But our son has been there almost a year now, and he has thrived since he has been in Marjan and Ms. Niharika's care. 1. The moment we toured Paradise Kids we loved the cozy, clean room and outside play area. We happened to visit at lunch, and 7 kids were eating calmly and happily looking at us, 4 in high chairs. How?? Are they magicians? I was very impressed with the care each one was receiving and clearly there was a great routine in place for so many kids to be orderly. 2. And speaking of lunch, all meals are nutritious and prepared by the caregivers. They are offered lots of fruits and vegetables with different proteins. My son lovesss eating there. One downside is that my bland cooking is no match for the food at daycare so I've had to step it up at home. 3. We toured several OC daycares and went with an in-home daycare because we wanted a smaller facility. We were told by our friends that when our son starts daycare we should expect him to be sick all the time. He has been sick a few times but nothing serious and definitely not often. I attribute it to the small number of toddlers and Marjan's clean home (and his regular vaccines of course). As I said before, my son is thriving and loves seeing his friends and teachers. It wasn't my choice to send him so young, but as it is I am so thankful for Marjan and Ms. Niharika for treating him with so much love and care. I highly recommend Paradise Kids if you're in need of a great daycare!

We got to tour and speak with the owner, Ms. Marjan, and quickly came to peace of mind when we saw the set up and the kids + Ms. Marjan and Ms. Niharika, her associate, interacting with each other in the backyard during playtime. Safety (and trust) was of course our number one priority, but beyond that, Ms. Marjan sealed the deal with the wealth of information she shared on how she runs her in-home daycare. We left the meeting/tour feeling like there were no unanswered questions, and confident that our son would be in the best care between Ms. Marjan and Ms. Niharika. Throughout our time together, Ms. Marjan was flexible, understanding and attentive to details/a great listener. Accommodations were made to adhere to Luca's specific dietary needs, and we knew from Luca's afternoon bowel movements that he was chowing down his daycare provided meals (mostly organic and all homemade!). Though our time was short, we're so lucky to have found this gem - organized and structured, but also with lots of room and encouragement for creativity, which allowed our son to grow and thrive! Paradise Kids is truly a paradise, and we feel everything was done in the best interest of our little boy. He has made new friends, flourished in his milestones - walking and talking, and created priceless memories here. We thank Ms. Marjan, Ms. Niharika, and the whole Paradise Kids family for helping shape the special little person that he is today, and for truly making us feel like an extension of this family.

We also really appreciated the small class size and how the children were close in age -- it created such a nurturing and balanced environment. I had…read moreheard many stories from coworkers of having to get on waitlists while pregnant, high costs, etc etc and was very anxious once my maternity leave neared its end that we wouldn't be able to find a suitable place. We toured many daycares- some in-home ones and others with facilities (ChildTime, etc) but none compared to this. Our first in-home daycare before arriving at Little Explorers was truly abysmal (breast milk wasted, instructions not followed, few updates, TV on every day...), so when we toured Little Explorers and saw the peaceful environment and amazing parent experiences, we were truly so relieved. My daughter has been now at Little Explorers for just over a year and I've felt such a peace of mind having her there. The app updates and photos were so appreciated, especially when she was fussy with breast milk and transitioning to various foods. In many instances Ms. Julia was able to get my daughter to drink more milk than I could even do at home. In addition, my daughter's egg allergy was taken seriously and I am so glad the school provides NUTRITIOUS healthy food that is home cooked! We are eternally grateful for the role they have played in shaping our son into the kind and curious little boy he is today. Not only is he leaps and bounds ahead in his language and math skills, but more importantly, he has developed a strong sense of integrity, empathy, and independence. Every day, we dropped him off knowing he was in the care of people who genuinely loved and cared about him and his development. I believe that that type of peace of mind is something every parent hopes to find. In fact, among all the excitement for starting kindergarten, one of the first questions he asked was "will Ms. Julia be there." The memories we built here are priceless, and Julia and Vlad will continue to be part of our lives as family friends. We wholeheartedly recommend Little Explorers to anyone looking for a place where their child will not only learn, but truly thrive.

Where do I even begin... and how can I put in to words how much we have loved our time at ICDC?…read more My daughter joined ICDC at just 10 months old and she's been lucky enough to call ICDC her home away from home for the last 4 YEARS! My daughter was one of the luckiest kids to have been in all of the classrooms - Infant Room, Toddler Room, Pre-1, Pre-2 and Pre-3. We've been able to meet/experience all of wonderful teachers and staff who truly make the place special. And it's no wonder so much of the staff has dedicated 5,10...20 years of their careers to ICDC and teaching & caring for our future generations. They truly care about the kids social-emotional and educational development! They have lesson plans, help the children gain independence and have lots of hands on learning experiences inside the classroom and also with off site Field Trips. They even have a yoga instructor come in every Monday to do yoga session with each of the older classrooms!! How cute is that? ICDC is truly special in all that they do, they have little events like: Mother's Day Picnic, Donuts with Dad, Holiday Family Pajama Breakfast, Spirit Week and much much more! They really do a great job giving families the opportunity to be involved with the school and my biggest advice is to 100% participate in all that you can. Attend all the events, volunteer for teacher appreciation week, go to the fundraisers, attend back to school night, and build community within ICDC in any way that you can. Again, I can't say enough kind words to truly convey our experience with them these last 4 years, but the time has come for my daughter to start elementary school. I am so thankful for the foundation in education, confidence, kindness, and care that ICDC has given her. She walked into the center every day with a smile on her face, and that gave me so much peace as a parent. Choosing a daycare is one of the hardest decisions you'll make, but from my experience, choosing ICDC was the BEST decision I could have made. I trusted them with the care of my only child, and in return they gave me so much more than I ever expected... They gave her a safe place to grow, lifelong friendships, confidence, unforgettable memories, and a genuine love of learning. They also gave me the priceless gift of knowing my daughter was loved, supported, and cared for every single day. We will forever be grateful to be a part of the ICDC family, and although we're moving on to elementary school, I know this place will always hold a special place in our hearts. I hope that if you find this review and are lucky to also call ICDC home, that you will love it as much as we did!
