Very nice place and service was phenomenal. The waiters were always asking if we needed anything. At lunch the place is very quiet which is also quite nice. The food was good the only thing I can complain about is that my quesadilla did not have a lot of cheese. read more

The food was okay. I felt like the portions were a little small for the price. It was hard for me to find my server when I needed him.

I travel for work and love some Mexican food, this is by far the worst I have ever had. Three words to describe the food is this, bland, bland, cheap. I ordered the combination plate with beef burrito and tamales. The burrito was a tortilla and bland ground beef. No cheese, lettuce or anything in the burrito. The tamale tasted old. The refined beans must have been made a month ago. No flavor at all and the rice was, guess what? Bland!the queso blanco was like water. They definitely need help with their quality and flavor profiles. read more

Not for me. On a road trip and needed to stop for lunch. The staff was friendly, but that's where it stops for me. The place smelled sour and the food order was completely wrong. I got the chili relleno (my favorite Mexican dish). The pepper was spoiled and the cheese wasn't right. Ordered an enchilada with red sauce and got cheese sauce instead. I left the entire chili relleno behind. I really wanted to like this place, but it was bad from every stand point. Place was quiet, but that's because no one was there. read more

The food was ok. The chips, not too good. They didn't understand me when I ordered. I felt rushed. The mgr is never nice. He talks about his personal issues, while eating, setting food on the counters. Flavorless sauces. read more

Not the best local Mexican. The portions are smaller than other places and overall not my favorite. Parking is good and it's nice facility. read more

Let me preferance this off by saying most of the food was good. Except for the seafood combo.... It made my brother sick, and it only got worse from there. The server acted as if he didnt want to serve us. He was on his phone for most of the time. We had to ask twice for cheese dip. Another issue we had was we could see floor cleaner just sitting on the floor next to the bathrooms in clear view of the public. We could also see two open boxes of cereal that was in the kitchen. I will never eat here again because of the poor service we received read more

Always my favourite place to eat. Margaritas are the best in town. You can't go wrong.

Super good fish. I almost always get the Tio's tilapia or shrimp. So good! Service is fast and friendly. Love the big windows and opportunity to sit outside when it is nice outside. Really good frozen margaritas. read more

Probably the best Mexican food I've ever had. Me and my siblings are here from Ohio and ate here tonight. Everyone raved about their entree's! And great service! read more

Extremely good food.. fast, friendly service. Not your typical Mexican food. Not all traditional, not all Tex-Mex. Will be back the next time in town and try some more options off the menu. read more

Tremendous service. Excellent food. Have been going here since it's opened and always top notch. At one point, although it's been a bit, management would bring me some of his own special stock hot sauce or Carolina peppers read more

Quick service when we stopped for lunch on the way through. The food was decent and they had a cheap lunch menu.

Wow! What a great dinner experience. The service was super attentive and got everything right the very first time for our party of 10 with special orders. The food was ready so fast and the price was right. This place is worth going to. read more

We drive 3.5 hours from Little Rock to spend a night in Poplar Bluff so we can have dinner at Tios! This is by far the Best, most amazing Mexican food in the state. It doesn't matter what you order....it is delicious and cooked to perfection. Don't forget to ask for a large Margarita too. You won't be disappointed. We like everything we have tried and we have eaten here many times. Their grilled vegetable are a must! read more

Service was wonderful. I love how they make the guac at your table. Food tasted great and we were pleased.

We went with about 5 other people. Seated in a timely manner. Waited on in a timely manner. Food presented in a timely manner. 3 of us got 3 different chimichangas. They were all mixed up, but they finally got them sorted out. Chips and salsa was fresh. Food was fresh. Over all good experience. read more

The menu at Tio's is a little different than the other Mexican restaurants in town and seems to include more healthy options. The meals are always tasty, and the servers generally are very attentive. The restaurant is spacious and has rooms available for groups. I couldn't find a menu anywhere online and so am posting shots of it here. read more

