This one of the best places to get fish and aquarium products. My only problem is every time I go in there the employees act like you are a nuisance. It's a very uncomfortable feeling. All except the owner, she is very knowledgeable and helpful. They need friendlier employees. read more

Owners and other staff are extremely friendly, very knowledgeable, and most importantly very honest. For someone like me, who loves fish but only has the time and energy to be a casual enthusiast, receiving an honest opinion on the suitability of certain fish for my home setup is huge. Unfortunately, with big box fish stores the employees don't always have the knowledge, or the integrity to set honest and clear expectations for fish that you are looking to buy. Not once have I ever felt like anyone at the shop was blowing smoke to try and sell me a fish that wouldn't work for my space or my knowledge level. Although I just moved out of the Round Rock area to Liberty Hill, I will gladly drive the distance to come back here with any and all of my aquarium needs. read more

Wow, wow, and wow. Stopped in to get some plants, rocks, and driftwood for my tank- I was *not* disappointed. First and foremost- and most importantly, honestly- the tanks were so incredibly clean. I have lived in 2 major cities and been to just about every small aquarium store within 2 hours of them, probably over 20 by now- and I have never seen one where I genuinely felt the well-being of their livestock was truly the priority until now. The tanks here are well laid out, clean, and I didn't see a single dead fish. Everything from their fish to their invertebrates seemed to be comfortable & very healthy, most of the tanks even having some live plants. Really makes me happy to see a place that sells fish that doesn't treat them like objects and instead cares for them like living breathing creatures who deserve the best. I feel the need to particularly mention their bettas, who aren't crammed into tiny crappy cups or itty bitty little boxes- their setup is great & humane, exactly how it should be. Awesome! That right there was enough to secure my repeated business. They had an amazing stock of rocks, driftwood, fish, inverts, plants, tanks, equipment, substrate... you name it they've got it. Amazing high end tanks all over, and they even had quality CO2 setups available which is something I've never seen before. Driftwood was a tad pricy but I think that's pretty standard at most places. Their plants, which was the most important thing for me personally, were very healthy, well maintained, and had a very large selection available. Absolutely loved it. They're all thriving in my tank a few days later, and I'm sure they'll hold up nicely. I will say they are also a bit pricier than what I'm used to but I'll gladly spend a little more at a place that seems to do such great tank maintenance, and it was absolutely not unreasonable pricing either. The customer service is also great. I overheard a lot of customer interactions and all of the employees were very kind & attentive, including the one that helped me painstakingly pick out a bunch of plants. All my questions were answered and I left with everything I needed. Finally- even if you don't have fish this place is awesome to just look around. They had a whole variety of tanks that looked like professionally scaped. I could only dream of having those skills- it was so impressive I could hardly look away from some of them. Almost made me jealous! All in all, I will be back- probably a lot. Very, very happy with my experience and my purchase. read more

Tiny aquatics is a really gorgeous fish and aquarium store. Their tanks are clean and their fish are healthy. The employees were friendly and helpful when needed. They have a lot of amazing nano tank set ups to get inspired by and then ALL of the necessary supplies to set one up- tanks, substrate, fish, driftwood, really awesome types of rocks, and freshwater shrimp. Their fish and shrimp are very competitively priced compared to Austin's fish stores. If you want shrimp and small fish, this is the place to go. I hope they offer more nano fish options in the future. I look forward to going back soon! read more

This is the BEST place to buy fish or if your getting in to the hobby. It's currently the only store in San Antonio/Austin area that seems to specialize in aquascaping and it's incredible. The owner is very passionate and is always willing to help costumers out. I cannot recommend Tiny aquatics enough. I was recommended this place from one of the other pet stores after they noticed I was interested in shrimp and other tiny tank mates. This is by far my new favorite fish store in all of Texas. Their selection is really nice and when you go there, you will be helped so much especially if you love shrimp because this is their specialty. Stopped by here for the first time today and thought they had an awesome selection of plants and fish, especially for nano aquariums! The staff were probably the best I have seen in a fish store. They were very helpful and engaged with every customer that walked through the door. You can tell they really care and are interested in helping you out!
