Billings staple, Broncos bar, local hangout. If you're hungry, get a Roger (Tiny's) burger. Wings are always good. Try the Cajun. Tuesday nights, awesome halibut fish and chips. Orange Crush (an 18oz screwdriver) is famous, I'm a PB&J guy. (Pabst Blue Ribbon and Jameson) Service is great unless you're a jerk. Then expect some dive bar blowback... Total dive bar with salty, greasy food. Been going here on and off for 30 years. No updates same filthy place and staff that makes you feel unwanted. Overpriced drinks, if you can get one. Might be a little shady looking from the outside (and darker than expected on the inside), but is worth a try for some decent grub. This place is fine as long as you know what you're getting. This is your typical bar with food options. I went primarily for the Cajun wings because I was told they are the best in town. I found them to be average overall. They were definitely large and served piping hot. They weren't especially seasoned to any degree, which was a downer. I asked for some sauce and they brought some buffalo sauce that had some heat, but the flavor wasn't really my thing. The onion rings were decent, a bit overcooked, but not so bad I couldn't eat them. The beer selection was good and the draft is served in a giant glass. As far as the atmosphere, it's a bar. It's noisy and people are drinking and living it up. It's not a complaint, just don't expect fine casual dining when you go. I did feel the food was a bit pricey for what I got. A wing special and a beer was over $30. In short, I wouldn't go here for the food, I'd go here for the bar and grab some food while I'm drinking. read more

I have lived close to tiny's for over 13 years I have tried at least half a dozen times over the years to come in play machines and drink a soda every single time I come in the patrons are rude disrespectful they don't want to serve you or they just treat you like you are less than, or inferior. They make me feel as if I'm not good enough to enter their premises. I am not a street person, not a bum, not a crackhead. I have been so badly so many times I downloaded Yelp the first time just to put this review on here. I cannot stress enough how awful the patrons behavior has been on six different occasions. I will never go there again. And I will tell everyone I know how awful it is and to never go there personally. I wish I was more articulate to express how angry I feel and awful after my experiences at tiny's tavern. People should be treated respectfully and kindly. My advice-Never go to tiny's.! Great food and drinks but the older guy bartender is nothing short of horrible. Denied me a glass of water, slamming his hands on the counter and telling me he didn't have any. A friend who recently turned 21 came on her birthday and her paper ID was accepted but came tonight and was told they "don't accept them". If they don't, it's fine, but they should be consistent to avoid instances like these. All other cocktail waitresses and bartenders are great but anytime I see that guy working I turn around and go elsewhere. read more

Love the atmosphere of the patio in the summertime and the food is good! But I cannot get past the attitude of the bartender that seems to always be there! The first time he was our server I thought maybe he was having an off day, so I just tried to be friendly and make sure I tipped well every time he brought us a drink. But I have now encountered him many times and it appears this is just who he is. He should not be in the service industry. He treats the customers like they are a nuisance, and an inconvenience. Try the "Tiny Burger" $10.25, it's everything but tiny. They revamped the menu since I've been back. Tiny burger- two 1/3lbs patties, sautéed onions. Sprinkle chili pepper, bacon, geese and mushroom. Have not been to Tiny's in several years. Used to enjoy it. Their menu is now much smaller. Chicken, burgers, salad, pizza and a couple other items. I ordered fish and chips - mistake. They obviously use a small frozen breaded cod. If cooked perfectly it would be mediocre. Unfortunately they were raw and cold inside. Wait staff was very prompt in replacing the fish with an over- priced burger. Burgers have gotten expensive but this $11+ burger was okay but not worth the money. Fries were under cooked for my taste. Good service, not great food, not a good value. I won't go back. read more

Been here a dozen times for their lunch specials. Always fills me up and for around $8 it is always worth it. Service is always great and it is always pretty full which tells me others enjoy the lunch specials. I hadn't visited Tiny's in awhile but was very excited to try the Halibut Fish & Chips on a Tuesday night. Gathered up a few friends, and we arrived about 6. The place was hopping and packed; it appeared only the bartender and a very personable and capable waittress named Bella were manning the show. All 4 of us ordered the Tuesday Fish & Chips special and had alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The air was a little close in there - it's been hot - and we know it's dark, but not a problem. When the food arrived - within a reasonable amount of time - we dug in... Only to find that the fries / CHIPS (headliner) were COLD. I don't mean not hot as much as they were Cold. We pointed this out to Bella and she left to, presumably, get it sorted out. She came back and said the cook can "heat them up for you". This was not her idea, we're certain, but Have You Ever Had a Kitchen Offer to Heat the Fries vs. REPLACE THEM?? Come on, they are a Headliner in the Entree and they're bone cold. We politely declined and no restitution was made or offered. We won't return for Fish & Chips, that's for sure! read more

Every so often, we have to visit Tiny's to remind ourselves just how bad it is. The patio is great - don't get me wrong - and a real treat in Billings. But nearly everything else... Awful. We stopped in on a busy Thursday night and a tall blonde approached our table with a sullen look. My wife asks "How are your margaritas?" and gets the dejected response "It's a margarita." We say we'll need another minute and thankfully our waitress is replaced by Dillon, who was far more friendly and attentive. We ordered drinks and food, and my wife took a recommendation on the Orange Crush, which I swear tasted like Everclear mixed with Tang. The 'Cajun wings' resembled nothing Cajun in any way, shape or form, and our pickle burger was just blah. This place has huge crowds because of the oversized drinks and patio, but I've yet to have anything on the menu here that I would try again. read more

I feel that as women of a certain age he had no interest in providing us good service, as he was joking and chatting with his buddies at the bar. He told us after we were ignored several minutes and chosen seats ourselves that our table was reserved. He said "the whole section is reserved so go sit someplace else " He ignored us several more minutes even though it was not busy then threw menus on our table. Then he rolled his eyes when my friend asked a question about the menu. Our lemonade was watered down and tasteless and the chicken salad barely had any chicken. Found this place as a fluke. Biggest Blue Moon I have ever gotten! Had to use both hands to lift he goblet. When we first got there, we felt out of place because it's definitely a local bar. Tons of sports memorabilia which is not my thing but it's probably cool for everybody else. The beer is cold, mixed drink was strong. Best bar in Billings. Fast friendly service. Totally impressed with the food and the bartender was excellent.

I wasn't once spoken to, never got a menu just my Caucasian counterpart got one. My drink order was ignored. When I finally received my drink it was absolutely awful, I couldn't even drink half of it and didn't taste like it had any alcohol. The food took a long time and had no taste to it.