Tasty, mainstream Mexican served with a smile! Had a lunch meeting here one day last week. When we sat down, we were warmly greeted and promptly served some crispy chips, restaurant made salsa, and restaurant made tortillas with butter. The salsa was a little hot for me, but I think catsup is too spicy so probably its fine for most people. The tortillas were delicious! They were breadlike, chewy, and warm. It was really hard not to just gobble them down and not eat my meal. I had one of the combos with a chile relleno, taco, beans and guacamole salad. No surprises here - food was as expected. In other news, the bathroom was clean and adorable. The sinks were really cute and the soap smelled like flowers. I would return to try something else and eat more of those freshly made tortillas! read more

3 weeks ago we so enjoyed our meal at Tios Bar and Grill that I recommended my husband eat there again when he once again drove through Poplar Bluff. What a disappointment! 4 tacos were barely warm. Staff did not offer something else. The only reason I gave a two star rather than a one star was that they accepted partial payment. We probably won't be back. read more

My favorite place in Poplar Bluff! The table side guacamole is fantastic! Nice atmosphere! Not only the best Mexican in PB, I think it's the best restaurant period. read more

Ordered pollos habanero , expected more heat, it seemed like their advertised specialty but the sauce was a wierd yellow sweet mayonnaise and was served lukewarm. Restaurant itself is one of the coolest atmospheres of any Mexican restaurant I've been to. They also give you a basket of warm tortillas and butter for a starter which is simple and orginal read more

The service was less than mediocre. The food was in large portions, which is great, however the food wasn't seasoned very well and resulted in a blandish meal. There is apparently no alcohol menu whatsoever, the only thing the servers know is there is margaritas. You have NO WAY of knowing the price or even what type of drinks are offered. It's right down the road from a college, wtf is that about? I am so disappointed in not having some type of alcohol menu, even if it were just a few on a list like most other Mexican restaurants. read more

This place is a must try! They make homemade tortillas to order and they are delicious. This is the Mexican restaurant we go to when we are in bluff. The staff is very friendly and the decor is hip. I have several different items her and I haven't been let down yet! read more

My favorite Mexican Restaurant in Poplar Bluff. Always superior service. Excellent food. Today I had the fish tacos. They were delicious. I also recommend the table side Guacamole Dip. read more

Wasn't bad. Just nothing spectacular. I did like the daily specials. We went and got chimis for 4.99 I believe. Ended up being one small chimi versus 2 or one larger one. read more

My absolute favorite Mexican restaurant here is town. I have never had a bad experience even when it is completely packed. I have had a wide variety of food from here everything from the twins soup, chicken cheese and rice, Fajitas, bean dip, their to die for fresh table side guacamole, nachos, quesadillas, their specials, and my go to favorite Chile Colorado. Chile Colorado is spicy, flavorful, and pretty good quality steak. It comes with their homemade warm tortillas. I think that is what really sets them apart from the other Mexican restaurants in town. So much of their stuff is homemade. You can literally watch them make the tortillas. And this would make you think they cost more than other places because of the home made products but they are the same price if not cheaper than other places here in town. I swear by them. read more

Party of two, both orders were wrong. Tried to get one corrected and the server brought another incorrect entree ...... What's the point to try again. The food was warm, not hot, service was terrible. This was a good alternative for Mexican food when they first opened. Not the same place. read more

Best Mexican place I've visited in a while. Great value, beautiful atmosphere, cute bathroom sinks and great smelling soap (random, yes, but pleasant!), great vegetarian options, the BEST tortillas, and awesome service (thanks Steve!). 5 star review for sure! read more

Visiting from our of town. The arroz mama Julia was awesome, but they gave me a jacked up fried ice cream and wouldn't admit to it. Mine had raisins and coconut, and no one else's did, but the waiter told me to my face they were all made the same time and that's how it should be. Comfy seats, a little slow. read more

Its alot like Mayas and Las Margeritas good environment and the food is much more decorative! However the portions seem a little smaller for a price that is about the same. You also have to go looking for Tios Its near the college so not everyone (out of towners) would know where it is. read more
