyone in there they can't wait to get u out of there I know 5 family and friends that's will never go bak if u go to another salon in area they will tell u how many complaints they get about HELEN and workers and she treats them bad and talks bad about them except her cousin tammy will never go back I wanted to post this so long but dont like to hurt people read more

Bases on the reviews i was wary about getting my nails done here but i was desperate as many places were booked up. This experiece led me to sign up and write this review. The lady who did my nails was amazing and thorough ( i wish i remebered to get her name). She spent time making sure the nails were filed correctly but was so efficient. She did exactly what i wanted bases on a picture i provided ans matched the colour perfectly. Afterwards, the first store i stepped into the cashier complimented me on my nails! ***PLEASE READ*** This was the WORST experience. The people are LAZY AND LIARS. I asked to have my shellac nails removed with two of my nails being gel with the fake tips (because they were broken when I wanted my manicure at another location.) I made her clarify 3 times-at the risk of sounding deaf or condescending- but I needed to as the following situations are quite common in nail salons. She said $5 to remove my nails. I asked, but two of my ten nails have fake tips, she said that's fine, it's still $5. I repeated this and kept adding, are you sure? She said yes. I grabbed a chair quickly in this obviously, empty salon. While removing, a coworker said, these two nails aren't coming off that easily. I lightly scraped the two fake nails after being soaked in acetone along the rest of them, showed how easily it scrapes off...and asked, what do you mean? Just scrape it like you did the rest of them? Her manager (the lady who I spoke to about the price) chimed in and said, no, it's $10 to have that removed too. I explained to her, that you must be mistaken because I asked you to clarify the $5 rate for the removal, including 2 fake nails. After going back and forth for a few minutes, staying calm even though she kept ROLLING HER EYES, and YELLING AT ME....which I could not believe.... I told her she was a liar and leave my nails as is and I paid and left. She also added your nails will be weaker if I remove all the way. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE DIRT, LIED TO, MISTREATED, RUSHED AND YELLED AT. I have been getting my nails done all over the GTA and only decided to stop by here because i had a dental appointment in the plaza. Never making the mistake to come back here again. read more

Made an appointment for 6 pm...sat and sat for 35 minutes waiting..very cold and unwelcoming...so far not impressed..finally they started..no one talked..told her i think it was the owner Helen..what I wanted..fine..she tashed all the other nail places in pickering..to quote she said they were all garbage...yikes not good..very unprofessional..get this the staff started eating there dinners in front of everyone and theres others waiting to have there nails done..waiting..unbelievable..her work is not that great believe me I've had better and for $50 ..I won't be going back..there are better places to go in pickering and cheaper to boot..that was 2 and 1/2 hours I can never get back.. read more

Tried taking my mom here for her birthday and booked the appointment 2 weeks in advance come to find out they have no record of the reservation. Then we ask to wait and are very rudely told "they don't have the time right now" when there was only 1 person there. Do not waste your time going here. read more

I have been using their services for over 7 years. Changed owners a few years ago but the new staff and owner (Helen) is much nicer. It's clean, friendly, good service. However I have a problem with their opening, If you book an appt for opening time let's say 10am for a saturday make sure you have time to wait because no one will be there until 10-15min later. as well I wish they would have more, better collections of nail polish. read more

Worst service... Honestly they kept packing customer after hours and forgetting to finish with customer they already had. Limited choices with nail polish colours and they women who was serving me left me for 40 mins to serve someone else :( I had to remimd them to put the top coat and I put my own flip flop without assistance and went to pay. Horrible experience...Made an appointment for 2pm sat and waited for 30 minutes until u asked how much longer and I was told 2 minutes... another 15 minutes passed so I decided to leave...I am 8.5 months pregnant and they didn't seems to care at all or even come check on me...will never be back read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I had the absolute worst experience here and left in tears. I came in for a simple nail acrylic removal. The first lady that worked on my nails began ripping them off herself, until I had to ask her to stop three times, it was so painful. I asked her if I could use acetone to remove them like many other nail salons do. She seemed very unimpressed, grabbed acetone and told me to soak my hands. Then she left and started doing pedicures on other people and never ever came back. My hands sat for about 20 mins burning, until I took them out and started taking off the nails myself. Eventually another worker walked over, filed them down briefly and told me I was done. I felt like I had done everything on my own. My nails were bleeding, the skin around my fingers were all torn from the acetone, and it was very painful. My nails looked terrible when I left. I had to come home and cut them myself. The worst experience I have ever had. Not worth the money at all. read more

Very clean and shellac colour alone does last very long. They however don't do a very good job cleaning around the nails or the heels.
