She said she had nothing to do with my order and that I would have to come back in in person to get a refund as there was no way to refund it on the card over the phone. I asked if they normally don't check orders when they go out and she said that the crab cracker doesn't even show up on their tickets so definitely don't order that. Actually, just don't order this place to go at all. I was told upon pick up that they don't even have to-go salt and pepper packets and they have no included fork spoon, knife, or even napkins in the bag. How am I supposed to eat three crab crab clusters with nothing to open them with? Thanks a lot for my business. I guess I'll just take it up with my credit card company.

Very Disappointing Customer Experience…read more I don't understand why anyone would deliberately refuse to honor discounts, promotional codes, and other offers available through the Long John Silver's app. When a restaurant has some of the highest prices around for its products, refusing legitimate promotions essentially sends customers the message: "Pay our exorbitant prices or go somewhere else." That is especially disappointing in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, an area that already faces significant economic challenges. You would think a local franchise would want to attract customers, build goodwill, and improve its business practices--not turn customers away over discounts and promotions offered through its own app. I also have to question how this can happen at a franchise location. If these promotions are being offered through the corporate app, why is a franchise allowed to simply refuse to honor them? Something definitely isn't right with the way this Poplar Bluff location is being operated. If this is how customers are going to be treated, then I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. I ended my meal with 4 pieces of smoked salmon sashimi which was rather disappointing. Smoked salmon is my absolute favorite as it is usually moist and cut right from a piece of fish. This salmon was dryish and thin sliced and quite salty-I've never experienced that before. Avoid that one but indulge in everything else!
